As we reached the basement we passed through the metal door to a huge room where people are questioned hit and tortured to get the information. A man in seems to be in his mid 30's is tied up in a chair. There are no hint of bruises except for those made by the ropes.

"You didn't hit him,Did you??"I asked David.

"First we give him a chance to speak on his own just by threatening. If not then we will go ahead with different techniques." He said.

"Strange!! Umm...Damon can I get complete information about him and his family members!?" I asked Damon.

"We already have them" He said handling me a file. As I went through the file I found few things which I thought could be useful for getting answers. But before that I wanted to find out what David found already.

"What did you get to know from him until now??" I asked David.

"He didn't speak a word except for his stupid smile.From this information I assume he is working for Irish mafia and trying to get a chance before attacking us." He said frustrated as the man whose name is Chris has been silent just smiling wickedly.

"Why do you think he works for Irish mafia just because his father is Irish!?" I said and I glanced at him and found a ring on his ring finger on left hand. Woooooohhhh!!! What do we have here??

As I tried to take the ring from his finger he resisted which simply concluded that this means something to him. As I saw the ring carefully I found something to which I smirked to which all the colour from his face drained. But he composed himself and smiled wickedly to cover his fear.

"What do you think then??" Stephan asked.

"Well he is not just Irish but also German.He is Half-Irish and Half-German as his mother whose details are not mentioned is German. And he will not be speaking anything even if threaten him with his family or torture him"

"So do you accept that you can't make him speak??" Nikolai asked.

"When did I say that??"

"STOP THIS BULLSHIT AND SPEAK WHAT YOU KNOW ALREADY!!!" Alex roared in impatience.

"Okay cool!! He never loved his wife to speak the truth. He married her just for the money her father has.Even after being the only daughter of the rich man she couldn't help but fall in love with this too good actor." I said to which the smile disappeared from Chris' face.

"And the only person who could make him speak is Rose his childhood love whom he loves from past 20 years. If you can get her here he would speak automatically". I said from what I found.

"NOOOOO!!!" Chris finally spoke which confirms what I said. Thanks man.

"How did you find all this??" David asked shocked.

"Well one all the scriptures on his ring are German and according to your information he has never been to another country other than Ireland and Italy. So that makes it clear that his mother could be German as his father is Irish. And two this ring has the name Rose carved inside of the ring with a heart and a date which is 20 years ago. As he treasured it too well it can only indicate one thing." I said with a proud smile on my face.

"So why don't you get the information about Rose from his childhood friends??" I said to the tech guy.

As Damon was about to leave the room, "You can't get anything from me!!" Chris spoke.

"Listen you love boy!! You may act as if you don't care about any one, we both know that you love and care about your Rose. And now you have two choices. One You speak now or two Rose will be brought here and you both go through hell together.And choice is yours" I said looking into his eyes.

"Will you promise me you don't harm her if I say everything??" He finally spoke. He definitely loved her.

As I am in no place to assure him I turned towards Alex for the answer. He simply nodded as if he is agreeing to this.

"I promise that no one from our family will lay a finger on her" I said reassuringly.

"I will say whatever you want" he said. I was so happy that my first investigation was success.

"So as my job is done I think I should leave now!!" I said .

"What!? He didn't say anything yet." Nikolai said as he wanted me to stay.

"He will now. But I don't think I should hear all this as my actual job is managing your accounts." I said as I started leaving the room. I really feel like I shouldn't hear whatever information it is.

As I was about to leave, "You can stay!! We trust you."Alex spoke.

I was more than happy by his words. They actually trust me whom they know only for a week. I can understand how difficult it is for them to trust someone from outside. But they let me in.

"Yes and you are the one who made him speak without spilling blood" Steve spoke.

"Fine!!! Are you going to speak now or not??" I said impatiently pointing Chris.

"I actually work for German Mafia who is an ally with you. But they were never your ally. All they wanted is to have power and are waiting for a chance. They sent me here to be one of your men only to find something which can be useful for them to use it against the KING."

"Like what??" Stephan asked.

"Like any weakness. But I couldn't find one. Because...."

"He never had one." David said.

"Yes. But when I secretly saw KING carrying her to the house I thought she could be one. And when I was about to inform the same to Germans you caught me and you know the rest." I was bewildered at his confession thinking me as Alex's weakness.

"I think your time is over. Any last wishes!?" Steve asked pointing gun at him.

"Nothing more the promise she made." He said as if he was expecting this already.

"Wait!!!" I said as Steve was about pull the trigger.

"Can I do that??" I know I sounded like a bad-ass bitch which I definitely am. Since I was a child I liked action and adventure more than anything else. I even wanted to be a cop for that. But I eventually gave up the idea as I learnt that if was meant to be a cop I need to follow the rules which I definitely can't. So why lose a chance when he actually betrayed. If there is anything I hate the most it's getting betrayed.

"Do you really think you can shoot in between in his eyes in one go!?" Steve asked chuckling.

"You wanna see??" I challenged him.

He looked into my eyes if I am faking my confidence or anything but eventually he threw a gun at me which I caught easily. Of course I would, I was trained in this.

"You need not do this!!"Stephan said looking concerned at me. At first I thought I was hallucinating but it was real. He actually felt concern towards me which I felt very good.

"I know but I wanted to!! He betrayed you and this family and also Germans by spilling the truth. He betrayed"I said pressing on the word betrayed. Chris frowned at my words and smirked.

"She is actually one of a kind. An unique woman I have ever seen. She is going to be the most precious asset for this family." Chris spoke to which I felt happy and furious at the same time.

"Unique, that I am. Asset,tsk-tsk you got that wrong. I belong to no one." I shot right between in his eyes even before he realized.

Everyone were left shocked at my sudden action. But they soon realized they were staring between me and Chris' dead body and averted their gazes.

But Alex looked at me with pride glistening in his eyes. I was more than happy with his look for some strange reason which I don't know yet.

"Are you sure she is just a normal 18 year old girl with no red flags!?" Nikolai asked Damon still looking between me and chris.

"I know you all are highly mistaken to think of me like that!! I don't think you know me fully yet." I said as my lips twitched a little.

"Then how come we don't know anything about you and your fighting and shooting skills" Nikolai asked still sounding confused.

"Because no one knows I learnt them except for my Dad. He is the one he made me learn all this. He said that this is all for my protection as the world around me is no longer safe for me for God knows what reason." I yelled sounding pissed.

I was really annoyed at the fact that my dad never said as to why I should learn All these. I really found them interesting but they are exhausting at the same time. The training literally drained all my energy in my body.

"Fine!! You really did a great job today. Why don't you rest today so that you can start training from tomorrow??" Alex said.

"Training!? For what!?" I asked confused.

"We don't want to waste your potential by just making you an accountant. Do we??" He replied.

I looked around the boys to guess what he was mentioning. But all get was stupid smirks on their faces and nodding in agreement to whatever Alex said and I was the only one who is still confused

"What do you mean??" I asked him not knowing what he meant.

"From tomorrow you are not just an accountant but also a member of the family. To be precise a part of Elites." He said moving his finger indicating them.

"What do you mean by member of Elites??" How can my brain not decipher anything he is saying now??

"It means the number of Elites now are eight including you. But you would be discrete to the world for a while before announcing officially. For that you need to be trained." Stephan said explaining.

"So welcome to the Elites Anna" Alex announced.
