"I also want to claim what's mine. I want to be the leader instead of him" Sarah said pointing towards Alex.

"What??" Alex blurted out. "Are you out of your mind??"

"I am perfectly fine and I know what I am asking for. Remember you are the one who told me that you may be a King but I deserve to be a Queen. And I have 30% shares on me. So why can't I be the one??" Sarah asked.

"But...." Andre was out of words and he can't understand what to say.

"What Dad?? Give me one good reason as to why I can't be the leader?? Any one of you" Everyone remained silent including Alex as they don't have one.

Everyone in the room knows how capable Sarah is. They know that she is both strong and a mastermind. It would definitely be a great thing for her to be the Queen.

"I know that you don't have one. Invite every shareholder to the ball. It will be decided there itself" Sarah said walking towards Alex. "And I want to compete with you genuinely infront of everyone"

"Fine!!! Do as she says" Alex left the room and moved towards his mansion with a light smile on his face. No one can see that unless observed carefully.

He reached his room and locked it from inside. After a few minutes, he could hear some movements in the closet. In a swift movement, he moved towards the sound and held the intruder captive.

"What made you think that you can enter my room as you wish??" Alex yelled.

"Last time I checked this is our room. And I can come into this room as I wish" The intruder replied back.

"Aren't you the one who asked for divorce?? I thought you don't want anything related to me" Alex spoke in a low voice in Sarah's ear which caused goosebumps all over her body.

Sarah couldn't move or speak for a while as she is still in the trance Alex cast on her unknowingly.

"Ahem..." Alex fake coughed which brought Sarah out of her trance.

"Uh...Last time I checked we are still husband and wife. So I can come into this room whenever I want" Sarah tried to act confident. "Moreover I came here to get something that is mine"

"What could that be??" Alex raised an eyebrow playing along with her.

"Whatever it is, it doesn't concern you" Sarah moved away and started to search for nothing.

"Why don't you drop this act Sarah??" Alex crossed his arms across his chest and leaned onto the wall beside him.

Sarah sighed as she knows that she can't do anything without Alex knowing about it. She turned around and walked towards him and held his locked arms.

"I just came to check on you. I know whatever I spoke or happened before is unexpected to all, even you. I should have told you before ab-" She was cut off by an unexpected passionate kiss from Alex.

Even before she can register what was happening Alex encircled her waist and pulled her closer to him. After a while, both of them parted away for air.

"Did I ask you why??" Alex asked joining their foreheads.

"But-" He placed a finger to stop her.

"Shhh...I know. Maybe I can't think as quick as you but I can definitely understand what's going on in that little brain of yours" Alex chuckled looking at her pout.

None of them spoke for a while enjoying each other company lost in each other. Sarah moved away and started to walk backward still facing Alex.

"I think it's Mother and son's time now" She winked at him and moved out of the room before he can reach her.

As soon as she stepped out of the room smile on her face vanished seeing Stephan and Sebastian infront of her. She stood rooted to her spot not knowing what to say. She is caught red-handed by her brothers. There is no use in lying anymore but she can't say the truth too.

"Are you going to say any-" Stephan couldn't complete his sentence as Alex came out of the room.

He understood what might have happened based on the look on Sarah's face.

"Can we speak about this inside??" Alex left no room for discussion and went inside his room. Soon trio joined him.

"Fratello. What-" This time Bash was cut in the midsentence by Alex.

"Just remember that whatever we are doing right now is in the best of everyone. I don't want anyone else to know what you saw before." Alex spoke in his authorative tone.

Stephan and Sebastian knew better than to question their brother anymore. They even knew that Alex never does something that is wrong for them. So they decided to stay silent. But Stephan couldn't stop himself from asking the next question.

"So you both are not getting divorced?? It's all an act??"

Sarah chuckled listening to the question. She didn't think that her family would actually believe when she thought of speaking about divorce.

"Un re non può essere un re senza la forza della sua Regina" Alex said with a smirk.

The duo left the room silently with a satisfied smile on their faces. Sarah too followed them soon and went straight to her son who just woke up from his sleep and started to create havoc.

Lily and Rose are trying their best to calm him down but it seems Ric is not in the mood to listen to anyone except his parents. As soon as he saw Sarah he came running to her and hugged her legs.

"You were right when you said he behaves as 4-5-year-old" Lily laughed at her own words looking at the mess the 18-month-old toddler created. But that laugh was cut short as she felt the urge to vomit.

She rushed into the washroom nearby and threw up. Sarah immediately followed her bestfriend and helped her. She also checked and inquired about her health.

"You are pregnant" Sarah squealed in excitement.

"What??" Lily was shocked at the sudden revelation. But it didn't take much time for her to realize that she didn't get her periods this month. Not just that she didn't get her periods in the last 3 months.

"I am" Tears rolled down Lily's cheeks knowing that she is going to be a mother. She hugged Sarah tightly which is equally reciprocated by her friend.

"OMG!!! I can't wait to see how Stephan is going to react when he knows he is going to be a father" Sarah's words made Lily hesitant about saying this to Stephan.

She is not sure how Stephan is going to react. She doesn't even know if he is ready to be a father. A number of questions and insecurities flooded her brain and she couldn't think straight.

"I need some time Sarah. But I promise I will tell him about this soon"

Sarah understood the inner turmoil that might be going on in Lily's mind.

"I know what you are thinking" Lily looked at Sarah."You are not sure if Stephan wants this baby or not. Isn't it??"

Lily nodded her head amused. "How??"

"Remember I am already a mother" Lily chuckled while nodding. "Even I went through the same dilemma when I came to know I was pregnant. But trust me in this. As much as I know about them I am sure Stephan will be on the top of the world when he will come to know about this" Sarah reassured Lily.

"But I need to confirm this" Lily said after thinking for a while.

"It's all good then. Today we will be having some quality girls' time and then we will get a kit from the pharmacy while returning. Is that ok??"

Lily agreed with her and soon they informed Rose and Ruby about their plan. Ruby returned mansion yesterday after meeting her parents. John will be coming to Rome tomorrow as the Ball this year is going to be held in a week.

Sarah informed Andre about their dayout plan and asked to take care of her son. Andre has to agree with them as the four girls literally blackmailed him emotionally.

But Andre being a protective father sent a team of members to follow them secretly. He knows Sarah is not going to like this when she comes to know about but he did anyway.

While the girls unaware of the men following them as security are having their own time. First, they reached a pharmacy to get a pregnancy kit.

Lily can't wait until they reach home so she took the test in the public washroom itself. When the result turned out to be positive girls are more than happy and decided to celebrate this.

Soon they reached a Cafe and spent time together catching up on one another.

"IthinkIamseeingsomeone" Rose said in a single breath. The trio looked at her confused.

"Take a deep breath and now say again slowly" Ruby spoke.

"I think I am seeing someone" Rose said smiling sheepishly.

"Don't tell me it's Bash" Sarah spoke.

"How do you know??" Rose asked bewildered.

"Maybe you kept it a secret but the way you both steal glances with each other says it all" Sarah said calmly sipping her lemonade.

"Is it so clear??" Rose asked looking at Lily and Ruby. The duo shook their heads in no.

"Nothing can-" Everything around them changed and even before girls could comprehend what actually happened darkness took over them.
