"Nothing can-" Everything around them changed and even before girls could comprehend what actually happened darkness took over them.

When Sarah opened her eyes she immediately closed them shut due to the intensity of light. Then all the incidents that happened flashed across her eyes.

Spending time together......Rose confession........and everything went black.

She shot open her eyes and took in her surroundings. She was tied up to a chair in a room which looks like a basement. She looked around to find her friends still unconscious.

"Lily...Ruby...Rose...." She tried to wake them up and Lily is the first one to gain her consciousness followed by others after some time.

"What happened?? Where are we??" Lily asked looking around.

"Oh, my poor Lily...you are still too innocent to not guess that you are kidnapped" A very familiar voice for Lily and Sarah boomed across the room. A silhouette can be seen standing at the door.

"Why don't you show your face and talk??" Sarah spoke in a challenging tone.

"Isn't this the lady who faked her death speaking??" The person spoke.

"So you are a Coward, I see" Sarah diverted the topic contemplating as to who it could be who knew about her.

"Diverting the topic huh??" The person soon came into view moving towards them.

"Aunt Katy??" Lily and Sarah spoke in unison.

"In flesh and bones" The lady smirked.

"You are in Mafia??" Lily asked shocked.

"When you can be a part of this then why can't I be?? Especially when I am born into this" Her words left everyone shocked.

Lily and Sarah couldn't believe the nanny who took care of them since their childhood in the day-care center is the one behind all this. They both loved her so much that they used to meet her regularly even after started going to school until they came to Italy.

"So you are the one behind all this. You are the one who wants to kill us??" Sarah asked controlling her rage.

"I never wanted to kill you" Katy's eyes soften for a moment before turning back to the cold ones. "I just wanted to take what's mine. Which I deserve"

"Really??" Sarah started laughing madly "If you never wanted to kill us, why did you let Antonio kill my child when he came to know I was pregnant??" Sarah asked after controlling her laughs.

"You were pregnant??" Katy asked shocked.

"Don't act like you don't know" Sarah spoke in a cold emotionless voice.

"No, I really don't know anything about you being pregnant. Antonio never mentioned this to me. If I have known I would never-" She was cut off by the loud thud sound.

Even before she could react Alex's Men filled the room and the Elites walked in next including Andre and John who came early to surprise Ruby.

But when he came to know that they were missing he couldn't control himself. They left as soon as they traced the location.

"Katherine??" Andre received a huge shock in his life. He felt as if the earth beneath has crumbled. He lost his balance and was steadied by Alex.

"WHAT??" Everyone looked shocked at this revelation.

"I thought you would not recognize me, not after all these years when I changed my looks and all" Katy aka Katherine spoke.

"Aunt Katherine?? No, it can't be. I still remember her face" John said not believing what he just saw.

"Oh, my poor boy. It's me. Aunt Katherine"

"How can it be??" Andre asked slowly recovering from the shock.

"Me being alive?? Or me kidnapping these young girls??" Katherine spoke with venom laced voice.

Alex's men started to release the girls and soon Sarah stood face to face with Katherine. Unknown emotions flooded through both of them but none of them wanted to express that.

"Mother?? Seriously Dad?? How can you even think that this woman can be our mother??" Sarah's voice is now filled with hatred and anger. "She is the reason I lost my baby"

"NO, I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU WERE PREGNANT!!!" Katherine lost her cool when she was being falsely alleged by her own daughter. "Do you really think that low of me??" Her voice softened with the hurt she is feeling.

"Why do you care about what I feel about you??" Sarah couldn't be angry at Katy or Katherine even if she wants to, not when she came to know that she is her mother.

Katherine has always showered her with motherly love which made Sarah never feel deprived of mother love. But now all she wanted was answers from her mother.

"Because you are my daughter. My little one" Katherine moved towards Sarah but her daughter whom she loves the most moved back. It broke her heart.

"Then why did you leave?? Why did you change your identity?? And WHY DID YOU KIDNAP YOUR OWN DAUGHTER??" Sarah yelled at her mother.

Everyone else in the room remained silent while carefully hearing the mother and daughter's conversation. Everyone is confused why Sarah is behaving so cold to her mother.

But Alex knew that something must be going on in Sarah's mind.

"I never left you. Why do you think I became a nanny when I can lead my own life?? Why do you think I always spent time with you??" Katherine sounded desperate "You, My Love. YOU!!"

"Then what's all this?? Why did you fake your death and broke the family??" Alex questioned this time.

"Because I wanted to be equal to Andre but not just his wife" Andre looked bewildered at this statement.

"When David adopted me and treated me as his own, I came to know about this world and how it works. Daniel made sure I get trained along with him and I became strong. So strong that I can compete with any man in this world. I always hoped that one day I will be powerful too. But one day David told me that I will be married to the heir of the Italian mafia which will be proved beneficial to both the mafia. So I got married to Andre with whom I fell in love the very first time I saw him. He has everything I wanted in a man. He is strong, powerful, and smart. He gave me everything except one. Love. He treated me like his wife but never as his equal with whom he can share his love and Power"

Andre was left stunned by this revelation.

"We had a beautiful family. I was convinced by the fact that he is a cold-hearted leader who can't love someone. But he can care for and protect the ones that are close to him. After a few years of our marriage, I came to know that Daniel had feelings for me and he wanted me to come back. But I rejected him right away saying that I loved Andre. I never thought that this would rage him so much that he would try to kill us. But Sofia and Matteo died in the accident which was meant for us"

Andre's eyes brimmed with tears hearing the truth. Even Katherina couldn't hold back and started weeping. After some time she controlled herself and continued speaking.

"Daniel didn't even care about the alliance both the gangs had. He never thought what would happen when Andre comes to know about it. And after a few months, he attacked again when Sarah was born. But at that time the men we had were not enough to fight them back and I wanted Andre to save Sarah and you guys, so I just sent him away. I was shot and somehow I am managed to kill Daniel to avenge Sofia's death. Later, I escaped from there even before the fire exploded due to the petrol leak. I was admitted to a hospital and got treated. I was unconscious for a week and later I got to know that everyone thought I was dead in that accident. And I also came to know Andre is MIA and no one knows about Sarah. So I decided to fake my death and started searching for her. After 2 years, I found her in London and I started working as a nanny in her daycare center. As she started growing I saw how smart she is. I thought she would make a better leader than anyone has seen. I wanted to tell her the truth once she is mature enough to understand everything. But she came into this unknowingly. I tried to contact her so many times but failed miserably. So I took the help of Germans who lost their gang to you and kidnapped her. I accept I kidnapped you but I did it only for your good"

Katherine spoke the last line looking at Sarah who still has her poker face. But the very next moment she was embraced with the warmth of her daughter. Katherine broke down at this. Sarah provided the comfort her mother needed at that moment.

"I always get haunted by this thought that I could have stayed and saved you both instead of Sarah alone" Andre spoke gathering his voice which he thought he lost all this while. He walked towards the mother and daughter and hugged his wife tight to make sure that she is here and not a dream.

"What about us?? You haven't thought of us at least once??" Stephan spoke with his voice breaking by each word he spoke.

"You really think I never thought of you all?? I had to make a decision then. It is either you all or her. I know you all are in safe hands but Sarah, she is all alone over there. So I made a choice even if it was hard. You all had Andre until you grew up and Alexander as your guide later but she didn't"

"But why haven't you come back when you were recovered?? Why have you faked your death??" Alex asked.
