I said, excuse me you're a hell of a guy
-Nicki Minaj
"So, you're dating that guy?" Ethan randomly asked me in the legal reasoning class.
"Theo, yes I am." I nodded. Since the morning I'd had girls look at me and whisper among themselves. Some even gave me death glares, their eyes like daggers piercing my delicate flesh, and I wanted nothing more than to snarl at the bitches that the guy they'd been crushing on was fucking mine.
"Well, no surprise there. I knew he was in it for you the moment he looked ready to kill me when I sat with you."
I grinned. "He did, didn't he?"
"How do you plan on handling all this..uh..attention you're getting?" He chuckled at the end.
"Well, I'm choosing to ignore it at the moment. It's just a waste of time." I replied back to him, sass audible in my tone.
"Really." He raised an eyebrow. "Alright then. Let's see how long you can ignore it." He looked amused. "You're literally dating the guy every single girl in this university wants to date. And the fact that you actually are his first girlfriend-"
"Excuse me? First girlfriend?" My eyes popped out of my sockets.
"Um, yeah. He didn't tell you?" When I shook my head, Ethan continued. "Well, I don't know a single girl who has dated King."
"I thought you didn't even know who he was." I was confused now.
He chuckled. "Everyone knows King, sweetie. Well, know of him. I just don't acknowledge the fact that I know of him. He's the football captain dude, of course everyone will know him."
Oh. Okay.
"So what, he's never had a girlfriend before?"
"Before you came along, he had a new girl plastered to his arm every week. But they weren't his girlfriends, not that I know of. And hey listen, before you think I'm a crazy stalker or anything, I do notice things happening in the uni, okay? And things include gossips as well."
"Sure." I laughed, but my mind was elsewhere. Theo had never told me that he hadn't ever dated. I did know about his sleeping around habits so I'd just assumed he might have dated as well. Being a player includes that.
So when the class finished and I walked down the corridor, I didn't even pay attention to my surroundings. And I didn't even pay attention to the fact that I was passing by the fields, the football fields.
It wasn't until I heard a loud hoot that I looked towards my left, and my eyes settled on the deliciously mouth watering figure of my shirtless boyfriend. I stopped in my tracks, my eyes taking in his black shorts that hung low on his waist, long socks and dark blue studs. And then I raked his bare chest, the wide expanse of his blades, sweat glistening making his body shine in the sun. He looked focused, eyebrows furrowed, never once looking away from the ball.
He ran towards the goal post, his hands moving wildly in the air. "Cameron, fucking pass me the ball." He shouted.
I watched in fascination as the ball came to him and he jumped up, doing a swing motion with his leg, his right foot hitting the ball strongly. The football whipped straight, striking right in the middle of the goalpost. A whistle sounded and boys rushed towards him, jumping on his shoulders. Theo chuckled along with everyone, running a hand through his slick hair, slapping a guy's back.

"Nice game, dude." A guy said to him, flicking his head and chuckling.
Theo shook his head, grinning and walked to the bleachers. He unscrewed the lid of his water bottle, gulping two huge sips, and then pouring the rest of the water on his body, shaking his head to get rid of the water drops in his hair. My mouth dried as I gulped, taking in the water droplets sliding down his chest.
He glanced to the side and his green eyes met mine.
The smile he gave me after that weakened my legs. I smiled back at him, raising an eyebrow as I saw him jog over to where I was standing.
"Is it even allowed to walk shirtless on the campus?" I asked.
He grinned. "For football guys, yes. I need to talk to you. I was gonna wait for you after class but it's better that you're here."
"What is it?"
"I have a game tonight. And I need you to be there."
"Um, oh, okay?" It sounded like a question.
"Please angel, it's like a tradition for every player's girlfriend to be at the games. Fuck the tradition, I want you to be there."
"And I suppose you would also want me cheer you on?"
"Hell yeah." His quick response made me chuckle.
"Alright."
"So you'll come?" He asked in a hopeful tone.
I smiled. "How could I say no to you, babe?"
I glanced at my watch for the thousandth time, groaning when I saw it hadn't even been a minute since I last saw it. I impatiently looked at the bleachers, the front seat which I'd picked out for her empty.
