《The reject of silver falls (COMPLETED)》chapter three

"So. I was thinking...Richards taking me to the party tonight..." Clare said, trailing off.
I smiled.
Every year when the end of the school year came, a huge party was thrown just inside the boundaries of the pack grounds. Other packs were invited, some wolves ven met their mates there.
"Richard and me thought maybe you would like to go," Clare said, bracing herself.
I realized she expected me to yell, so I did the opposite.
I laughed.
"Thank you, but no thanks. I have to finish cleaning," I said. It wasn't a lie to be honest...I did have to clean. Alphas orders.
"Angie, this is your birthday. We were literally just talking about you meeting your mate yesterday. Come on please?" Clare asked, her eyes all wide and innocent. I looked away and shook my head.
"Clare I just don't have the time, the alpha-"
"Thinks it's a good idea you should go. thank you Clare," Astion said as he walked into the kitchen, his eyes never leaving Clare. Clare didn't even look at him.
"See. Alpha thinks you should go. It's going to be FUN. I promise," Clare said before she shot out of her seat and hugged me.
Astion smiled evily from his new seat at the kitchen table.
Clare was right.
It was my birthday.
Today is a special day to always remember, why?
1. I'm turning 16.
2. I shift for the first time tonight.
And finally...I get to meet my mate.
------------
"Maybe I shouldn't go," I whispered as Clare brushed my hair.
"Seriously? No. You're going. Right Richard?" Clare asked.
Richard looked up from his phone and nodded.
"I'll carry you if she tells me to," he said with a smile.
I liked Richard. He was smart, funny and though I would never admit it to Clare, he was hot.
Really hot.
"See. Come on think of it this way. after you meet our mate, Astion will have no choice but to find another omega. It's against the law for a mated wolf to be in the omega position," Clare said.
I nodded. she was right. Astion wouldn't be able to hurt me after today. I would be free to live a normal life...whatever that felt like.
Richard sighed and stood.
"Alright darling, I'm off. Both of you be ready when I get back. Angie, If you try to back out one more time, I will carry you fireman style to the party. imagine the embarrassment," Richard said before he kissed Clare. He shook his fist at me before he disappeared down the hall.
"Aw, my knight in tainted armor. He's not joking you know," Clare said. I know. He definitely without a doubt was not joking. Clare wanted me there, so he would make sure I went.
The hours dragged by as Clare tried to pretty me up for my mate. She tried to make me feel better about meeting my mate but it wasn't working. I just knew something bad was going to happen.
I could feel it. Clare was so sure everything would go perfectly. That Richard, her, my mate and me would double date. She went on and on about everything we would do together, but I just wasn't feeling it. None of this felt right.

"Okay, ladies first," Richard said, pulling open the passenger side door. Clare curtsied and slid in.
Richard shut it behind her and opened the back door for me.
Once we were all in, he buckled himself in and we were off.
As we passed the pack houses, I started to feel homesick. I started to miss Clare, although she was right up front....crazy I know.
Richard tried to break the silence, turning on the radio and to my utter humiliation, he began singing along. Clare giggled and I found myself giggling too. He was singing off key just to make us laugh, which was so sweet. Richard was a sweet guy.
When we pulled off the road onto a dirt road leading into the woods, Richard turned off the music and the ride went back to being silent. I really didn't mind. It gave me time to think about stuff.
Like meeting my mate.
What would he be like?
Would he be loving and caring?
Or sweet and funny like Richard?
What would my wolf be like?
Would she like me?
Well...of course she would like me.
She is me.
I smiled and fold my arms over my chest.
When I got my wolf, I could attend training like everyone else and maybe this time I could get somewhere.
The last time I attempted to be in training, James beat my ass and left me bloody and broken. Astion said I was an embarrassment to the family name and banished me from the training site. My wolf would help me of course, and I would show astion how HE was an embarrassment to the family name. not me.
The car came to a stop and I snapped my head around to look at the fire already blazing in the distance.
Richard climbed out and we followed behind him as he led us towards the fire.
People were already crowing around, dancing.
"I'm going to find something to drink," Richard said and before either of us could argue, he was gone. I sighed and pushed my hair out of my face.
"Hey, don't worry. I'm sure your mates here and everything is going to be just right," Clare said, patting my shoulder before she too abandoned me.
I sighed and moved to sit down on a fall trunk of a tree.
"Mind if I join you?" A deep voice asked.
I nodded, not caring who it was.
A boy with beach blonde hair and sky blue eyes sat down next to me, his long legs stretching out in front of him.
"I'm Alex," he said, holding his hand out.
"Angelina," I said without thinking, placing my hand in his.
Just as I was about to pull away, he yanked and I fell forward, face first into his lap.
It was like the world slowed down. I heard people laughing, people yelling at me. I heard someone call me a slut.
"Save it for the bedroom!" Someone called out, laughing. I yanked back and the boy let me, a grin on his face. I stumbled backwards as I stood and ran smack into someone. I turned to apologize only to have them shove a bucket over y head and dump the contents on me. I cried out as the cold green liquid drenched me, making my white tank top see through.

