"Then it's time for everyone to know who The Real King is!!"

Flashback

Micheal seems to be lost in his deep thoughts while Sarah slowly entered the room which was filled with different weapons on all the walls. She slowly took a gun from the wall adjacent to her and checked it to be loaded. She smirked at this.

His back was facing her and she aimed his shoulder and shot with a silencer on. He screamed in pain at this sudden action and before he could reach to warn others she shot his hand and moved across him.

"You BITCH!!" He screamed and tried to stand up and then she shot him again in his knees. He screamed again.

"This is what you get for killing my child." She said for which Micheal started laughing loudly.

"You are talking about the child whose father doesn't even care about you and lied to you for your money and trapped you and cheated you. Isn't it ironic??"

Now it's Sarah's turn to laugh. Micheal looked confused.

"What made you think whatever he said to you was true??" Sarah said moving around him in a circular motion.

"If I am not wrong he spoke exactly how I want him to." Michael furrowed his eyebrows not understanding what exactly she meant.

"Why do you think Alex has been the KING irrespective of the number of gangs trying to get him?? That's because we have everything sorted out. We have a solution for every problem we think we could face. And one such is the present situation when one of us gets kidnapped. And we never admit our weakness out loud do we??" Sarah smirked and Micheal realized what she said.

"And now I want you to tell me who is behind you?? I mean your leader??"

"What do you mean by leader?? I am the leader" Micheal said stuttering.

"Tsk..tsk...that's where you are mistaken. Thinking that I am a fool. But no worries. We will soon find your leader. Very soon." Sarah said and shot between his eyes.

She looked around to find time bombs grenades as well. She smirked and took a time bomb in her hands and set it to 15 minutes. Right when she was about to move out of the room her eyes caught something!!

She took two guns in case someone attacks her and silently walked to the left. And as she moved forward she saw multiple doors and she assumed one of them to be the exit or entrance through which she can move before the bomb goes off.

She reached one door and placed an ear and heard several men talking to one another. And then she opened another door to find an empty corridor which lead to a garage with a number of cars at the end. She immediately reached the keys hanging there and randomly picked one and pressed the button and heard the car in front of her unlock.

She instantly scooted in and started the car and moved out looking for the exit which she found easily and drive out as fast as she could. She know the clock would be ticking by now and stopped the car and turned behind to see the old warehouse now in flames. She smirked as the flames there resemble the flames inside her.

On the other hand, as Alex and the rest reached the warehouse, Alex's heart dropped at the scene in front of him. The warehouse where his wife was there is now in flames. His world around him spun and soon he collapsed onto the ground and darkness surrounded him just as the darkness surrounding his life.

When he opened his eyes he found himself in his room on his bed. He looked around to see it was daytime to be precise afternoon. Then the last night's events came back to him and the beast in him came out.

He thrashed everything in his room and locked himself in. He couldn't hold it in him anymore and tears started flowing down his cheeks. He felt like his heart has been cut into millions of pieces.

He didn't want to accept it but he lost his love. He lost the only woman he loved in his life. He lost his unborn baby who was supposed to be the symbol of their love.

He sobbed uncontrollably and passed out. This might be the first time he has ever cried for someone. That someone was his love. The one who tamed the beast in him.

"Alex" He heard his lover's voice. He slowly opened his eyes to see the face which brings joy to his heart. There she is ruffling his hair while his head is in her lap.

"Sarah??" Alex said but it came out as a whisper. He couldn't believe that his woman is here in front of him. Alive!!

"Is that you??" He asked still doubtful. Sarah nodded her head and was taken into a bone-crushing hug by her husband.

"I thought I lost you" He said crying his heart out.

"Oops!! Your bad. You are stuck with me in this life." Sarah said and Alex let out a chuckle.

"But how??" Alex asked confused and Sarah said everything. Alex's eyes were blood-red when he comes to know that his baby was dead.

"THAT BASTARD, ONLY IF HE WAS ALIVE I WOULD KILL HIM IN COLD BLOOD WITH MY OWN HANDS FOR KILLING MY BABY" Alex couldn't control himself anymore.

"But still you are going to be a father" Sarah said with a sad smile on her face.

"What do you mean??" Alex asked.

"Today morning when I visited a clinic I came to know about this. I don't know if it's a happy thing or not but we were pregnant not with one but twins and one of them died due to impact last night and other one was alive" Sarah said and a sob escaped her mouth.

Alex couldn't say anything and took her in his arms providing her the comfort which she needs the most now. She cried in his arms until her tears dried out.

"Our baby Alex. He killed our baby. And I killed him." Sarah said sniffling.

"You did the right thing baby girl. Life for life." Alex said in his infamous cold voice.

"But we still need to find their leader" Sarah and Alex looked at her confused.

"Actually before he called you someone called him and ordered him to negotiate a deal with you for something in return of me. That's when he called you and you cut the call even before he get a chance to bring up the deal. And I think that someone is behind us." Sarah spoke.

"But who can it be??" Alex started to think of various people who can plot against them. "Can it be John??"

"No I don't think so. But whoever it is definitely knows about us." Sarah took a deep breath and continued. "I think we should continue to let everyone believe that I actually died."

Alex understood what she meant. "What about our family??Do you want them to know??"

"No. I don't want anyone to know about me except you. And I am thinking of leaving this country and go to some other place where I and our baby can be safe" Sarah said.

"Where you do want to go??"Alex asked after thinking for a long time.

"I am thinking of moving to Poland. It's one of those countries where there would be no Mafia. And the government rules it still even if they support you. So I want to make a fake identity of mine and go there."

"Do you think this will work?? And how long are you going to stay there??" Alex said cupping her cheeks.

"I don't think we have another option. I think this is the best for our child's safety. And you can get me back when you think you found the one."

"But I don't want to leave you alone. Especially in this state. I want to be with you" Alex eyes displayed the sadness imagining her away from him.

"Then you can come with me until I give birth but disguised. Let the world believe you are grieving and locked yourself in your room."

"Fine!! But how do we find the one who was behind us??"

"That I don't know. But whoever it is, they are definitely hiding somewhere or disguised themselves." Sarah sighed in frustration.

"Don't stress yourself. We will find them sooner or later. But we will" Alex said and scooped her in his arms and placed her on the bed.

He tucked her and laid beside her and pulled her into his embrace and covered them in duvet. He laid his head in her crook and she played with his hairs.

"You don't know how I felt when I saw the warehouse in flames." Alex said inhaling her scent calming himself down.

They laid in each others embrace silently when Alex decided to cut the silence.

"How can we go unnoticed by anyone??"

"The same way I came in" Sarah let out a chuckle. "The one where there was no surveillance camera and that takes you to the outskirts of the city from your room."

"I still don't understand how can your brain works so amazing even in difficult situations" Alex said amused.

"Naturally gifted. But there was this one person in whose presence my brain stops working. That person makes my brain go all fussy and even my brain works on his command."

Alex raised an eyebrow asking her as to who that person is.

"And that person is the man I love the most in this world more than anyone. My husband"

Sarah leaned in and closes the distance between their lips as they closed the distance between their souls.