"Yo man, why you so tensed?" Rider slapped my back. "We're gonna win, dude."
"I know that." I replied.
As if knowing what was going on in my mind, Rider glanced at the bleachers, then smirked at me. "Your girl not here yet?"
"I don't know what's taking her too long. The game's about to start in five minutes."
"Chill out man, she'll come." He walked towards the rest of the team, probably discussing the strategy we'd already talked about in the rest rooms.
"Hello captain." I turned around to find Claire making her way over to me. She was wearing her usual cheerleader outfit, golden pompoms in her hand, deep red lipstick on her lips.
"Hi."
"All the best for your game, not that you need it, because I know you'll win."
"Thanks, Claire."
"So, I heard some rumors about you having a girlfriend." She lightly traced her fingernail down my arm and giggled. "I don't understand how people throw these baseless comments away."
I moved back, letting her hand freeze in mid air. "They're not rumors, it's true."
She smiled, though she looked nervous. "What-what're you saying?"
I looked behind her, my eyes meeting Rider's, and he pointed a finger behind me. I looked back, at the bleachers, to find Mia standing in the front seats, her mouth set in a thin line, expression unreadable. She was wearing a white crop top, her long legs visible under the shorts, her beautiful blond hair flowing down her back. I hurried towards my bag, grabbing my jersey and walking towards where she was.

She looked alarmed as I climbed up the bleacher. "Theo, what are you doing?" She hissed out.
"I can't even say a proper hi to my girlfriend now?" I raised an eyebrow as I stood in front of her.
She glanced behind me, her eyes hardening, then pulled me down to kiss my lips. I grabbed her head, tilting it to the side, feeling her tongue stroke my bottom lip, pull it between her teeth. I groaned when she stood on her toes and pressed her sternum to mine, her hardening nipples grazing my chest.
"Hi baby." She whispered against my mouth.
I couldn't stop the grin forming on my face. I pushed my jersey in her hands. "Wear this."
She looked down, and smirked. "Don't tell me you have a fetish for that as well."
"You wearing my jersey where my name is written in bold at the back? Hell yeah. Wear it, please."
She grabbed it from my hand, took a step back, placed her hands in the sleeves and slid it down her body. The dark blue jersey contrasted perfectly against her milky white skin and blonde hair. They made her eyes shine out.
"Now turn around."
She giggled, shook her head, but turned around. My mouth turned upward into a full blown Cheshire cat grin, eyes not leaving the 'KING' written in the middle.
"Did you make me wear this because you wanted to see me in your jersey or because you wanted to tell others to back off?" She asked.
My eyes did not leave her back as I spoke. "Both."
I heard Rider shout at me from behind, but I didn't pay attention. Mia turned around and I almost whined, but when she smiled at me and put her arms around my neck my smile returned. "Go." She chuckled. "You can ogle me later."
I pressed a kiss to her cheek. "I will hold you to that."
I jumped back down, jogging my way over to the field, mind fully consumed with the thoughts of Mia. My team mates slapped my back as I went over to the referee, nodding my head at the captain of the opposite team.
I was going to win, I had to win for my team.
Ninety minutes later I did just that. Striking a final goal at the post, hearing everyone cheering us on, Cameron flung on me, Rider gave me a fist bump. Everyone had a huge grin plastered on their faces, but deep down we all knew this had been an easy match. The football championships had just begun, and the next matches won't be so easy.
People were jumping down the bleachers and surrounding us. Everyone stepped up to congratulate, and I felt a bit overwhelmed by the sudden interest, but I was used to it. This happened every year.
"Dude, you killed it." Scott appeared beside me. "I mean, seriously, did you change your form?"
"Yup, started playing more aggressive. Was it that visible?"
"Yes! When's the next game?"
"Day after tomorrow. Have you seen Mia?" I looked around, hoping she'd appear somehow.
"I think she was with Bridget. I dunno, I think she went to the washroom or something. Hey Rider, damn man." Scott walked away.
