Kate's Pov

When I came out out of the shower that fucker was sitting on the bed with his phone in his hand. He turned his head and looked at me and said" you look, gorgeous baby angel, now let's go"

" Where are we going," I asked him

" You will know when we reach there and don't try to run away when we go out of this room because there is nobody except my men, some servants and your family on this island. And it will just make your punishment worse" He said and I rolled my eyes and cursed him in my mind.

" Baby you need to answer me verbally. You don't pay attention to my words do you" He said with a chuckle like he found it amusing. I controlled myself from punching him and muttered " yeah ok"

He grabbed my wrist and started dragging me God knows where. The hallways were luxurious and had enough space to fit more than 100 people.

What caught my attention was that there was a huge photo of me and Alessandro kissing each other and the next photo of me and my so-called family and I was standing in middle with Alessandro and had a big smile on my face. There were many photos like this and it was so creepy.

After a turn, the hallway was dark and then there were stairs to which I assume was the basement. As we started walking down the stairs my heart was beating fast and there two guards on the door, one of them opened the door when Alessandro gestured him to. The basement was large. The sight I saw when we reached a specific area made my heart drop.

Enric and Leonardo along with a few men were beating Dominic and Mason while Ava, Elijah and Jayden were in a big metal cage which looked like a prison and were trying to break free and shouting at them to leave Dominic and Mason but the men and Leonardo and Valentino only laughed and said they will be next, and something along the lines. Stella was nowhere to be seen and I couldn't help but think worst.

" see baby this is what happens when you don't listen to me" Alessandro whispered in my ear.

" Alessandro, please let them go, I was the one who tried to escape not them. You can hurt me or do whatever you want but please let them go " I begged getting on my knees and joined my hands in front of him.

" Baby I love you so why would I hurt you but you still need to learn a lesson and this is the only way you would learn. Remember that I already had told you that and it's because of your actions that they are hurt" He said as he knelt and stroked my hair. He talked to me in a tone like he was talking to a toddler throwing a tantrum.

" Please I promise I won't do it again, just let them go " I once again begged but he just shook his head in disappointment and placed me on a chair and tied my hands together. I was in shock and seeing my friends getting hurt and basement brought bad memories.

I heard Leonardo asked one of the men to get a whip as he, Enric and Alessandro took turns whipping my friends. They punched and kicked them, one of the men was touching Ava inappropriately. Grabbing her chest and bottom, as she was crying and screaming at him to stop. Mason and others tried to help but couldn't. I was trying to get out of the ropes but I couldn't.

I screamed and begged Alessandro, Enric and Leonardo to stop but they just ignored me. My throat was hoarse from shouting I couldn't even speak above a whisper now. There was a lot of blood on the floor and by the time they had stopped I was breathing heavily and all the bad scenarios were running through my head and I finally fainted.

Enric noticed Kate was having a panic attack and told Alessandro that it was enough and to take her back to the room. Alessandro agreed and kicked Elijah whom he was torturing and untied Kate and took her to the room and changed her clothes and kisses her forehead as he tucked her in and went out, making sure that the door was locked properly and told one of the maids to prepare Kate's favourite food for dinner.

On the other hand, a man barged into Vladimir's office and shouted " I found out where she is"

" Really, what are we waiting for, we have to leave now" Vladimir yelled.

" First we have to get all our gang members and weapons ready, I have arranged all the things we will be able to take off tomorrow till you then go and see Cillian and explain why you will be gone for some time," the man said.

" Ok brother, thank you for your help," Vladimir said and the men replied " Brother no need to thank me, now go and come back. You need to go over the plan and from what I found is that bastard Alessandro is planning to marry Kate day after tomorrow." the man whose name is Dimitri Kozlov is Vladimir's older brother and in charge of the legal business and sometimes help with the mafia.
