"I love you" Jin said placing a wet kiss on my cheek.

We were in his room while the kids slept in Matt's room. I forgot how magnificent having sex with him was. I tried really hard not to compare him to his brother. I didn't feel right. I honestly felt like a cheater. I was still married. To Matt. But here I am in his brother's bed.

I felt really guilty.

I masked it with a smile though. I wasn't ready to tell Jin yet. I already know he wouldn't take the news well. I didn't want to add on to his stress and misery. He lost two of his best friends and how he's suffering the aftermath of the war. He doesn't deserve to hear anymore bad news.

He swiftly rolled off the bed and started putting on his clothes. "I'm going to go check on the kids."

I sat up. "I told you not to wake Dream up. Let her sleep for a little more-

"I honestly can't wait anymore. I need to see her now Quinn."

"Jin, please"

I was slightly afraid Dream would start talking about Matt. I wanted to talk to her first before Jin had a chance. Anything to save an argument. I was so relieved when Jin finally agreed. "Alright. I'm do my morning run then. But when I get back, I'm waking her up-

I nodded agreeing. "Yes, yes, no questions asked"

He smiled, gave me one last kiss before leaving. I hopped off the bed and placed my clothes on. I tiptoed back to Matt's room and found Dream in the bathroom brushing her teeth. She had a bunch of eye boogers in the corner of her eyes. Her hair looked like she just got into a fight and her face was pale as snow. Once she caught me staring at her, she spit out some toothpaste and whispered "you look scary mommy"

I stared at the mirror and almost scared myself. My face did in fact look horrendous. Now it was black and purple. It didn't hurt as much when I touched it, only slightly. Who knew Matt would be capable of doing something like this. Dream grabbed a comb from under the sink and started combing her hair. "Are we going to check on Matt?"

"What?"

She stopped combing "to check if he's okay. I don't want anything bad happening to him"

I gulped hard and knelt down to be at the same level as her. "Alright listen. Let's not talk about what happened with Matt okay?"

She frowned "why not? What if he died?"

"He didn't die"

She stood there quiet before fiddling with her fingers "Okay but what if he comes looking for us then?" She poked out her lower lip and her face turned bright pink "What if he hurts you again?" she said making sure to whisper as if Matt was in the other room. I rubbed her shoulders "He's not going to hurt me...don't worry Dream. He won't do it again. Just finish brushing your teeth, Jason made some breakfast for us"

But she didn't budge. "I miss dad"

Oh I wish I could have told her that Jin wasn't dead. But I didn't want to ruin the surprise. So I just patted her head and promised her everything will be alright. She started sulking and whispered under her breath "no it's not, and you know it"

I would have normally scolded her for talking back. But I just pretended I didn't hear it. I scooped up Junior who was already awake on the bed. I took him to the kitchen and placed his plate of waffles on the table. He stared at them for a few seconds before shoving them away from him. I placed them back in front of him and gave him the fork. This time he opened his mouth to taste. It didn't take long before he spit them out.

He didn't like homemade waffles. But today was not the day to be picky. Especially since Jason took the time to make breakfast for us. "Spit it out again and I'll make you eat it" I warned him. He didn't look intimidated like I expected. Just gave me a blank expression. I tried again. But this time he refused to open his mouth. I was about to call Dream to get the belt but Junior quickly grabbed the piece of waffle from the fork and stuffed it in his mouth.

I smiled in satisfaction. "Good boy. I knew you would like it."

I heard some fidgeting of the keys. My heart started racing when the front door slowly opened. A part of me thought it might be Matt; I wasn't expecting Jin because he just left and I didn't think it would be Jason either. So you can imagine how bad my heart started racing.

When Jin face appeared, my body relaxed.

He didn't look sweaty like I expected. He didn't even look like he did any running.

"I thought you said you're going to do your morning run" I said now feeding Junior.

He walked over to the table and squatted next to his son. He gestured for me to give him the fork so he could feed his son, and I did so. "I forgot my phone. I can't run without music" he said attempting to place the piece of waffle in Juniors mouth. Our son started squirming in the chair. His eyes looked terrified as he popped his arms up; he wanted me to pick him up.

So I did.

My poor boy was shaking.

Jin slowly rose up "is he scared of me?"

That question hit me like a bat. Junior just think Jin is Matt. I mean Matt did look more similar to Jin then Jason.

Jin crosses his arms and gave Junior a warm smile. Our son reacted by sticking his face inside my neck. "He doesn't talk?" Jin asked

"He does. But barely." I smiled "he's just like his dad"

My comment didn't make Jin happy like I thought. In fact he looked more hurt then happy. "He's really beautiful Quinn. It saddens me that I missed his birth, I missed his first words, I missed his-

"Jin, you were doing your duties as a soldier..."

He stood there quiet staring at Junior. "Why didn't you tell me about Dream? I mean I understand I told you I didn't want to be a dad but, I wish you didn't wait that long to tell me....I missed so many moments with my kids"

Why was he bringing up this right now? It already happened. He couldn't possibly be upset with me over Dream.

