Laura pov.

Before I knew it the last 3 days with my pack went fast and now I was waiting in my room for Ross to show up. I had already packed and was now sitting on the bed.

Emma was in the pack house as well. She and her family came to the pack house about 10 minutes ago. She was moving to The Black Night pack as well to be with her mate. At least I will have her by my side.

I was leaving all of my friends and family behind. I was moving away from them. From the people I have spent my whole life with.

In these 3 days I tried to spend as much time with them as I could. From the start of the day till the end of the night I was with my friends and family. They themselves tried to spend as much as time with me and Emma as they could. Luke, Dylan and my brother even left their work for a while to be with us. I let a tear slip knowing that I won't see them everyday from now on.

Molly tried to reason with me and tell me that it's going to be okay and that I don't have to worry about it. She told me that we could see each other everyday because we are neighbor packs. But it's not the same and she knew it.

As for Ross...the last time we saw each other which was just before he left to back to his pack he asked for my number. He would text me every 5 minutes to ask me if I was okay or safe or what I was doing which at the start was sweet but later it started to annoy the hell out of me.

I told him to stop texting every minute but he ignored me and continued to do it anyway. I even tried to block him but he would then start calling Luke or Emma to ask where I was and if everything was okay. So in result I had to unblock him and answer all those texts.

''Laura" I heard Molly say when she walked in my room. I looked up at her, ''They are here..."

I nodded and took my bags. Molly took some as well and we walked out of my room. I took one last look at my room and let out a sigh while closing the door.

I walked downstairs and out of the house to see all my friends and family and also some of my pack members. And behind them was my mate who already was walking my way. I gave him a small smile but he just took me in his arms and put his nose against my neck, taking in my scent.

"Mine....my mate" he growled against my neck, making me shiver.

''Well hello to you too" and he just pulled me closer.

"These have been the longest 3 days in my life" he whispered against my neck. For me these have been the shortest days in my life. He then pulled away, took my bags and started to walk towards the car, leaving me to say my goodbyes.

I looked at all of them. My mom was crying and so was Molly and some of the pack members. My dad was hugging my mom and trying to hold in his tears. My brother was looking at me sadly and Luke and Dylan were doing the same.

I gave them a small smile and went to hug all of them. Emma and her family joined us as well.

''We are going to miss you two" Dylan said and that made me tear up.

"We are going to miss you all too" Emma said and I nodded with a small smile till on my face. We pulled away and Emma and I went over and hugged everyone individually.

I gave my mom and then dad a hug and they told me to behave and be a good mate but also to show that mate of mine whose the real boss.

I laughed and pulled away from them to go and hug Molly and then Dylan and Luke later. They all told me that to be safe and to remember them and how they are going to miss me.

Then there was my brother... I looked at him and he already was looking at me. I quickly ran in his arms and hugged as tight as possible. I felt his tears on my shoulder and hugged me back.

"I'm going to miss you so much" I whispered to him and it was true. No matter how bad he always got on my nerves and bugged me, I loved him. He was my brother. The one that I trusted the most.

''I's going to miss you too little sis" he whispered back to me, ''So damn much"

I let my tears flow and now I was sobbing like hell. We hugged for a few more minutes and then he pulled away, "But hey! We are going to see each other soon! Probably sooner than I would like" he laughed and I hit his shoulder while laughing as well. He then gave me another hug and whispered in my ear, ''But if that mother fucker does anything to you...you call me and I am going to beat the crap out of him. Okay?"

"Okay" I said between laughs and he gave me a smile and then my mom and dad came over and hugged us.

"My family" My mom said and hugged as all tightly. I smiled and kissed her forehead. My family...

Then later my mom and dad pulled away and then came my other family. Dylan, Luke, Molly and Emma all came and hugged me and Jack. I smiled and hugged them as tight as I could, not wanting to let go.

"I love you guys" I whispered to them.

''And we love you" they whispered back.

"Forever" we all whispered together and I small tear slipped from my eyes as I looked in all of their eyes. I am going to miss them so much...

We stayed that way for a few minutes before slowly pulling away. I looked at Ross and saw him looking at me with sadness in his eyes. He looked guilty. I gave him a small smile and walked over to him. He gave me a small smile back but the sadness never left his eyes.

