Laura pov.

It has been a week since I left. I week since I left Ross, my friends and pack. I really miss them, but I promised that I would stay here for two more days. I really wanted to go home, but I didn't have the courage to look at Ross. I knew I will have to do it soon, but I just didn't know what to say or do.

This week I told my parents, Luke, Molly and Dylan everything that happened. I told them about what the rogue said about Derek and what he will do to my parents. Luke said that he will double the guards everywhere and put guards around my parents house also. And if we need help, then to call him. I was really grateful about what he said. I know I can count on him if we need help, the only thing that I didn't want is for innocent people to get hurt.

Luke said he will send guards to help when the war starts. And Ross will send our guards as well. That means that the guards families will lose their father and husband. I can't let that happen. I want to fight with Derek alone, so no one will get hurt. But whatever I said about people getting hurt in Luke's pack, he said that they would be honored to help the last white wolf and their friend, so they will fight.

I was now walking to the beach. I don't know why, but the water calmed me down. When I was little I came here with my family every day. I played in the water with my brother and my parents watched us, happy. That was my favorite place then.

When we got older, we stopped coming here. Dad didn't have time. Me and my brother had school and my mom had to help the Luna. No one had time.

I could hear the waves in the ocean becoming lauder and lauder. I was close. I haven't been here for about a year. I could smell the water. I smiled at the sweet smell of the beach. I started to walk faster.

Finally I stopped in front of the water. My feet were touching the water. Finally after a week full of stress, I could relax.

I love water! I closed my eyes and inhaled the clean air. I never want to leave this place!

I walked a litter bit more in the water so my knees were touching the water.

''Concentrate on the water'' someone said in my head. The Moon Goddess...

I did what she said. I closed my eyes and started to concentrate on the water. I felt my hands becoming wet. It confused me, but I kept concentrating. If she told me to do that, then I had to do it. It must be something important...

''Raise your hands'' she said again. I raised my hands up and felt something in the water move.

''Open your eyes'' she said. I opened my eyes and gasped. In front of me was a water wall. I stepped back a little from the water wall, shocked. I did this?

I moved my hands to the left and the wall fallowed. I raised my hand higher in the air and the wall, grow bigger. It was me! I found my second power!!

I dropped my hands down and the wall disappeared. I jumped in the water and started to swim underwater. I swam like a mermaid.

I swam for about two minutes, but I didn't need air. I swam really fast. After few more minutes I swam up and gasped. I didn't see the forest anymore. All I saw was water.

I went under water again and started to swim back. I looked around in the ocean. Everything was so calm. Like nothing bad ever happened here. The little fishes were swimming around in groups. The big fishes swimming around alone. It was just beautiful. I gasped when I saw a shark close to. When I gasped that made the air in my mouth go out and be replaced with water. I was shocked but smiled. The water power lets me breath under the water.

I looked back at the shark scared. I didn't move, I was too scared to do that. The shark swam closer and closer to me, but didn't do anything. When it swam past me it looked like the shark smiled at me, but I just shook my head and started to swim back.

When I was out of the water, I sat down in the sand and started to concentrate. I thought about the Moon Goddess.

The sound of the waves started to slowly disappear, the birds started to sing quieter and finally all I heard was my breathing. I opened my eyes and saw white. I stood up and waited for the blue butterfly.

I saw him fly towards me and I smiled. He flew around my head and landed on my nose.

''Hi'' I said, ''Can you take me to the Moon Goddess?''

He rose up from my nose and started to fly. I followed him to the big castle where the Moon Goddess was. I opened the big doors and walked in. The butterfly lead me to the same big doors that led to the throne room. I opened the doors and saw the Moon Goddess sitting in the big chair and looking out the window.

''Hello my child.'' she said and I dropped to one knee.

''Hello mother.'' I said back and stood up. She smiled at me.

''Congratulations on your new powers.'' She said.

''Thank you.'' I said back.

''So what do you want to know about your new powers?'' she asked.

''What are they?'' I asked, ''I mean the fire symbolizes strength, energy, happiness and protection. It can create and destroy. What does the water symbolizes?''

''Water represents a lot of things. It represents life, strength, rebirth, and pure happiness. It represents life because it gives all things a new life. Without water nothing would live, and only death would fill the world. Water does not only represent all things good, but bad too. It can represent death, violence, and enslavement. This is because water is not only the base of all living things but can kill.'' She said.

''So both of them can create and kill. They both symbolize happiness and strength?''

''Yes.'' she said, ''You have two powers of the four elements. Water and fire. They are opposite, but have a lot of things alike. When they are used together they are even more powerful. You can use them together, but that is when you really need it. It will take a lot of energy from you so use it carefully my child.''

