Gina grabbed George by his shoulders and spat the next words voice filled with venom.

"YOU!!! BECAUSE OF YOU, THE 1ST PERSON I OPERATED WITH IS THE MAN I LOVE. MY MAN!!!"

"Do you know how it feels when you cut through the skin and take the bullet out of that one person whom you love so much that you want to be his??" Gina spoke.

Gina turned back to ask a knife to meet with the shocked faces of her brothers and they seem to be in a daze.

"What??" Gina growled for which everyone came out of their daze.

"What happened to you, Gina?? Why are you behaving like this??" Erik asked his twin.

"This is what I am. It's just that you guys don't know me properly. But it's not a mistake of any of you. Because I never showed what I truly am" Gina spoke and took a knife from the table.

She cut the nerves which are essential and left the room. No matter how much she wanted to cut him into pieces and torture him to death, the Doctor inside her would not let her do that.

So she just wanted to take his life by her own hands for what he did with Ric. Only she knows how she felt while piercing through his skin to remove the bullets and she determined to never go through that hell again.

She left for her room and changed herself after taking a long warm bath. As she came downstairs to go to the medical center, she saw her family in the living room waiting for her.

"Will you explain what actually happened there, Gina??" John spoke.

John never called his daughter by her name unless its something serious. So she understood that her father is deadly serious and wants to know everything.

"Why do you guys think I changed my decision suddenly from studying computers to studying medicine?? Why do you guys think I returned back home now??" Gina questioned to which no one has an answer.

Taking their silence as their answer, Gina continued.

"It's for him. Whatever I did until now, I did for him. At first, I wanted to study computers so I can be in his team just like Sarah Zia used to be for Padre. But when I was 15, I first read a news saying that Ric got shot and that's when I wanted to be a doctor so that I could treat him every time he gets hurt" Gina sighed.

"So you do remember him well??" Sarah asked.

"When did I ever forget to remember him now" Everyone is dumbfounded by her answer as that's exactly the same as what Ric said.

"But you never mentioned him all these years??" Alex asked.

"Because I didn't want you all to try to make me forget him again just like you sent him away when we were young" She spoke somewhat harshly.

"Bu-but how do you??" Ruby was shocked.

"How did I remember all this when I was just 4 when Ric was sent away??" Ruby weakly nodded at Gina's question.

"I didn't remember everything as well. I just remember having a particular chain always with me. I kept it with me always and I don't know why it gives me a different type of comfort. Years passed by and I was 12 when I saw him again. His pictures were published all over as he took over the reins. Then I started to have a crush on him. And later when I came here during vacations I tried to meet him and talk to him in many ways, but it couldn't happen then. And during that time itself, I found that the chain I have is the other half of the chain he has. Years passed by and my feelings towards him became stronger with time. And a few months before I joined university, Ric got shot and was badly injured. That's the moment I decided to study Medicine so that I could treat him myself if he gets hurt here and there. Even now, I came back for him, to know what he really feels for me"

Gina spoke with the same expressionless face throughout. Everyone is both happy and shocked hearing her. This is not the girl they have known. This one is completely the opposite. Everyone stood silently absorbing everything she just said.

"So you came here to be with him??" Rio asked.

"Only if he wants to" Gina replied.

"Do you really think he would not be interested??" Gabriel asked this time.

"It's not about what I think or what he thinks. It's all about what we want. And please let us decide what we want to do" Gina spoke in a decisive tone. "Now I want to go to him to check on him"

Saying that Gina left the room without waiting for a reply and moved towards the building where her man is being treated.

While on the other hand, her family chose to keep silent on this matter and decided to let them decide what they want even if they know what would their decision be.

It's been nearly 24 hours and Gina is now worried as to what would happen if Ric doesn't gain his consciousness. Even if she operated so well along with other experienced doctors, she is a hell of terrified due to her inexperience in such things.

It's because she has never performed such surgeries where the patient has been shot at several places and with many cuts all over their body. She has never imagined even in her wildest dreams thought that the first person she treated would be the man she loves.

She sat beside Ric's bed holding his hand and taking in his features. All his body is covered in bandages and many wires have been connected to him. All of a sudden unknowingly she started to say all those things she wanted to say to him whenever she came here but couldn't say as she couldn't meet him.

"You know when I came here for holidays 7 years ago I was so determined to meet you and talk to you that I started following you silently without making my presence get noticed. That's when for the first time I saw you killing someone without mercy. You didn't even think a second before taking his life. And that's where you dropped your chain whose other half is with me" She went on saying everything to him.

