Laura pov.

After I unpacked I went to take a quick shower and now here I was standing in front of the window waiting for Ross to leave the room so I could hide the book.

I still wasn't sure when or how to tell him about me being the White wolf so now I will just try to ignore it and focus on something else.

"I have to go to my office. Emma is just two floors below us if you want to see her. And my office is just one floor below our room." he said to me and I turned around and nodded at him and then looked back out the window. I really could see far from this window. Even the big houses in the city and the border line to Ross's territory.

"Laura are you okay?" he asked me and came to stand next to me, taking my hand in his.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I answered him and continued to look outside. Something didn't feel right. My wolf was on the edge. I was suddenly high on alert and trying to look for something in the woods.

"I'm sorry for not letting you sleep in the guest room if that's what you are angry about" he said and kissed my hand but I continued to look for something and didn't answer him, "Laura?"

Before I could answer him, I finally found what I was looking for.

"Ross! Look!" I suddenly said and showed him where to look. He growled when he saw what I showed him and ran out of the room. I followed him.

"Everybody get ready! Rogues are approaching our pack house from the south right now!" Ross yelled in his alpha voice trough out the house. Everybody started to run around to get prepared for the fight. Ross walked downstairs and like before I followed him down.

When he finally saw me following him he stopped and growled at me, "You stay here!"

"Yeah like that is going to happen! I am going with you!" I said back with a growl.

"Like hell you are! You are staying here where it is safe!" he growled back at me and grabbed my hand to pull me back in the house.

"No I am going with you. This is now my pack as well so I need to protect it as well! Plus isn't the safest place with you?" I asked him and he stopped to look at me, "You can lock me in a room, in the dungeon but I will still follow you out somehow and go fight next to you! So stop wasting time arguing with me but start moving and let's go protect the pack!"

He growled at me and walked back out with me by his side, "You do not leave my side! Understood?" he asked me and I nodded and we ran towards the rogues with the pack following close behind us.

There weren't a lot of rogues so this wouldn't take long. In under ten minutes we would be done so I wasn't scared at all. But when I was fighting a rogue besides Ross I saw someone familiar. The rogue that bit me! He was here.

When he saw me he smirked and ran towards me. I glowed loudly and saw Ross who looked at me but I ignored him and ran towards the rogue. That rogue is going to pay for what he did.

I was getting angrier by the minute and I knew Ross could feel it. He tried to come and fight next to me with the rogue who bit me but other rogues were stopping him from reaching me. He growled at them and tried harder.

At the same time I was fighting with the rogue and he was just smirking at me. I growled at him and tried to punch him in the face but he moved aside and I missed. He then punched me where the mark stood and I growled out loud. That hurt...

He smirked even more and tried to hit me there again but before he could Ross jumped at him and bit his neck. The rogue fell down dead.

But it was all a blur to me as I fell down to the ground and screamed. Damn did it hurt.

I could see Ross shifting back and running towards me but I couldn't see or hear him clearly. It was all a blur and then suddenly I heard something.

"My child" the sweet voice said, "Come to me"

And then everything went black and I passed out.

White. Everything was white. I looked around and the only thing I saw was white.

'Follow the butterfly' a soft voice said. I looked around confused and saw a light blue butterfly. It landed on my nose and I giggled. The butterfly started to fly again and I followed it.

He led me to a beautiful castle. The castle was white like everything else. Behind the castle was a full moon. It sparkled like a diamond. I smiled and followed the butterfly.

He led me into the castle. It was like, I was in a diamond. Everything sparkled. The ground, the windows, everything. From the window I could see the moon. It looked so beautiful.

I followed the butterfly through corridors. The butterfly stopped in front of a big door. I opened the doors and what I saw almost made me faint.

In the middle of the room, in a chair was sitting The Moon Goddess. She smiled at me. I was too shocked to do anything. I just stood there looking at The Moon Goddess.

She was beautiful. She had long, black, curly hair. She was wearing a white, long dress. And her smile could light up the whole world.

''Hello my child'' she said. Her voice was like an angel. She was the one who spoke to me earlier.

I walked forward and dropped to one knee. I put my head down and said, ''Hallo mother''

''Please stand up'' she said and I looked at her and stood up.

''I know you have questions'' she said and I nodded, ''You can asked them if you want''

I thought for a second and then asked her, ''Why am I the White wolf?''

''I watched you when you were little. You were brave, strong, nice to everyone. I knew you were born to be the white wolf so I gave you the power of the white wolf.'' She explained.

''In the book...the book said that you create the white wolf, ''I said and she nodded, ''But you also create the evil. Why?''

I did read the book when I was with my old pack. I needed to know what I was or what I could do. So at night when everyone went to sleep I stayed up and read the book for a while.

''The are questions that can't be answered and this is one of them. Everybody has good and evil in them. They are not pure good and they are not pure evil, they are both. In the night sometimes the moon is white, sometimes it's half white and half black. That's the evil side of me.'' She said and I nodded.

''White wolves have powers, right?'' I asked and she nodded again, ''When am I going to find my power?''

''You are not like the white wolves before you. You are special. You don't have a power, you have powers''

''Healing and the power that I don't know?'' I asked confused.

''The healing is born with, but the powers are a gift. The white wolves had a power, but you have powers'' she said.

''What powers?'' I asked.

''You will have to find out yourself. But remember this 'Stay close to the loved ones and protect them, they will help you find your powers''' she said.

''And the mark?'' I asked.

''The mark is where your power is. Protect it.'' She said and I nodded, ''You have to go now. If you need help then come back here and I will help you''

''How can I come back here?'' I asked.

''Go to your favorite spot and concentrate. Think about me and you will be here.'' She explained, ''And sometimes when you are unconsciousness, you will woke up here, because I know when you need help.''

''Okay, thank you for your help'' I said and she nodded.

''Remember 'protect my children and they will protect you' '' with that everything want black again.

I could hear someone talking and tried to open my eyes. I slowly opened them, but closed them. The light was bright that I had no choice, but to close them. I groaned and the talking stopped. I could hear someone walking to me and take my hand.

''Laura wake up'' Ross whispered and I tried to open my eyes again.

I slowly opened them and saw Ross looking at me worried. I looked around and saw Emma and James holding hands. I smiled and looked back at Ross.

''Are you okay?'' he asked me and I nodded, ''Call the doctor'' Ross said to James and he nodded. He walked out of the room to get the doctor.

''Finally you are awake'' Emma said and sat down just as the doctor and James walked in the room.

''Hello Luna, how are you feeling?'' the doctor asked.

''Good'' I said and he nodded.

"Is everything alright with her?" Ross asked the doctor and after a few minutes when he finally stopped to check me if I was okay he nodded at Ross.

"Everything seems fine with the Luna. If there is any pain left I suggest taking this pill. And please rest up a bit before going somewhere. You are still a bit week." He said and I nodded.

"Thank you doctor" I said and he gave me a small smile which I returned and he walked out.

"What happened with you out there?" Ross asked me and I gulped and looked away from him, "And what is that mark on your stomach?"

I looked out the window and then at Emma. She too looked scared for me and gulped.

"Laura?" Ross called for me and took my chin and pulled it softly towards him so I was looking in his eyes, "What are you not telling me?"

"Nothing..." I started but like hell would he believe me.

"Tell me." he demanded from me.

"It's complicated." I said but he growled.

"Complicated my ass." He growled and I flinched and looked away from him and back at Emma, asking for her help. Ross again growled at me, "Don't you even dare ask Emma to help you get out of this."

"Start talking." Ross growled out and I gulped, looking away from him.
