"can we go home now? i don't like walking." somin whined as she lazily followed jungkook from behind like a slug.

jungkook turned around to lock eyes with somin and was struck by the beauty he had seen. they have been together for at least 5 hours today however, he seems to always get amazed by the look of his crush.

"you're acting like we are on a hiking trip. do you exercise?" somin widened her eyes at jungkook's true but offensive response. he saw her hands make their way to her hips.

"oh, so now you're calling me unfit?" she snapped at jungkook, making him to suddenly feel regret.

these playful arguments occurred every now and then during their date. they both nagged and insulted hugely out of love.

slowly, he walked closer to somin and put his hands around her waist, pulling her in close to his chest.

he had noticed she looked down at his shoes, knowing she was flushed entirely.

"you should know i wasn't being serious" he ruffled her soft, fluffy hair and caressed it afterwards, "we are nearly there so stop complaining."

unexpectedly, he felt somin gently push him away.

she was scared that she'll explode if jungkook stays close to her any longer.

she then walked off in front of him, trying to hide her whipped smile.

"i'm walking, jungkook. happy?"

confused, he stood there and titled his head to the side, developing a small smirk on his face after hearing his name leave her mouth. something about the way she says his name makes him go crazy. he enjoyed it.

"cute." he mumbled.

he proceeded to jog to catch up to her. they walked with smiles on their faces while their arms gently brushed against each others.

"it's as beautiful as you, right?" jungkook teased the flustered mess as he poked her cheek.

somin ignored him, trying to fight away the butterflies, and looked out at the stunning sunset that caught her eye.

the orange, yellow and purple blended in together perfectly like art which fascinated her.

while somin was admiring the sunset, jungkook was admiring her. how lovely she looked when she was interested in something, how lovely she looked when the slight wind made her hair flow out, and how lovely she looked as a whole. this made him fall for her more.

"why did you bring me here?" somin finally asked after a moment of comfortable silence. she was leaning over the gate, jungkook beside her.

jungkook glanced over at the sunset.

"why not?"

he then hugged her from behind, waiting for the perfect moment to come.

jungkook felt somin's hands touch his, and her head leaned back onto his chest. he wanted for her to feel protected in his arms and he definitely accomplished that. nothing felt better than this in jungkook's mind.

he wanted to cherish every moment.

"it's.. amazing."

jungkook nodded with a pure grin. he was relieved that everything was going well. the pizza was delicious, he bought her a new necklace which replaced the old one for memory and now this.

of course he was nervous and was still thinking of how to make his words to somin simple but sweet in his head. being rejected was his fear.

but he is impatient, as always.

"s-somin?"

"hm?"

jungkook cleared his throat before somin turned around for them to be face to face.

he looked into her captivating eyes and finally felt the rush of nervousness.

it was rare for him to feel nervous surpringly, but when it comes to somin, it's a whole different story.

"woah.." jungkook said in awe as he scanned somin's face. amazed by her beauty once again.

"what?" somin giggled at his cute reaction and slightly pushed his shoulder.

"you look breathtaking." somin blushed as she remembered him saying the exact compliment on her birthday.

he suddenly felt at ease seeing her smile right in front of him, it felt right. he now felt the urge to let everything out.

"but somin.." he interlocked his hands with hers.

"i don't want to sound cliché but, you really are breathtaking in my eyes. i can't get over how you can make me feel appreciated just by your touch and your voice. just seeing you and even texting you makes my day feel worth it and no one has made me feel like this in a while. thinking of you, your contagious laugh, your angelic smile, your everything. you are everything to me. i don't want to hurt you anymore and i pray you know this. i want you to trust me.. and stop calling me a fuckboy."

somin laughed, still taking in the ongoing affection she was receiving from her actual first love.

"on a serious note. i love you. there's something about you that i can't get enough of. no i am not asking you to marry me yet, i'm asking if i can be yours... your boyfriend."

instead of hearing a positive response, he heard a deep breath come from somin. she seemed lost and speechless to him.

anxious. he was anxious. jungkook wanted somin so bad. he wanted to be the one to make her feel safe whenever.

jungkook looked at her with pleading eyes, waiting for her to respond, obviously getting impatient.
