Sarah leaned and closes the distance between their lips as they closed the distance between their souls.

Flashback continues

Sarah and Alex are enjoying themselves in the embrace of each other silently until Alex decided to break the silence.

"Is there something else you need to tell me??"

"Ugh!! Why can't I hide something from you?? How can you read me so well??"

"So, what is it??"

Sarah took out something from her jacket. "I found this with Micheal"

Alex was shocked looking at the chain with a pendant in Sarah's hands. They wouldn't have cared if it's any other pendant. That pendant which is a Lion made of Gold is none other than their family's.

"Is this why you asked not to tell anyone else??" Alex asked after he composed himself.

"Yes. Whoever it is, they must be one of us" A lone tear escaped Sarah's eyes thinking of who could be the one that betrayed their own blood.

Alex wiped her tear. "I promise you. Whoever is behind this, I will not leave them. Not after killing one of our children."

Sarah couldn't say anything but keep silent. But her mind has been flooded with a number of thoughts.

Who could this be??

How would Dad react to this betrayal??

What happens when they find out who is behind all this??

She couldn't even find peace in Alex's arms which always provided her warmth and comfort.

As they planned, Sarah and Alex left for Poland. Alex comes back every few weeks to fake his presence known in the room. Six months passed and Sarah is near her due.

"Where is your pendant?" Sarah asked looking at the pendant in her hands.

"In my locker" Alex asked looking confused.

"Then what about others' pendants??"

"Safe wit-" Alex stopped in midway when Sarah screamed grabbing his hand.

"What happened??" Alex asked panic clear in his voice.

"My water broke" Sarah said taking deep breaths.

"What?? Isn't your due next week??"

"What are you talking about?? We need to go to the hospital"

"Yeah yeah" Alex said scooping her into her arms and leading her to the car. He slowly placed her in the front seat carefully.

"Hospital bag. Get that" Sarah said buckling her seatbelt.

Alex rushed inside and took the Hospital bag Sarah has already arranged last week in such an emergency. He soon locked the house and got into the car and started driving slowly.

"Can't you drive anymore faster??" Sarah yelled at him as another contraction hit her.

"Yeah, I am going" He said slowly increasing his speed.

Soon they reached the nearby hospital and Sarah is taken into the operation theatre after changing her clothes.

"Come on, Push harder" Doctor said.

"Come on baby girl, you can-" He was cut off the slap he received.

"Don't baby girl me.....Ahhhhh...This is all because of you" Sarah spoke pushing hard.

"One last harder push.... we can see the baby" Doctor spoke once again.

Sarah took a deep breath and pushed using all her strength. Her screams were replaced by the baby crying.

"It's a boy" Doctor said taking out the baby and handing him to the nurse for cleaning. After some time, the Nurse came back with a baby wrapped in a white blanket. She handed over the baby to Alex whose are trembling out of fear of hurting the tiny baby in his arms.

"Il Mio Ragazzo" Tears rolled down his cheeks looking at the baby. (My boy)

Sarah smiled looking at Alex. Alex handed over the baby to her while he slowly opened his eyes.

"He got your eyes" Sarah said looking at his blue eyes.

"Yeah" Alex said kissing both mother and son's foreheads.

"Thank you amore mio. Thank you so much. You made me complete."

"I love you" Sarah said pecking his lips.

"I love you too" Alex spoke joining their foreheads.

Their moment was broken by the nurse coming with some papers.

"Sir, Have you come up with a name for the baby??" She asked.

"Yes, we have" Sarah said with a smile looking towards Alex.

"Alaric, ALARIC ALEXANDER DE LUCA" Alex said looking at his son with love and pride in his eyes.

Alex came back to the mansion completely a few weeks ago as Sarah persuaded him to get to know about the one who betrayed them soon so that he can bring her back.

Now he is in his office room along with his brothers and his padre. Alex feels helpless looking at them. Every one of them became the heartless monsters they were before.

But now, they have been cold always. Even when they are alone no one speaks a word unless it's work-related issues. Stephan seems quite better than the rest. Maybe because of Lily.