"She's growing up so fast, and I just missed a lot-

"Jin-

"Promise me something" he said now looking serious. I waited for what was about to come out his mouth.

He parted his lips and whispered "no more hiding things from me alright? No more secrets."

I tried to control the guilty look on my face

"Okay? No more secrets" I said forcing a really hard smile. It only made him look uncomfortable. So I changed the subject "so Dream is up."

His face immediately lit up. Without warning he walked inside Matt's room for her. I stood there patiently waiting for some good reactions from our daughter. I can only imagine the look on her face once she sees her father. I turned back to Junior and noticed him staring at me. Well- he was staring at the bruise that Matt left on me. His eyes got big, and mouth stayed zipped shut as he continued on staring.

I tried to show him that it wasn't bad. But nothing I did or say changed his shocked facial expression.

All of a sudden, I heard Dreams scream. She raced out the room, still in her pajamas. "What happened?" I asked as she clung to my leg. "He's back! Matt's back!" She loudly whispered.

When Jin came out the room, she frantically raced to the front door and screamed for me to follow. "Dream, calm down-

She started looking around the area and suddenly grabbed on to a broom next to her. She pointed at Jin and whispered "don't get any closer, I have a broom" she said struggling to hold on to it.

Jin didn't find this behavior odd. In fact it's like he expected it. He walked over to his daughter disregarding her warnings. She swung at him and he caught the broom with no issue. He then tugged on to it and Dream went flying inside his arms. She was shaking like a leaf. A hard lump fell deep into my throat. If I wasn't such a bad mother, my kids wouldn't be so terrified of a man I brought into their lives.

My daughter was still fighting in his arms. I don't know how Jin was able to take it. She was stronger then she looked. "Dream stop fighting him. He's your father" I said making sure to say it loud enough to let it sink in her head.

Dream stopped fighting and pulled her teary face up. Jin smiled and wiped her tears away. "Shocking right?" He joked trying to kiss her but she stepped back and stared at me "what's going on?" She whispered

Jin answered her question by telling her what happened. Not a lot of details of course. He kept it PG. He explained that he was at the hospital this whole time while Dylan was the one that died. That's basically all he said. I was ready for Dream to start attacking him with questions but she just stared at Jin in disbelief. He finally stood up and walked to his room. Seconds later he came back with one of Dreams stuffed animals. "Remember this?" He asked

Her eyes got bigger and her jaw dropped. "How did you get that?"

"You gave it to him remember?" I said

Jin nodded and brought the animal closer "see it did help me during war. I slept with these things and it kept the bad guys away. Because of your gift, I'm alive"

Dream didn't budge. Just continued to stare. Jin squatted down and gave it to her "here, have it back"

She didn't take it.

Jin frowned and his eyes finally fell on the necklace he gave her. He smiled and whispered "I see you still have my necklace..."

She slowly touched it and stared up at me. I made my way to them and touched her shoulder "don't be scared Dream. He's alive. He's okay. He never died. We were just informed wrong news-

"So..he didn't blow up?" She asked me as if Jin wasn't right in front of her. Her eyes started to get teary "why would they tell us something untrue"

"Oh baby girl" Jin said holding on to her. She squeezed tightly in his neck and stared weeping. "I thought you were gone" she whispered. Jin's face turned bright pink and for a second I thought he was going to cry.

I placed Junior down to get in with the group but he was still afraid of his father. His little body was hiding between my legs.

There was no stopping Dreams cries. She just went on and on. Jin and I couldn't stop her from crying. He eventually looked over at me and said "let's all go to the beach. Have a family vacation so we can catch up"

"Now?" I said remembering that I left all of our clothes back in Florida.

"Yeah why not?"He said cradling Dream as if she was a toddler. "Because we left our clothes in Florida..."

He gave me the most unreadable look "Florida? You live in Florida? Why?"

I didn't answer.

He gave me a look of disapproval and said "we can buy some clothes at the mall or something. I guess we have a lot mto talk about"

Jin was not playing about a family vacation.

He texted Jason and told him he was planning on taking the kids and I to Virginia Beach. Jin wasn't strong enough to go on a vacation but he didn't listen to Jason's warnings. He first took us to the mall to buy some new clothes. The whole time Dream stayed glued to him; talking while crying every five minutes. Just blasting him with so many questions. He tried to keep them short and sweet.

He loved Dream.

The only thing I didn't like was how he kept his distance away from Junior. I mean that's still his son but he didn't show as much of interest in Junior as he showed to Dream.

I made excuses for him in my head.

After shopping, we drove four hours to Virginia Beach.

Four fucking hours

We found a really expensive hotel to stay at; it consisted of two bedrooms and a large living room. It even came with a really cool entertainment room. The room service was very professional and nice. Overall I gave the place a 10/10

We planned to stay for a week. So as soon as everyone ate, I attempted to take Junior to bed since it was most his nap time, and I knew the long car ride had him drained, but Jin stopped me and told me he would take him.

Junior overheard this and shook his head "no! No!" He screamed

Jin looked hurt and I reassured him that Junior has to be comfortable around him first. It will take a while before Junior lets him in.

