My eyes immediately shot open at the sound of my alarm ringing I groaned as I turned to my side to shut of my alarm.

Today is my first day working at Lockwood Industries as the new personal assistant. I looked at the timer on my bedside table.

7:30am

I got up from my bed and walked into my bathroom to start my morning. After doing my business, I headed into my closet.

So since I'm gonna be working at the high end office building, I need to dress professionally. So I grabbed a black pencil skirt, a long-sleeved red blouse and some black high heels and I'm ready to go.

I knocked gently on the door to Mr. Lockwood's office and I heard a deep 'Come in" so I slowly opened the door. Mr. Lockwood looked up from his papers and smiled at me.

"Good morning, Riley"

"Good morning" I replied as he got up from his chair and walked over to me. He ordered me to follow him and I did without hesitation.

We walked out of his office and stood in front of a door that had a small sign that read 'Personal Assistant' on it.

"This is your office and where you'll spend the most time working in" he said before opening the door.

The room was twice as big as my bedroom. There was a large marble desk at the back of the room and large windows that provided an incredible view of New York. There were also decorative plants around the room and art work on the wall.

Mr. Lockwood walked over to the desk, opened the drawer and pulled out an iPhone 7 plus and a new MacBook Pro.

"The iPhone contains every contact of your co-workers, including myself. And you can use the laptop for work. The telephone on your desk is for clients and other CEOs to call you on. Do you have any questions?" He explained. I shook my head no.

"There's some files in the drawers that need to be placed in alphabetical order and checked. And there's also some documents that need to be faxed"

That was the last thing he said before exiting my office. And I got to work as soon as possible.

"So how's your day going so far?" Annabelle asked me. We were currently on lunch break.

"It's going pretty good. I mean, he hasn't been mean or anything to me which is a good sign, I guess"

"Who hasn't been mean?" I heard someone ask from behind us. We turned around to be met with a guy who looked to be around the same age as us. I'm guessing he works here. He's actually kind of cute.

"H-hi, Caleb" Annabelle said, her cheeks flushing. So Annabelle has a crush on this Caleb guy.

"Hey Annabelle. How are you?" He responded back, flashing her a smile.

"I-I'm great. How are you doing?"

"I'm good, thanks" he turned towards me.

"You must be the new PA, I'm Caleb" he extended his hand for a hand shake which I gladly returned.

"Nice to meet you Caleb, I'm Riley"

Caleb decided to spend the rest of his lunch break with us. After he left, I decided to confront Annabelle about him and she couldn't stop blushing. To be honest, they're gonna make a cute couple.

When lunch break was over, I head back to my office to finish my day of.