''Okay.'' I said.

''Remember use your powers for good things.'' She warned me.

''I will mother.'' I said with a smile and bowed down.

''See you soon my child'' she said and everything started to disappear. I opened my eyes and saw the beach. I stood up and started to walk back to the pack house. I knew that my brother was already there. Jack, Luke and Dylan had to talk about some pack businesses.

I walked in the pack house and up the stairs to Luke's office. I could hear them talking in the office. I opened the door and they stopped talking and looked at me.

''I found my second power'' I said smiling.

Ross pov.

It has been a week since Laura left. A week without normal sleep. A week without my mate. I missed her so much. Everything I thought about was her and only her.

I haven't done anything since she left. I asked James to do some pack work. All I did was just sit in my room.

I asked Jane for her forgiveness, two days after Lara left. I told her that I only wanted to protect her from danger, that I only wanted good, but me trying to do good became bad. She forgave me after a time. I also asked James for forgiveness, because I made his mate cry and leave for two days. He forgave me. The only person left is Laura...

I hope she will come back soon. Four days after she left, I told Jane that I would go find her and ask her for forgiveness, but she stopped me. She said that she needs time. I argued with her that I need Laura. I need to know is she's okay. I need to hold her again.

There were the few times when I walked out of my room. I didn't eat much either. My mom brought up some food to my room, but I didn't want to eat. When my mom came up and saw that I didn't eat anything she said that if I won't eat she will feed me like a baby. I didn't want that so I ate a little bit.

Suddenly I got thirsty and I climbed out of the bed and walked downstairs. I was about to walk in the kitchen when I heard people talking.

''I know he hasn't eaten well since Laura left!'' Jane said worried.

''That's not good, but what can we do? Laura will come home after few more days maybe and he will be weak.'' Emma said. I walked closer to the door and listened.

''When will she be back?'' Jane asked.

''She said that maybe after two days, but maybe longer, because she's scared to come back.'' Emma said.

''Scared to come back?'' Jane asked confused. I too was confused. Why was she scared to come back?

''She scared to face Ross'' Emma said.''She said that she doesn't know what to tell him or do when she sees him.''

''Oh...How is she doing there?'' Jane asked.

''Not good also'' Emma said, ''When she arrived home she was okay, but later that day she was crying nonstop for two days. I was really worried for her. She really misses Ross.''

''Oh no...'' Jane said, sad.

''She said that she wants to come home, but she's scared. She also said that she wants Ross to know how it feels without a mate.'' Emma continued.

''They can't keep doing this! They are both hurt and want to see each other!" Jane said and Emma continued to talk but I didn't want to listen to them anymore so I walked away.

They were right! I have to find Laura and ask for her forgiveness and I have to do it now!

I ran upstairs to my room and took some clothes to wear. I quickly put them in a bag and ran outside. I shifted in my wolf and started to run towards Moonlight Pack where my mate is.

My wolf was really week so he wasn't running as fast like before, but the thought of seeing our mate made him run fast.

I ran for about three hours. Wolves could run really fast and for a really long time. They were stronger than humans.

When I got to the border of the Moonlight pack, the guards stopped me.

''Shift'' they ordered. I growled at them because I was an Alpha and Alpha's don't like to be ordered around. I shifted back, because I had to get to my mate and the only way I can do it if I talk to them. I went behind a tree and shifted. I put on the clothes I brought with me and walk back.

''What are you doing here?'' One of the guards asked.

''I came to see my mate!'' I growled at them. No one is going to keep me away from my mate!

''We have to ask the Alpha if we can let you in our territory'' the guard said.

''Then ask him! And say to him that he can't tell anything to Laura'' I said and he nodded. I didn't want Laura to know that I was coming. She could run away, before I could reach her.

I saw the guard look at me, ''You can go.''

I nodded and was about to walk forward, but the guard stopped me. I looked at him and he said, ''Alpha Luke, Beta Jackson, Gemma Dylan and Laura are in the Alpha's office in the pack house''

I nodded and started to run. I ran for about ten minutes when I saw the pack house. I could smell my mates scent from here. I smiled at the beautiful smell and felt my wolf get a little bit stronger. I ran inside the pack house and fallowed my mate's beautiful scent. People were looking at me like I was crazy, but I ignored. All I cared about now was to get faster to my mate. I ran up the stairs and the scent got stronger.

Finally I stopped in front of big doors where the scent was the strongest. I could hear people talking, but I didn't care. I opened the door as quickly as possible and then I saw her.

Laura turned around and shock was written allover her face.
