The car stopped outside a dimly lit golden restaurant. It looked expensive as hell.

"Ready princess?" Ace said when I looked at him in astonishment.

"Is this the restaurant?" I asked amazed.

"It is" he grinned, taking in my facial expression.

He got out of the car and came to my side to help me out the car. Which I gladly held his ring covered hand.

He pulled me close to his side and held my left side of my waist with his hand. Being so close to Ace made me smell his wonderful cologne and it's one of them smells where you just want to curl up into his side and smell him all day.

He guided me through the doors to the fancy restaurant and a waiter stopped us with menus in his arms.

I looked to Ace and then his lips when he said "table reserved under Rivers please"

The waiter nodded and motioned us through the main eating area at the front to continue walking to the back.

I looked at Ace in confusion but he just gave me a knowing smile and carried on walking me to where we are heading.

We ended up behind a door that Ace was now opening to reveal a lit up passage way that was covered in millions of sun coloured fairy lights.

A big smile took over my face and I sped up my waking and pulled Ace along with me looking at all the beautiful lights.

At the end of the passage there were a few outside table set up with candles and white roses. Other couples occupied the very few secret tables they had out here and I spotted an empty one right in the middle that just looked magical.

I didn't notice I stopped until I felt Ace urge me forward to continue walking to the table.

As we arrived Ace pulled out my chair for me and I politely said thank you.

One Ace was sat down we just looked at each other and smiled.

"Ace, this is just amazing." I think I whispered as I looked around and admired the effort that was put into the whole place.

"It is" he agreed. He was holding my hand that was resting on the table and stroking the top of it.

"This is too expensive, you should of just taken me to McDonald's" I nodded.

"Don't worry about the money, it's worth it because you deserve this and so much more" he then grabbed the menus and handed me one

"Wow, there are so many options" I said as I flicked through trying to decide what to get.

"I know" he agreed, flicking through his menu.

Then a waiter in a suit came up to us to take our orders.

We both ended up sharing a large pizza because I found out it was an Italian restaurant and it had some amazing sounding pizzas on their menu.

After talking about every random thought we could think of we finished out food and got ready to pay.

I noticed Ace getting more than enough money out of his wallet but I stopped him.

"Ace no, you paid for breakfast. I'm paying" I grabbed my bag of the floor but when I came back up Ace had already give the waiter the money.

"Why would you do that?" I scold him.

"Because princess I want to treat you and it was my idea to bring you out so I get to pay" He assured me.

He held my bag and my hand and took us both out of the romantically lit restaurant.

"Let's go for a walk" he grinned.

"Sure" I smiled back when we began strolling down the row of restaurants with other couples passing by.

Everyone just looked so happy it was a nice surrounding.

We walked into the nearest park and sat down on a bench facing the playground.

when I'm in the park it always reminds me of Thomas. Although he never got to experience fun in the park I just know he would of loved it.

"Why do you always wear that locket?" Ace asked me when I looked at him.

I looked down at my locket around my neck and saw that I was holding it with my fingers.

I debated not telling him about Thomas but if we're going to be in a relationship with have to trust each other and confide in each other.

"It's really important to me because it holds my baby brothers fingerprint" I started and he just half smiled and making eye contact to carry on.

"When I had my accident me and Cohen were six and I had a new born baby brother Thomas who we were literally just bringing back from the hospital" I felt tears brimming my eyes and Ace just placed small circles on the top of my hand.

"On the way back we had a car accident which caused me to lose my hearing and also lose my baby brother. I don't tell people often that I had another brother because it still hurts to talk about, he never even made it home" i choked on a sob and Ace just pulled me to him to hold me whilst I cried.

He rubbed soft soothing circles on my back and just held me.

Once I was done crying I pulled back and saw he had a sad emotion on his face.

"I know what it feels like to lose someone you love" His mouth worded.

I looked at him in confusion which then made him continue.

"I lost my dad when I was 12" this made my already broken heart brake for him.

"He had cancer and refused to have chemo, he said that he would still die so what was the point in trying" he shrugged but with tears forming in his eyes.

"The point was that he had two kids and a wife at home to try and live for but he just gave up" he began to get angry and his jaw clenched with the anger of what his father decided.

"I was so angry at him, why would he just choose to leave us when he could fight. But it didn't matter to him because he didn't want to" his grip on my waist got a little tight so I just enveloped him in a hug and wrapped my arms around his neck to hold him to me.

By now I was straddled across his waist with his body pressed to me and him crying into my chest with his arms tightly wrapped across my back.

I felt so heartbroken for him.

He didn't deserve this.

I wish I could take his pain away and just let him be happy.

But he takes my pain away and when I'm with him I forget about the crack in my heart that hurts my family and I'm just always feel content.

So I wish I would take his pain away the way he takes mine away.

Because I'm falling in love with him.