It is as if Sarah has taken away the warmth of their hearts with her. Even if he wanted to say them that Sarah is alive he couldn't. Even he has been acting more colder and ruthless.

"Why did you call us all of sudden Fratello. Did something happen??" Stephan asked.

"Yeah, I called all of you as I want to say something. Do you all remember this??" Alex asked showing his pendant to everyone.

"Yes, we have been given this by padre to all of us when we took over after him."Nikolai said, "But what about it now??"

"Actually I wanted to make some changes in this if you all guys agree."

"What kind of changes Fratello??" Damon asked.

"I just wanted to add our names behind it indicating their owner and I wanted them to be the key to access our confidentialities. What do you think padre??" Alex turned towards Andre.

"That's a really good idea. But why do want to do this out of blue??" Andre asked looking suspicious.

"I don't know padre. Today I found this in my locker and I got this idea. So I thought to discuss this with everyone" Alex said with a cold expression so that Andre couldn't sense his nervousness.

"Fine, I agree on this with you." Andre put his opinion in front of everyone.

"So, if you guys are okay with it, go and bring your pendants too" Alex said placing his pendant in his box.

Everyone left the room leaving Alex and Andre alone.

"What happened??" Andre asked.

"Nothing padre" Alex said sounding polite not wanting to make Andre more suspicious.

"If you think, you can lie to me on my face, remember one thing-" Andre stood up from his seat and walked towards Alex and placed a hand on his shoulder "- I am not your brothers to believe whatever you say. You know why I made you the KING instead of Stephan when he is my heir??" Alex shook his head.

"Stephan maybe my son and heir to this, but you are my real heir in all aspects. You have taken over me in all qualities. And I know very well that something has happened. So what is it you are hiding from everyone??" Alex stood up from his chair and made Andre sit in it. He sat on his knees in front of Andre.

"Padre, Whatever I am right now is because of you. So, I never want to lie to you or to any of them. But, I really can't tell anyone what happened. Please give me some time. When I find out what actually happened, I myself will tell you. Please trust me in this, padre"

Andre made Alex stand up by his shoulders and signaled him to sit in his chair.

"I trust you. If I don't, I would have never made you King. I trust you with my life Alexander, that I didn't even think a second when Sarah said she wanted you." A lone tear escaped Andre's eyes.

"I know padre. And I promise you that I will never break this trust of yours.-" Even before Alex could continue further the brothers came into the room.

"Here Fratello, as you said" Steve placed the box in his hands on the desk in front of Alex.

Others also did the same with their boxes which have their names printed on them.

"You all may leave now, I will give your pendants back once they are customized." Alex said and everyone left

Andre was about to leave when Alex stopped him." Padre, can you stay for a while??"

Andre nodded and sat on the sofa in the room. Alex took the boxes and placed them on the table in between them and opened them.

"How can all of them look so similar padre??" Alex asked looking confused as he found all of them similar.

"Because all of them are made by the same one. I wanted all of them to be identical"

"They are identical indeed. So where is he now?" Alex asked.

"He dies 10 years ago even before I retired. But why about him now??" Andre asked trying to understand why Alex is behaving weirdly.

"Just like that, padre. I thought it would have been better if I get these changed by him. Is there any chance that someone else knows about these pendants??"

"Why are you doing all this Alexander?? Why are so interested in these pendants all of a sudden?? What about the one who made them??" Andre asked anger rising by the end.

"Padre, believe me, this once. I can't tell you anything right now. I just wanted to know everything about these pendants. That's it" Alex said trying to calm him down.

"Then listen boy, I lied to you. No one made those pendants. I am the one who made them"

"What??" Alex asked shocked by the revelation.

"Yes. I made those pendants every time someone is born into our family. And you know why I made those pendants??" Alex shook his head.

"The thing you wanted to do now, to make these pendants key to our confidentialities, I have done it long ago. They are already keys to access our family's complete information"

Alex sat silently trying to take in all the information he just heard.

"So you made seven pendants?? One for each one??"

"I think you didn't get what I said. I made one each for everyone of this family which makes them eight!!"
