《Alpha - Hell Rider's MC #2 -》Epilogue

"You better get your ass up before I drag you out of bed. It is almost noon and you're still in bed." Scarlett ordered as she pulled on the blanket.

I groaned and rolled over, pulling the blanket up higher.

"I will sleep on the couch if you don't get up."

I rolled back over and opened my eyes, smiling at the sight of her glare. "You will do no such thing."

She rolled her eyes. "Then get the fuck up out of bed you lazy ass. I am not your mother."

I rolled my eyes and stood up out of bed with a groan, scratching my bare chest lazily. Looking over at Scarlett, I saw her staring at me with a slight blush. I smirked.

"Like what you see darling?"

"Just get dressed please!" She groaned, walking towards the bedroom door. I smiled and smacked her on her backside as she walked past me, causing her to turn and glare at me while crossing her arms. I held up my hands and walked to the closet, smiling at the sound of her laughter as she left the room.

As I got dressed, my smile disappeared. Today was the day of Raine's execution. Last night I had discussed it with the girls and even though Scarlett and Kali never got to know her, they had heard of what she did. Lilly and Miranda were heartbroken, but understanding. They did request to be there when we did it, but I was still not sure if they could handle it or not. I would still discuss it with them today and if they really wanted to be present I would let them, even though I was very against it.

I sighed and finished pulling my cut on before I walked out of the room, already knowing that the majority of the club was awake by the amount of talking downstairs.

As soon as I entered the main room everyone stopped talking, all knowing what was happening. I motioned for Scarlett to step up beside me and waited until her hand was in mine before I began speaking.

"Today we have an issue to address. As you all know, we have been keeping a traitor in the shed. Raine Miller, former wife of Joker, kidnapped my daughter from the compound and gave her over to people who hurt her. She has not been executed yet because I was giving those who were hurt by her betrayal time to recover. However, today we do a public execution. Those who do not wish to witness are more than welcome to stay inside, although I know that more than a few of you would like to see this.

"The execution will commence in five minutes, so I would like for the witnesses to begin heading outside after me so we can begin on time," I finished. I looked at Lilly and Miranda who were walking up to me, their heads held high. "I assume you two are witnessing?" I asked.

They nodded. "I know you don't like it, but I am the one she handed to them. I want to watch her as she realizes that her plan failed. That I am not as weak as she thought me to be," Lilly explained. I smiled at her softly and pulled her close to me for a hug.

"I'm so proud of the woman you've become," I whispered.

"I love you dad."

"I love you too Lilly."

We stayed that way for a few extra moments before we pulled apart, laughing slightly at each other's misty eyes. Together, we walked out as a group and to the shed where I knew Butcher and Jason were already waiting for me at the cell. Ripper and I broke off from the group to go inside together.

As predicted, Butcher and Jason were already there and waiting. Both of them had deep scowls set on their faces, and I knew that they were going to be relived once the traitor was taken care of.

As we neared, the opened the cell door. Inside was a pathetic heap of skin and bones, deep circles had formed under her eyes and her cheeks had become almost sunken in. However her eyes glinted with the rage that had driven her to this state. Her eyes still held the deeply set hatred for me, enough to where if I didn't know what she had done I wouldn't almost felt bad doing this to her.

But a traitor is a traitor. And I refuse to house this one for any longer.

I stepped forward, her eyes immediately locking with mine.

"Raine Miller. Your execution day has come. We have let you live far longer then what all of us would have liked, we were just waiting for the ones that you hurt to have the ability to heal before anything happened. However, in just ten minutes you will no longer be able to cause anyone else here any pain. You will no longer be able to be a part of the nightmares that have plagued us for so long. You are a pathetic waste of space that sent someone to die and betrayed your husband all because you wanted money. You will be able to say your final words once you are escorted out, but don't expect any remorse," I spat.

She scoffed at me and glared. "You really think I care about what you heathens say about me? No matter what, you're all criminals! You're no better then me!" She shrieked.

