Kate's Pov

" Hello dearie, how are you doing today?" Mr Cameron asked passing me a cup of coffee. I thanked him and said

" I am nervous and excited about my wedding which is in two days. I am just scared that I will somehow mess things up" I told him honestly about what I was feeling.

Me Cameron was my counsellor. After all, the events that happened in my life, I decided I needed professional help. My friends went back to London after a few weeks we were discharged from the hospital while I decided to stay in Russia with Vladimir and his family.

I went to Mr Cameron's office for the first time the next day my friends left. After two months I also started to go to college again. As Mr Cameron suggested it would help me if I interacted with other people and I still needed to graduate.

Vladimir and I started dating after a month of me going to college. And two years of us dating he proposed.

Flashback

I and Vladimir had a date night today and I don't why but he was acting weird for two days. He was nervous around me for some reason when I tried to talk about this with him or our family they would dodge the question.

I wore a simple dress with black heels and applied some makeup. I went downstairs to the living room and saw Vladimir, Dimitri, Cillian, Andrie, Ivan and Daniel playing some video games. Eros and Thaila had gone out for sibling bonding day. Yakim was on a business trip and Uncle Mikhail and Aunty Irina had gone out on a date too.

I went towards them and gently tapped Vladimir's shoulder and he tilted his head and looked at me I kissed him and said " Shall we go?" and he nodded his head. I kissed Cillian's cheek and said " I"ll be back soon ok?" and Cillian nodded his head and said " ok and you look pretty mama" I patted his head and Dimitri and his kids waved us bye and we both headed out.

The car ride was silent. It was a comfortable silence. The car stopped. I wasn't able to see anything as Vladimir had put a blindfold on my eyes. He opened the car door and helped me get out. He led me god knows where with my hand in his.

He suddenly stopped causing me to bump my head with his back and I said " Ouch Vlad be careful"

" Sorry honey are you ok?" and I said " yeah I am fine. Can I please remove the blindfold?" and in response, Vladimir removed the blindfold and I looked around and the place was beautifully decorated with fairy lights hanging on the tree and a piano place next to table with two chairs.

On the ground were my favourite scented candles and I gasped in awe. I turned to look back at Vladimir only to found him kneeling on the ground and I knew what was coming next.

" Kate you are the best thing that happened in my life and I want to make you mine officially. Will you marry me?" Vladimir asked and I couldn't stop tears flowing from my eyes as I screamed yes and Vladimir picked me up and spun me around as we both laughed. He finally put me down and took out a box from his pocket and slid the ring on my finger. He kissed me and I kissed him back. We both had dinner and he played our favourite song on the piano before we went back home.

Flashback over.

I was snapped out of my thoughts as Mr Cameron coughed loudly and I smiled sheepishly.

"So as I was saying it's normal to feel nervous before your big day and let me tell you, Kate even you mess up something which you won't I believe in you Vladimir and your family will be with you to make it right. So don't worry I know it's hard not to but think about all the good things okay?" Mr Cameron said and I nodded my head.

I talked to him for some time before I said goodbye to him and left his office. As I reached my car, my phone rang it was Vladimir. I answered the call and said " Hey Vee"

" Hello, Kate where are you right now?"

Vladimir asked.

" I just finished talking to Mr Cameron and I am coming back home. Why? Did something happen? Is Cillian fine?" I asked him frantically

" Sweetheart calm down everything is fine. Cillian was just missing you and wanted to know when you were getting back. And I too wanted to know" Vee explained.

" Oh ok, so I will see you both at home. I love you" I said

" I love you too. Drive safely" Vee said and I hummed in reply before ending the call. I opened the car door and buckled up before I started driving back home.