It was hard to put Dream to bed because she wanted to be by Jin 24/7. She had more questions to ask. Jin couldn't even use the bathroom without her walking in and asking new questions. "How did it feel to get shot? Did it hurt? What is it like being in a coma? Did you think you were going to die? Did you visit Dylan's funeral?"

I was surprised she didn't mention Matt yet

"Did Matt know about-

I hopped off the bed and scolded her to stop talking. I was already in panic mode.

Jin chuckled and cane out the bathroom with only boxers on "it's alright Quinn." Then he kissed his daughter goodnight "I'll answer more of your questions in the morning, but you need your rest"

She pouted her lips and started kicking invisible rocks on the rug "please don't go to war again. Please-

"I won't kiddo. I'll be ready for all the questions tomorrow. Let me rest first"

She smiled "okay! I'll wake you up in the morning and tell you everything that happened in school also. I have a ton of stories to tell you"

I really hope she doesn't mention Matt in any of her stories.

Once she left, I watched Jin turn of the mini television and start massaging his body with lotion. My heart immediately started racing; watching himself touch himself would make any girl weak from the knees. He could turn me on without even trying. He glanced over his shoulder once and saw me watching him. He fully turned around and grinned "are you getting turned on right now-

"No! What? No! I just-

He chuckled "this kind of reminds me of when we first made love. Remember?"

How could I forget. But I just shook my head "enlighten me" I teased. He walked closer still spreading the lotion on his abs "you wrote a very sexy book about me"

Thinking of that already had me embarrassed "'never mind, I don't want to hear anymore-

"Yes you do"

"No! No I don't"

"Do you still have them? Do you still write about-

"Jin stop talking" I said hiding my face with my hands clearly mortified. I was an odd teenager. I'm surprised he didn't find me creepy.

His face turned serious and he stopped massaging himself. "Let me massage you-

"No"

He smiled wider "okay, let me fuck you then. You have me turned on with that see through night gown you have on. I couldn't keep my eyes off of you"

I silently got nervous. I could be comfortable around this guy but the moment he mentions making love to me made me feel so shy. I covered my body with the blanket and he quickly uncovered me, just like how he did the first time "what do you say about making another baby-

"Dream and Junior were both accidents obviously. But they were the best damn accidents and honestly, I love being a father. So why not make another baby that I can share memories with" he smiled; his hands already gripping my leg.

I couldn't help but giggle "yeah, you do suck doing the pull out method"

He gave me a teasing smile before whispering "I want to cum in you so bad"

Those words. It took me back to when Matt said it to me. Before I could respond he took off his boxers and yanked off my panties. "Wait-Wait!" I said already having the courage to spill the beans

I thought for a second and shook my head "I said Jin."

He pulled out and got off of me. His erection turned soft while he locked into my eyes "you said Matt." He said face getting redder by the second "I didn't call you by your brothers name" I said getting defensive

He fell silent before placing his boxers back on.

I hid the urge to cry. I already felt the tension. And I wasn't ready to tell him. I mean look how he's reacting right now.

"Alright, can I ask you something?"

I nodded

"Whose your husband?"

I stared coughing uncontrollably. He squinted his eyes hard at me until I stopped "husband?"

He crossed his arms and nodded "is it a guy named Matt?"

"What are you talking about?!"

"Quinn. I noticed that wedding ring when I saw you. I thought maybe it was just a regular ring but it looked pretty expensive the more I stared at it. And now you're calling me another guys name during sex. Not going to lie, it's making me a bit skeptical" my heart was racing so fast I thought I would eventually get a heart attack "so my question to you is, are you married.-

"Jin-

"Answer the question."

"It could have been any ring! It doesn't mean I'm fucking married-

"So why don't you have it on?"

"Why are you on me about this! Either you believe me or you don't-

"You seem a bit defensive so I'll take it as a yes"

I couldn't save my ass right now. He knew I was married this whole time? Well he had a feeling and I just confirmed it by saying Matt's name. I don't think he knows it's his brother Matt. If he did...I can't imagine what he would do. I couldn't fight the tears. They just streamed down my face "I-I-was going to tell you"

The face he was giving me screamed pain. "So...you were that quick move on?"

"Please let's not do this, not right now" I said fearing a big fight.

He twisted his lips and let out a deep breath. "Okay let me ask you one thing and I'll drop it"

I nodded

"Whoever you're married to, Did he do that to your face?" He said pointing at my bruised face.

I started stuttering "no-I-I told you-I...I-fell-and-

"You're a fucking bad liar" he said

His face was getting dark and it was like I was seeing Matt all over again. I was scared.

Scared he would hit me like Matt did.

When he got close to me I flinched and covered my face. When nothing happened, I peeked up and saw his face soften "did you think I was going to hit you? I would never lay even a finger on you Quinn."

I stayed quiet

"We will talk about this tomorrow morning. Just get your rest" he said walking towards the door

"Where are you going?" I asked

"I'm going to sleep on the couch. I don't want to lay with a married woman" he said so low that I barely heard him. My heart shattered and I started to whimper "Jin, please don't"
