Laura pov.

They were true. He was a monster. He did kill all of the rogues. The parents...

He killed them all.

And he wasn't even ashamed of telling me it. He wasn't ashamed of being a monster.

My mate was a monster....

I pulled myself slowly away from him, taking his hands off me, while still looking in those brown eyes that were staring at mine. I took a step back and saw him take a step towards me.

I quickly took some steps to my left so I would not be trapped. He followed me and turned everywhere I went.

''Laura...'' he started and tried to take my hands in his but I flinched back, ''Laura please''

''No,'' I said while still looking in his eyes, ''You killed all those people...and for what? For fun?'' I asked him angrily.

''Of course not! I needed to protect my pack!'' he defended himself but I just huffed.

''Yeah right! A lot of rogues are innocent! They just ran away from their packs to be free or to save themselves! And you just kill them!'' I yelled at him and took more steps backwards. He looked at me guilty, ''So what about those kids? Where they dangerous too towards your pack?''

''What kids?'' he asked me confused and that just angered me more. I slapped his hands away when he tried to grab my arm.

''You don't even know who you kill!'' I yelled at him with a growl and he growled back, ''You killed the parents of two innocent kids and made them omegas! Why would you do that? What did they do to deserve that?''

''It's complicated.'' Ross started but I just shook my head at him.

''Complicated my ass!'' I yelled at him and ran away. I could not bare his presence any more. The presence of a monster.

''Laura!'' I heard him call but I ignored it and continued to run away. I needed to get to my friends.

I ran down the corridor and into the ballroom. I heard him behind me so I quickly started to look for my friends.

I looked around and saw Dylan with Jack and Molly talking and quickly ran towards them. When they saw me, their smiles disappeared and looked at me worried.

''Laura what's wrong?'' Jack asked me worried.

''You need to help me.'' I said and looked at all of them and pulled them in a corner where Ross couldn't see us, ''I need to get away from here. From him.''

''Why? What happened?'' Molly asked while Jack growled.

''No time for that. I need to get away before he finds me.'' I said and Molly nodded. She looked at Dylan.

''Dylan go tell Luke we left. Send Emma to us if you can. We will be at my house.'' Molly said to Dylan and he nodded. He walked away and Molly pulled me and Jack with her towards the back door where no one could see us.

Jack opened the door and we walked out. Before Jack could shut it there was a laud growl in the ballroom. We ignored it and ran towards Jacks car. We quickly climbed in and drove away.

''What happened?'' Molly turned to ask me when we drove by the gates to the castle. I growled and looked out in the darkness.

''He is a monster. He killed all those people.'' I said and growled at that. How could he.

''What people?'' Molly asked me confused.

''All those rogues, all those families that walked in his territory! He killed them!'' I yelled with an even louder growl.

''Hey, hey calm down. His gone. His not here anymore.'' Molly said and Jack growled.

''Thank god he is not or I would kill that bastard for scaring my sister like that!'' Jack growled out. Molly nodded at him.

''What do you think is happening over there?'' Molly asked us when she turned back in her seat.

''I have no idea.'' Jack answered.

''I'm going to ask Luke.'' She said and opened a link for the five of us.

''Hey, what is happening over there?'' Molly asked trough the link.

''We are in an office talking with Alpha Ross. He almost made a fight in the ballroom so I had to get him away from there'' Luke answered her, ''What happened?''

''He is a dumbass that's for sure!'' Jack said in the link with a growl.

''Did he hurt you Laur?'' Luke asked me.

''No, not me'' but he did...he did hurt me, but they didn't need to know that. Not even the devil himself needed to know that.

''Just don't tell him where we are'' Molly said, ''say you don't know, Say that we blocked you''

''I already did'' Luke said and I smiled. I knew they had my back. They always do.

''Where is Emma?'' Jack asked.

''She is with us. When she realized what happened she left James's side and walked next to us. She will be with you when we take care of them'' Dylan answered this time.

''Thank you guys. I don't know what I would do without you all.'' I said with a small smile.

''Probably be bored as fuck'' Jack said with a smirk and Molly laughed.

''Okay, we need to go. We will see you later'' Luke said and shut down the link.

Molly gave me a small smile trough the mirror and I gave her one back to tell her that I am okay. At least I will be. If I have them by my side, everything is going to be okay.

After the talk with Luke and Dylan we sat in silence and drove the last few miles to Molly's house like that. Me looking out the window, Molly humming a song to herself, and Jack driving peacefully.

All I could think about was him. What he did. How he did it. How he felt about telling me it. How could he kill innocent wolves? Make children omegas. I just didn't understand it.

There were a lot of rumors that he was a hundred times worse with rogues than his dad. His dad would give them a quick death, so they wouldn't feel any pain. But the rumors say that the new Alpha, Ross, would kill the rogues slowly so they could feel the pain. And that made me feel sick.

No wonder everybody called him The Devil himself.

I couldn't believe that I was mated to a person like that. A person who could kill the innocent.

