《The Lilly Within the Ashes》Ch 13

I'm extremely pissed off right now. Very pissed off.
Why? Because I was woken up at five in the morning to one of my men informing me they have caught a mole. A fucking mole. You would think these idiots would understand that once you mess with me, you die. I seriously have to be a little stricter on recruiting these stupid pricks that work for me.
I'm currently standing in front of the idiot with busted up and bloody knuckles. "I'm going to ask again fucktard. Who are you working for?" A pained snicker comes from the bruised and bloodied individual that is chained to the wall in front of me. "Fuck you." he grits through his clenched teeth.
Getting tired of this and just wanting to go see my Angel, I go and grab the pliers and place one of his meaty fingers in between the blades. "You gonna talk or am I gonna have to snip off every single one of your fingers? Cause hearing your screams will be the highlight of my day." I say in a monotoned voice. Fear instantly hits his once smug face. "O-okay! I don't know wh-who I'm working under!" I press down and a nice slice was heard through the room followed by the man's screams. "Who are you working under?!" I yell in his face. I grab his thumb. "I I-I don't kn-know! A guy named Marcus Swing told m-me his boss wanted some of our cl-client's info!" he cries out.
I step away from the battered man and yell at Anthony to get Manny, our tech man, to get information about this Marcus Swing. "Ple-please let me live! They were going to kill my girl if I didn't do what they said!" Before I could hear anymore of his petty excuses, I remove my gun from my waistband and shoot him right between the eyes. What a dumb fuck.

I leave the room to head up the basement stairs. Anthony was waiting for me and we went upstairs together. "Make sure Lilly is out of our room so I can clean up. She can't see me like this." I open the door and just my luck, the woman I can't stop thinking about is right in front of me with wide eyes.
Fuck.
Jason woke me up this morning telling me something came up for work and he would see me at around dinner. I am walking out of the kitchen after eating and heading back to the room. While almost at the stairway, the door Maria told me to never open, opened with Jason and Anthony stepping out of it.
It took me a moment but I soon realized that Jason was cover in blood. Freaking out that he got hurt, I quickly ran over to a wide eyed Jason. "Oh my goodness Jason! Are you alright?! How did this happen?" I now have him bending down to my eye level with my hands on his face to see if there was anymore injuries. That's until I see the blood splatter marks.
Jason isn't hurt. This isn't even his blood. "Now Lilly let me expl-" he reaches out to grab me but I escape his grip and try to run, but before I can take two steps, Jason has me over his shoulder. "PUT ME DOWN! PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!" I scream on the top of my lungs. As I'm wailing and screaming my lungs out, I feel him take us to our room. Afraid to be in a room all alone with this man, I try to wiggle out of his grip, but I knew it was too late to try to escape the moment I was set down on the bed.

I look up to see a furious Jason with blood smeared on his face. I never thought his face would make me cower in fear again, but it did. Still in my whimpering and scared state, I tried to get up and run into the bathroom.
One moment Im trying to get off the bed and the next, I'm pinned under Jason's large frame. "My Angel, please calm down and let me explain myself." His voice sounded broken. The fear that kept building up in me became too much, and the simple action of breathing became difficult. My face is grabbed and I'm staring into his perfect chocolate orbs. "Lilly, I need you to look at me and take deep breaths." Realizing I'm not taking deep breaths and still shaking, he sits up and cradles me in his arms.
Being in his arms used to always calm me down but with the blood from his clothes smearing onto me, I shoved him from me and ran into the bathroom. Slamming the door and locking it. The moment I step away from the door, banging on the other side wiggled the solid piece of wood on its hinges. "Lilly please! Please let me talk to you! I will explain everything!"
His pounding and constant begging continues for what seemed like hours but was probably only a few minutes. I hear him slump down onto the floor and lean his back on the door. "I'm not leaving you sweetheart." he mumbles sadly.
The sudden silence and darkness of the bathroom and the echo of my cries caused an eerie feeling within me. It made me want the arms of the man behind the door to cradle me. But he's not the big teddy bear that I thought he was. He was someone totally different. He was no longer the happy, clumsy, best friend I thought I had.
Being so worn out due to the events that occurred in the day and my mind racing a mile a minute, I ended up falling asleep on the bathroom floor mat. As I was about to zone out completely, I felt myself being lifted from the floor and into a warm, soft, cloud.

Bint of Gilgit ~ Pakistani Love Story ~ ONGOING ~
For Nazli, the world is limited from her tribe to the Forbidden Valley. For Asadullah, the world is limitless and his for taking. ***"You should be honored that a man like I have taken such an interest in you!" Asadullah smirked, swirling his small handgun on his index finger. The green-eyed girl paled - her skin already porcelain white and quite different from any other he had seen in the country before. She was definitely beautiful even in her less than impressive rags. "Asadullah hardly makes such a generous offer." He said, liking the self-praise more than he wanted to admit. She shook her head - her dainty fingers wringing in her golden braid. Little Goldilocks. "Think again, little girl. The blood of your people will be on your hands." ***The setting is in Gilgit in a fictional valley called the Forbidden Valley. The image is not mine. The story and characters are.