He pulled me in his side when I finally reached him and I looked back at my family. They all were giving me smiles and some crying. I looked at Emma and she gave a small smile as well. She was with her mate by her side also crying just like me. I gave her a small smile and looked back at the pack.

"We should go" Ross whispered to me when he looked at me and I nodded. He took my hand and we walked over to his car. He opened the door for me and I looked at my pack again.

''I am going to miss you all!" I said to all of them and they gave me a smile, saying that they are going to miss me as well. I waved at them and got in the front seat of the car and Ross shut the door closed for me. He walked around the car and got in the drivers seat right next to me and took my hand in his.

"I'm sorry" He whispered just as Emma and James got in the back of the car.

"It's okay." I said and gave him a small smile. He squeezed my hand and kissed it. He then let go of it and started the car. I looked at the pack again and waved at them. They waved back. We continued to do this till I could see them.

I put my hand in my lap and took a deep breath. Ross took my hand in his and looked at me quickly before looking back at the road.

''It's okay" I said to him and he again squeezed my hand, ''Seriously! This would have happened anyway.''

"But still..." Ross started but I stopped him.

"No, it's okay. Just forget about it and drive. I do want to see them again when I'm alive." He growled and I laughed with Emma and James in the back. I was about to let go of his hand but he didn't let me. I looked at him but he ignored me and continued to drive.

"So...how long till we reach your packs territory?" Emma asked.

"Four hours" James answered her and he let out a breath and fell back in her sleep.

"Wake me up when we are there" she said and closed her eyes. I let out a small laugh and said okay. I looked one last time at Ross and also closed my eyes also going to sleep.

"Laura" someone whispered in my ear, "Wake up". I opened my eyes and saw Ross looking down at me with a smile, "We are here"

I nodded and climbed out of the car. I looked at the house and gasped.

"It's beautiful" I said to Ross and he smiled.

"Good to hear that you think like it." he said and went to grab my bags from the back.

"On which floor do you live in?" I asked him while checking the house out,

"The whole top floor is ours" he answered and took the bags out from the car.

"The whole floor? Why?" I asked him.

"Well I wanted to have my own private life so I took the whole top floor for myself. No one goes up there except for my beta, third in command and of course my family" he said and walk to me with my bags in his hands. I tried to grab some but he just pushed me away and shook his head, "Plus now we can live there alone and I don't have to worry about any male seeing you naked."

I hit his shoulder and he just gave me a smirk and started to walk towards the doors.

"Where is Emma and James?" I asked him realizing they were not with us.

"They already went to their room to sleep." Ross said and opened the door and went inside.

"They also have their own floor?" I asked him and he shook his head, saying no.

He closed the door with his foot and walked upstairs to his floor and I followed him. He opened the door to a room and we walked in. He dropped the bags on the ground and came to hug me from behind. He put my hair on my other shoulder and put his nose against my neck instead.

"And this is our room." He whispered with a smile and looked at me to see my reaction. I looked at the room.

There was a king sized bed with big windows next to it. There were two doors on the other side of the room. One probably was the bathroom and the other was the closet. There was a couch between the two doors and another couch next to a coffee table next to the windows. The room was big and beautiful and it smelled just like Ross which made it even better.

"And we both are going to be sleeping here?" I asked him and he nodded but I just shook my head and he frowned, "You expect me to sleep in the same bed as you just when I moved in here?"

"Yes." he said and I just shook my head again at him and that made him a bit angry," You are going to be sleeping here. In our bed."

"Oh I am. But not you." I said and he growled at me pulling me closer to him, "Not yet at least"

"Then where am I going to sleep?" he asked me angry.

"Well you do have other rooms in your pack house." I said and he growled.

"First...this is our pack house and second...No!" he said and growled again.

"Okay then you can sleep on the couches or the floor. Really you can sleep anywhere you want just not in this bed while I'm sleeping there." I said to him and looked out the window with a smile.

"You know this also my house." he started and kissed my neck, making me shiver," I can also decide where I want to sleep."

"Fine, then I will sleep in the guest room." I said and pulled away from him to go and grab the bags but was pulled back in his chest.

"Don't test me Laura" Ross growled at me and I glared at him, "You will sleep in this room, in our bed!"

I growled at him and pushed him away and grabbed my bags and went to opened one of the two doors which to my luck was the closet. I gave him one last look with a growl and closed the door.