I don't understand what my mother was thinking when she paired us up. Why she would pair up a White wolf, a werewolves protector, with Alpha Ross, a werewolves killer.

''Hey, we are here.'' Molly said to me when she saw that I didn't start moving after the car had stopped. I looked out the window and saw her house. I was so deep in thoughts that I didn't even realize that we had arrived.

I opened the door and climbed out, following Molly and Jack to the house. Molly got her keys and opened the door for us to walk in.

''You can go to my room and change into something comfy.'' Molly said to me and I nodded to her and started to walk upstairs towards her room.

''You think you will have something comfy for me too?'' Jack asked her.

''What? Those clothes aren't enough comfy for ya?'' Molly asked him with a giggle.

''Yeah mhm, you try wearing a suit for a night.'' Jack said and waved her off and following me towards a spare room that Molly always puts some of her friends clothes in.

We all spent a lot of time together in each others home so there are a lot of clothes in everybody's houses. Molly got sick of them lying around her house so she put them all in her spare room. So if someone wants something to wear they go to that room and look around.

''Excuse me?! Try wearing a dress and heels for a night! Then let's see whose complaining!'' Molly yelled back at him and Jack laughed. He said something back but I ignored it and shut the door to Molly's room. I knew I didn't have any suitable clothes in that room so why even bother looking.

I went over to her closet and took some grey sweat shorts, a white top and a pale pink cardigan and put them all on and made a messy bun.

I walked out of her closet and Molly opened the door.

''Hey, you done?'' she asked me and I nodded, ''Okay, can you go please make popcorn? We are going to watch a movie.''

''Yeah okay'' I gave her a smile and she gave me one back. She walked in the closet and I walked out of her room, closing the door behind me.

I walked in her spare room and took a pair of my white ankle socks and put them on and after that I walked to the kitchen to make popcorn.

I went to the cabinet and took some popcorn. I walked over to the microwave and put them in.

''If I were you I would make a lot more than that.'' Jack said when he walked in the kitchen.

''Why?'' I asked as I was walking to het a bowl to put the popcorn in.

''Because Dylan, Luke and Emma are on their way here'' Jack explained and I looked at him.

''They are?'' I asked and he nodded while he sat down on a stool.

''Yeah, they finally finished with Ross and are coming over here right now'' Jackson explained and I nodded and went over to get more popcorn, ''Are you okay?''

''Yeah, I'm fine'' I said and took two more bags of popcorn.

''Laura, you know you can talk to me. If you want I can go and give that jerk a piece of my mind.'' Jack said with a low growl.

''Don't worry. I am thinking of a plan already.'' I said and Jack smiled.

''That's my sister! You go sis!'' Jack said and I laughed, ''I think you take after me, not mom or dad''

''Hey, what's going on here?'' Dylan said as they walk in the kitchen. When Emma saw me, she quickly ran towards me and gave me hug.

''Are you okay?'' she asked me and I nodded.

''Yeah everything is fine. You don't have to worry about me'' I said and let go of the hug.

''Next time I see him, I am going to make him wish he never met me. I don't care if I am human and he is a werewolf! You do not hurt my friends!'' Emma said angry and Jack whistle at her.

''Yeah! That's right!'' he said and everyone nodded with a laugh.

''Hey! You all are here!'' Molly said when she walked into the kitchen, ''We are going to watch a movie. You guys can go change upstairs and then we can go''

''Yeah okay'' Dylan said and Emma nodded. They both started to walk out.

''You go. I need to talk to Laura first.'' Luke said and looked at me. He mentioned me to follow him and I did just that. We walked out of the kitchen and to the living room away from everybody else.

''What do you want to talk about?'' I asked him when he stopped and turned around to face me.

''He will be looking for you tomorrow, ''Luke started and I looked down, ''he wanted to do that now but I told him to give you some time alone.''

''Thank you'' I said and he nodded at me with a smile.

''No problem. I did try to give you longer time alone but he wouldn't give up.'' Luke continued but I smiled and gave him a hug.

''It's okay. At least you gave me some time alone.'' I said with a smile and he hugged me back.

''You know I would do anything for you'' he said and I nodded.

''Just like I would do for you.'' I told him with a smile.

I knew everyone in our group would do anything each other. We were as close as friends could be. I would take a bullet for them in a heartbeat without even thinking about it. They are my best friends. All of them are.

''Hey, I want a hug!'' Molly said when she walked in the room and ran towards us joining our hug.

''Don't forget about me!'' Jack said and ran towards us just like Molly did.

''Are you four having a group hug without us?'' Emma said with a gasp.

''Oh come here you two!'' I said with a smile and they both ran up to us.

We all made a big group hug and laughed.

''I love you guys.'' I whispered when the laughs stop and looked in their eyes. They all gave me a big smile back.

''And we love you.'' Molly said to me and everyone nodded.

''Forever'' Jack said and I looked at him with a smile.
