"I am pregnant??" I couldn't listen my own voice.

Tears rolled down my cheeks. This could either be the best or worst thing for me. I am not sure if Alex wants this. Even I don't know myself if I am ready for this. What if he doesn't?? What if he is not ready for this?? What if his padre doesn't approve of me and this baby?? Will he leave me??

I couldn't think of this more as today is the day. The Ball. I threw the stick in dustbin and pushed my thoughts away as I need to focus on today more. This is going to be the most important day for us.

The day Alex is going to take over Russia. The day he is going to reveal himself as the KING.The day he is going to be a complete ruler.

According to our plan I need to distract John. So I just went out to his flat and knocked on the door.

"Hey!!" I greeted him as he opened the door.

"Hey??" He said. He looks really tired may be due to lack of sleep.

"So I was wondering if we can go somewhere for lunch as I am hungry and I am in no mood to cook now" I asked looking hopefully at him.

"Yeah!! Of course we can" He said. "Just give me a minute"

"Okay!! I will be waiting for you downstairs then" I said and he nodded.

I reached downstairs and the cab soon arrived. Not a minute longer he came. He looked confused seeing me hopping into the cab.

"Today it's my treat. So I will be the one taking you out!!" I said to which he shook his head smiling and settled.

"So where are we going now??" He asked.

"I came to know that there is this restaurant of KING'S chain where the best Italian food is made. I always wanted to go but never did as I didn't have someone to come along with. So as you are coming I thought of going there" I said sounding excited.

He looked hesitant after hearing the name of the place but soon composed himself. He didn't say anything but just nodded.

We reached the restaurant after 15min drive. It's one of the lavish restaurants Alex and his family owns. We entered and settled ourselves in one of the tables near window. He started typing something on his phone and I snatched it from his hand.He first got furious but after looking at me he controlled himself and looked confused.

"I didn't ask you to accompany me so that you can do something on your mobile" I said keeping a serious face on. He smiled and raised his hands in air surrendering.

I put his phone aside and we gave our orders. We ate speaking about random things. At last a waiter came in with wine in his hand. This is it!! This indicates that they were successful in their mission and I need to get John now.

The waiter started to pour wine in our glasses. "We didn't order the wine??" I informed him.

"I am sorry ma'am. I was said that I need to serve this wine to a couple sitting at the window" He explained.

"Oh it's okay!! That couple may be them" I said pointing at the couple sitting at the next table of ours who are actually Stephan and Lily. Stephan is having his back to John so they couldn't see each other.

Lily was also included with us as Stephan and I both trust her and moreover she was made a part of our family and will be an Elite once Alex's padre approves of us.

"Yes!! Sorry for the inconvenience ma'am" he said and left.

"I think I need to use restroom. Can you come along??" I said looking uncomfortable as I was getting all kind of creepy stares throughout by our men again.

"Yeah!! Come on" He said following me. I am relieved that he didn't bring his mobile along.

As I went inside the restroom, I waited for Lily to come so we could go ahead with our plan. And Lily arrived on point as we decided. Soon we did as we planned.

"Ahhhhhhhhh" I screamed hoping John will be barging in and he did just as I thought.

"What?? What happened??" He said holding his gun. As soon as he looked at me he lowered the gun and came towards me lying on the floor. He sat on his knees to my level and searched for injuries.

"I am sorry!! I didn't mean to do this to you!! I am sorry!! I really am" I said honestly as I know Lily is going to sedate him from behind as I keep him looking at me.

"What are you say-Ahhh" he turned around to get hold of Lily but she was fast enough to empty the syringe into him. We gave a large amount of sedative to him as we came to know that he was resistive to normal amounts.

"I am sorry John, I have to do this!!" I said taking his gun from him and hit him on his head. He fell into my arms unconscious."Go get others fast" I said Lily. Lily immediately got Stephan and we took him into the SUV through the backdoor.We tied his hands and legs and started moving towards our destination.

I don't know why but I don't feel like the thing I am doing is right. I can't let him get killed. Not because of me. If he dies today, I will be the only reason for his death. And I can't take that. I need to do something. Anything that he will be alive.

"Are you okay??" Lily asked looking concerned.

No I am not okay. Not at all!!

"Yeah...I am fine!!" I said.

"Do you really think we will buy that??" Stephan asked.

I couldn't hold myself anymore. I burst into tears. "I don't feel good. If he dies today I can't get over the guilt that he died because of me. I don't want him to die. Not today atleast" Stephan hugged me and started drawing circles on my back and it helped me in calming down.

"Shhhh...it's okay!! There is nothing we can do now. And it's just a part of our plan. Right??" I nodded but I couldn't convince myself. "So stop crying and get ready to face this like a Queen you are!!" He said as the car stopped infront of another mansion.

It is beautifully decorated and is already ready for today's event. The Ball. Every step I take towards it is as dreadful as walking towards the death. I feel hopeless. But all I have now is hope.

Soon we reached to the basement where John is held. Everyone were already present there and John is tied in a chair.

"See who's here?? The only one who has captured this bastard and his heart" Steve spoke and the last part of sentence didn't help me at all but triggered my guilt even more.

"Come on!!" Stephan came towards me and laid a hand on my shoulder and made me walk towards them. It really helped as I didn't think I could walk instead falling on my knees after listening to Steve's words.

"So shall we wake him up??" David asked looking excited. In fact everyone looks excited except for me and Stephan as he knows how I feel. When my eyes met with Alex his gaze changed from excitement to concern. I can't help that he could see right through me.

"I need to talk to her. Alone!!" Alex said and everyone left looking confused as to what he wants to speak to me instead of dealing with John.

"Are you okay??" He asked cupping my cheeks. I shook my head 'no' controlling my tears as I can't lie to him."What's wrong??" He asked.

"Can I ask you something??" I asked and he nodded. "Are you ready to start a family with me and be father of our children??" I asked looking hopefully.

"Of course I am!! I was scared that you wouldn't be ready-" I cut him off.

"I am pregnant!!" I finally said him.

"You are what??" He asked.

"You are going to be a Dad!! If you don't want then-" I couldn't complete the sentence as he smashed his lips on mine and this time his kiss is full of love.

"Of course I want this!! This is mine!!" He said placing his hand possessively and protectively on my belly. "When did you come to know about this??" He asked joining our foreheads.

"Earlier this day!!" I said still not believing that he is happy with this."You are happy with this??"

"I can't even tell you how happy I am. I am the most happiest person in the world right now!!" He said smiling broadly. Thank God!!

"Alex...I want to ask you something??" I was not sure if he is going to do as I ask him to do just because I gave him the good news about me being pregnant with his child.

He wants John dead and I don't want John die because of me. If he dies while fighting with Alex that's another story. I just wanted to get his attention and distract him. But I never wanted John to trust me and love me. This was never a part of my plan.

Everytime I look into John's eyes I can the see the love he has for me. I couldn't ignore that. And I feel more and more guilty whenever our eyes met and when I see the way he looks at me. Though he never said this to me, I know he cares for me and loves me more than anything else.

I definitely can't love him back as he wanted but atleast I could be his friend. I can make this even by not letting him die. I need to do this. No matter what I can't let Alex kill him.

"Anything for you My Queen!!" He said.I took a deep breath controlling all my overflowing thoghts.

"Ummm....Is there any other way for you to rule completely instead of ki-" I was cut off by the others barging in. They looked suprised/terrified/anxious/happy?? I couldn't get what they are feeling now as they have mixed emotions on their faces.

"I think we have an unexpected guest here today!!" Damon spoke. And everyone moved so that we can see the 'Unexpected guest'.

"Dad?!"