I laughed and stalked towards her, undoing the wall clasp and pulling her up by the chain. I made sure that her face was as close as possible to mine so she could see the amount of rage burning in my expression.

"I didn't betray those I said I loved just to get money now did I?" I snarled.

Her face went blank and I took that as my cue to drag her out of the cell. As the three pairs of eyes laid on her I could tell that all of them wanted to make her suffer in the worst way possible for what she had done. In this club, traitors aren't tolerated. Period. It also doesn't help that she tried to get my daughter killed in the process.

No one is willing to save her now.

I continued to pull her out of the shed, yanking her harshly whenever she tried to pull away from me.

"You'll regret this," she whispered harshly.

I pulled her chains tighter.

"I'll regret nothing."

We stepped through the opening and into the sight of everyone else. They had formed a half circle around the shed, everyone with blank expressions and a glare set on their face.

Raine stuttered when she saw the hateful glare Joker was sending her, no love was in his expression.

I knew he was still hurting, but I also knew he wanted this closure. Even though it seemed very barbaric, this closure was the best way for him to move on. Knowing that she has been alive this whole time had to have been hard on him.

Stopping in front of everyone, I threw her onto the ground.

"We witness, the execution of a traitor. Raine Miller kidnapped the clubs princess and handed her over to a rival for her to be tortured. Raine has admitted to all of her crimes. Her title as a old lady has already been revoked, and today the club will witness her death." I paused and cocked my gun, pointing it at her.

"Joker! Baby I'm sorry!" Raine screamed as soon as she processed what was about to happen. I saw Joker's body tense and his jaw twitch and I knew he was slowly losing his patience.

"You have lost the right to speak to me," he spat. "You lost that right the moment betraying the club entered your mind. The moment you thought about betraying those who thought of you as their friend, as their lover," his eyes were misty. "You don't deserve to live a moment longer because of your crimes. You know what we do to traitors, you knew this was going to happen. Did you really think you could get away with it?"

Raine dropped her head in defeat, knowing she had finally lost.

"Members of the Hell Riders MC, witness!"

"We witness."

I pulled the trigger.

Just like that, it was over. As the bullet went through her skull her body fell to the ground. It was almost as if a weight had been lifted from everyone's shoulders the moment the life went from her.

I lowered the gun and looked up, locking eyes with Scarlett. She smiled and gave me a slight nod, signaling that she was okay. As I looked around at the others, everyone was okay.

Everyone except Joker.

He was staring at her body, almost as if he were in a trance, zoning out.

I looked at Smiles and nodded my head at Joker, telling him silently to get him out of here. Smiles quickly guided him back inside, but not without a lot of nudging. I turned to look at Ripper and Butcher.

"Take care of her body. I don't care how you do it, I just want her remains gone," I ordered. They nodded and immediately started to do as I told. As I looked back towards the main group, Lilly had her back turned to me but she was walking back towards the house with Miranda. Both of them were talking, and I detected no signs of resentment or anger in their motions.

I sighed in relief as I felt a small hand grip my own. A smile formed quickly as Scarlett wrapped her arms around me and pulled me closer to her for a tight hug.

"Are you okay?" She mumbled.

I chuckled. "You just witnessed me shooting a woman and you're asking me if I'm okay?" We both laughed. "Are you sure I don't need to call someone to get you checked out?"

She gasped and smacked my arm, glaring at me as I laughed at her.

"Not funny!"

It was a little funny.

I pulled her back to me and hugged her tightly.

"Thank you for staying, I don't know where I'd be without you," I told her honestly. "You've done so much for me. The moment you walked into this club my life was changed forever, and I wouldn't take it back for anything. You've saved me Scarlett, and I don't know how I can ever thank you for that," I whispered to her.

She sniffled and grabbed my face with her hands, pulling me to where I was looking her in the eyes.

"You never have to thank me for that. We saved each other, and I will be here for as long as you want me to."

I chuckled. "Well seeing as how that'll take awhile, how about we move that hair salon out this way huh?"