"How naive of you to think that I would not know if you come to the university to see me secretly. I knew that you were there looking at me all along. I just want you to feel that you can see me whenever you want as you wish. In that way, even I was happy that I get to see you every few weeks" Gina chuckled reminiscing the memories.

"Have you ever wondered why I never had a boyfriend when many asked me out or proposed to me?? You know every time someone approaches me the only thing that comes into my mind is you. Maybe that's when I realized that you are not just any attraction or crush but the person I love. And no one can be you for me. But I was always insecure that you might have someone else in your life but even that insecurity was gone after what I saw yesterday.

Flashback

Gina was moving around the mansion after meeting her family and spending time with them. Her heart is not content as she wants to see Ric so bad. She was walking in the corridors of the mansion looking around as she never came here after Ric took over and started staying here.

While looking around and walking she accidentally bumped into someone. Gina looked at the person who has her face caked with makeup and barely wearing anything.

"Can't you see where you are going??" The girl shrieked.

"Excuse me?? Do you know whom you are speaking with??" Gina questioned crossing her arms.

"I don't care whoever you are. Why would the future Queen cares about someone??" Saying that she walked away to the room which everyone knows that it's Ric's. Those words broke Gina's heart into millions of pieces.

"Future Queen??" Gina whispered and she decided to confront Ric himself directly. She wiped away the tears she didn't know flowed and composed herself.

She mentally prepared herself to come face to face with the worst nightmare of her life. She gave herself a pep talk as to how she should speak and to not break down in front of him.

She slowly walked towards the door and unlocked it using her fingerprint and opened it silently. She peeped in and found no one in the office. She understood where he could be.

Ric's office room has two parts partitioned by a thin wall and curtains. On one side is the typical office and the other side has a couch, chairs, and fridge along with a minibar.

Gina moved into the office and she regretted entering inside as all her confidence she had before evaporated as soon as she heard Ric's moans. She was shocked beyond words. She was brought out of shock when Ric growled one last time in pleasure. She was about to walk out but stopped when she heard a thud sound.

"How many times do I need to remind you that you are only here to give me a blowjob and never allowed to touch me?? You bitch!!!" Gina couldn't understand what was actually happening so she moved more towards the partition.

"Why don't you ever let me touch you, My Lord?? Why don't you ever sleep with me??" A feminine voice spoke.

There was silence for a few seconds before Gina could hear the girl panting.

"What do you think of yourself huh?? Do you dare to question me back?? Let me make one thing clear. No one I mean no one can touch me except Gina. And she will be the Queen. MY QUEEN!!!" Ric spoke in his usual cold tone.

"Be happy that I don't kill women. And never ever show your face again" Thud sound can be heard again. Gina moved away quickly out of the room even before Ric could see her.

Tears rolled down her cheeks but this time there were of happiness and she is smiling fully.

Flashback ends

"I just want YOU to tell me what you feel for me. Please wake up Ric. I want you. Don't do this to me. Please don't do this" Gina broke down and started crying uncontrollably.

"I love you. I love you, Ric. More than you think. Please wake up"

"If I need to get this badly injured and end up in a hospital bed to hear these words from you, I would have done this long ago"

Gina looked up hearing the whispers to see Ric looking back at her. She stood up abruptly wiping her tears and was about to walk out to call for a doctor when she was held back by Ric.

"Where are you going??" Ric asked in a low voice.

"To call the doctor" Gina answered.

"But before that, you don't want an answer??" Ric asked and Gina looked confused.

Ric smirked looking at her confused face. Gina understood what he was mentioning and her cheeks turned red. She didn't expect the first time when she expresses her feelings to turn out to be like this.

"Come here" Ric spoke pointing towards the space beside him on the bed. "NOW!!"

Gina slowly walked towards him shyly and scooted beside him and he instantly wrapped his right arm around her waist and pulled her closer. Even if it hurts him, he couldn't care less as his love is near him, in his arms.

"So what's your answer??" Gina whispered now facing him.

"You didn't see that then??" Ric asked and Gina looked confused.

"Look what??" Gina asked.

"This" Ric said showing his left hand. Gina didn't understand at first but what she saw next made her dumbfounded. He had her name tattooed on the ring finger.

"If there is anyone who can be my wife, then it's you, Mi Amore," Ric spoke leaning in and Gina leaned towards Ric until their lips connected.