The laughter got louder and I backed away from the girl who was holding the bucket, only to trip and fall over the boy Alex's long legs. I landed with a thud on my back, which made Alex laugh.
He bent over, his face inches from mine.
"You know that position well don't you?" He asked with a laugh before he stood and disappeared into the crowd.
I sat there and watched everyone go back to dancing. As if it never happened...but it did happen. And I was humiliated.
"Angie, oh my god," Clare said as she finally pushed her way through everyone and knelt beside me.
"Are you okay?" She asked, her eyes roaming over me checking for injuries.
"Yes," I lied. I was okay on the outside but I was dying on the inside.
She sighed and helped me to my feet.
"Where's Richard?" I asked her.
"Connors house. it's a few minutes away from here. they're using it for restrooms and stuff for the party-"
"Point me in that direction. I need to clean myself up," I said.
Clare nodded, sliding her purse off of her shoulder. she rummaged through it before she pulled out a blue tank top.
"Here, it's MY extra. Get yourself cleaned up angie. I have to ahbdle something," she said, pointing in the direction of Connors place before she turned and stormed into the crowd.
I turned in the direction she had pointed and started walking, letting the tank top hang loose in my hand.
I could remember a time when everybody liked me. when my dad would place me on his shoulders and carry me around, showing me off. People loved me then. They adored me.
Then astion became alpha and everyone turned on me. I wish dad had never died.
I passed through a cluster of trees and paused when I saw Connors place. It was literally made of glass. GLASS. Oh my god. The amount of light that had to be in that house was off the charts. Now...I won't lie, it's not all made of glass, but the majority of it is. It's so beautiful. I'm envious that a jerk gets to live in it.
I walk up to the house and through the front door, following the signs that led to the bathroom.
I had this.
The minute I was in the bathroom, I locked myself in one of the stalls and shrugged out of my shirt. I pulled on the blue tank top and decided to leave the old one sitting there.
The minute I stepped out of the bathroom, it hit me.
The smell of chocoloate and peprrmint rolled in one. It was so amazing. I just had to know where it was coming from.
Ignoring the looks I got from the few party people that were standing around, I climbed the stairs, the scent growing stronger and stronger. It had my mouth watering and desire pooling in me.
I stopped at the top of the stairs and stood, frozen.
Connor looked up from the table he was kneeling in front of and he growled.
"What the hell are you doing here?" He snapped.
My eyes went around the room and landed on James. James algo Ryder. Just thinking his name had me hot.
I walked across the room, ignoring the states, the growls that I got.
I stopped a few feet away,y heart in my throat. My mate was James algo Ryder. Dammit moon goddess. Why? Why me?
My eyes caressed his face, taking in every detail I had missed before.
James's eyes left the table and finally landed on me.
I felt him take a jagged breath before he shook his head and his eyes went blank.
He stood, making his friends stand too, trying to understand what was happening.
"You? The moon goddess sends me you? A stupid no good shitty ass omega? And here I thought that having alpha blood in me would get me someone good. Wow," he chuckled.
I felt my chest start to hurt, but I ignored it. No, I wouldn't let him get the better of me.
"Listen, sweetheart, I'm in the middle of an important game here so....let's get this over with," he said as he stepped around the table, and came face to face with me.
"I, James algo Ryder reject you Angelina sky falls," he said, smiling smugly as his friends gathered around to laugh.
I stood there for a moment, stunned, before I stepped forward, shocking him.
"You think you can make me cry by rejecting me? Read my lips and read them good sweetheart. I could care less," I lied before I turned and I stormed out of there.
A part of me hoped he would come after me, like in the movies.
He didn't. He probably sat right back down in his seat and didnt even bother.
I told myself I was fine but in reality I wasn't.
I had just been rejected.
In all of silver falls, not one person had ever been rejected...except for me.
I tried to fight them, but the tears took over the minute I left Connors house. I ran. I didn't know where I was going. I just ran.
I ran and ran until I lost my balanced and fell face first into the ground.
I groaned, starting to get up.
The minute I put my hand flat on the ground, my wrist snapped and I cried out, falling back on the ground.
I felt something crawl up me, leaving a burning sensation everywhere.
Water, I thought.
I got up onto my hands and knees, ignoring the pain in my wrist.
I shoved to my feet and screamed when my ankle snapped, making me fall right back to the ground.
My eye sight went black, leaving me blind in the middle of the woods. Not a good idea.
This is horrible.
Please.
Please somebody help, I thought.
No one answered of course.
Tears fell from my eyes, cooling the burning in my cheeks.
Bones snapped, skin ripped. Clothes tore. I couldn't keep up.
I didn't know what was happening.
I cried out when I felt something sharp dig into my stomach, and then everything went black.

Hi :)
This chapter is longer than I thought I would be.
But I combined the beginning of the fourth chapter with this chapter.
Thought it might be a bit better if I did.
Please comment, vote.