I felt arms wrapping around my waist, and I smiled, but it soon vanished when I realized the arms were too thin, it wasn't who I'd hoped it was. I turned around abruptly.
"God, Theo, you were so good."
"Uh, yeah, thanks Ashley."
"I couldn't stop looking at you. I think you deserve a treat, don't you? My parents aren't home tonight." She flirtatiously looked up at me.
Earlier, I would have smirked and taken up the offer. Sure, she was hot and good in bed. That was the only reason why I'd slept with her more than once. But now, now when I'd had a taste of Mia, I wanted nothing else. "Uh-"
"Come on Theo, what's got you all shy?" I tried to subtly move away from her, but she pulled my head down. "I know you want me."
Someone cleared their throat behind us. My head whipped around, and my eyes popped out when I saw my girlfriend standing there. "No, angel, listen to me-"
"Who are you?" She glanced at Ashley who had still trapped me in her arms.
"Can't you see we're a bit busy right now?" Ashley replied back to her.
"Mia, please listen to me-"
"I can't. You're sure not doing a good job keeping him busy because he clearly does not want you." Mia smiled at her.
"Oh yeah? Well, he does." Ashley smiled back at her.
"Really, babe?" She glanced at me, her big blue eyes filled with mischief.
I took a few seconds to make sure she was really joking and wasn't upset with me, and when I was sure I smiled at her, moving away from Ashley's arm to walk into hers. "I don't. All I want is you."
I heard Ashley huff from behind me, but it didn't matter. Mia was here and at the moment nothing else mattered. She wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me down as I dug my nose in her neck.
"Congratulations."
"Thank you, angel."
"For my first game, you sure as hell did an awesome job."
I pulled back and looked at her in astonishment. "You've never seen a football game before?"
"Well, I never really found it interesting." She shrugged.
"What? How? Come on!"
She shrugged again.
Someone howled behind me, I looked back to see my team mates wolfing down chocolate cupcakes like starving dogs. I shook my head at how childish they behaved sometimes, but couldn't stop the grin forming on my face.
"Yo, Theo man, you're coming to the party, right?"
I blinked when the question registered in my mind. "Fuck, I forgot about that."
Cameron glared at me. "You are coming. What're we gonna say if the captain himself doesn't show up?"
I sighed, then looked at Mia sheepishly. "You're coming with me."
She rolled her eyes. "Of course I will. I have to save you from all the female attention you're gonna get tonight."
"Tonight? Come on, I get female attention every day." I huffed.
She giggled, shook her head, and walked away. "Get ready, captain!"

Exuperius [DISCONTINUED]
Terravest. The northernmost continent of the world known by many names of legend, but is most commonly reffered to as Athora, has, for eons, served as the land of exiles. Human criminals, dark elves, grayskinned orcs and dwarves that preffer mining with machinery over the traditional pickaxe alike, have come to call this half-frozen hellhole their home. It is a land of great strife, calamity and crisis, where one legendary tale ends only to begin the next, heroes fall down and villains find themselves thrown into lava. Around seventy years ago, a legendary figure appeared out of seemingly nowhere and conquered three human nations, forming a kingdom worthy enough of being called a small empire. However, at the eve of his heirs ascension, the legend breathed his last, leaving this same bloated, chaotic realm without the pillar that kept it together. Already, the carrion nobility, still spiteful for being denied their "rightful" place below the sun, rise up and gather at the court, each eager to consolidate their own power in these troubled times. Tempers flare, power is exercised without restraint and no one expects the hedonistic prince to succeed at keeping the realm together. Alas, as is often the case with such tales, not everything seems to be as it might at first appear and the vain lords of the realm may yet come to regret their carrion will. --- The Content Warnings are there for a good reason. ---

A Sky of Star and Strength
Jake was just an intelligent kid living a pretty regular life in Mill Creek, Washington. Then the apocalypse happens. Now with his Dad out of the country and totally in yet out his element, this is his story. My take on a system apocalypse based around "life force" as a currency. The main character will have a special power (as will most of the other characters) and be rather OP, you have been warned. Like many of the authors on this site I have no formal writing experience so writing tips and grammar corrections are much appreciated :)
