《The Diner Girl》CHAPTER 3: Nice To Meet You?!?

Wow it's really busy for a Tuesday night, but I have grown to like a lot of the people here as most of them seem to be very inviting and down to earth.

Things picked up more for the lunch rush and haven't had a chance to take a break since it's just me, some other teenager and of course Brie waitressing and running all around. It's no fun when you have curves like mine and aren't as fast.

"Hey! You can't be back here!" I yell out to the jerk who thinks he can just walk behind the counter and do what he wants like he owns the place.

"Or what?" He turns around and smirks at me with his arms crossed across his very built chest.

"Or the owner of this place will have you kicked out." I tell him as cause NOBODY wants to ever deal with Rudy.

"Pff. I'm not scared of that old man." The jerk tells me. Which it's his funeral.

"You should be boy! I may be old but I can still kick your ass back into last year." I hear the owner, Rudy chime in.

'Boy?' Oh my god, is he Brie's brother? Oh my god, I'm embarrassed and for sure am most likely gonna be fired now.

"Hey dad." He greets Rudy with a smile as he came walking out and they hugged each other.

"It's good to see you son." He says to the hot tattooed guy. Then they both look at me. "Oh good, I see you both have met." Rudy smiles.

"N-not yet. I actually didn't he was your son and I just..." I was stopped by this guy.

"She yelled at me for coming back here and then warned me about you." The jerk off says with a grin.

I couldn't help but glare at him as now for sure he just cost me my job. But I also feel embarassed.

Rudy just starts laughing and then so does the guy as though there's something I don't know.

"Am I fired?" I asked.

"Hell no girl!" Rudy says. "Anyone that talks to my son like that is always welcomes." He sinks and smiles.

"Thanks." I say relieved.

"And by the way Princess, the name's Abe." The guy winks at me.

I just roll my eyes and try to hide the blush at the same time as I start heading back to work.

As the night went on and after Brie's brother left and his friend, whose name is I think awesome, Rudy told me that I could leave earlier tonight since I didn't get a chance to take a break longer than ten minutes.

You know, for a small town, people here sure do tip nice as I seemed to have made $50. Which might not seem like a lot but to me it is because I use to waitress when I was a teen in a pizza joint and the tips were terrible. Although later on I found out it was because people knew whose daughter I was and felt I had enough money. Which little did they know though that it was more blood money.

Anyways though, since the house wasn't too far from the diner and it was a beautiful night, I had decided to walk home.

The stars seemed to light up the sky along with the moonlight shining bright.

I happened to be on the opposite side of the street as I had walked past one of the local bars in town that unfortunately you can't avoid passing to get to the house or diner and you would think that by the sounds and the looks of it all right now that it was the weekend.

I heard several drunks whistling at me and trying to catch my attention but I ignored them and continued looking ahead of myself while walking.

I was used to that sort of thing though. No SOBER guy ever thought I was attractive. They always had to be drunk or took a bet to say something to me. My ex didn't like being in public with me. I'm curvy, NOT an ogre! In fact, I have been told that I look a little like a curvier version of that Amanda Bynes before she had a breakdown.

I finally got to the house and when walking inside, I look up and hear a girl giggling from the room down the hallway and she was very thin and very beautiful with black hair and red slices in her hair. She had tattoos and short hair.

She came walking down the hallway and stops when she see's me. She holds onto the wall as she finishes putting her last high heel on and looks me up and down.

What the hell is her problem?! She's the one doing the walk of shame.

"You're the new waitress down at the diner huh?" She asks.

"Yep. Have been for a few weeks now." I reply trying to be nice.

"Abe told me about you." She says.

"He doesn't even know me. And not to be rude, neither do you." I tell her while walking into the kitchen to make myself something to eat.

"True." She laughs.

Which to be honest, with her laughing, I'm not sure now what to make of her. Is she trying to be friends with me or what?

She ends up stomping out of the house while I continue my search for something to eat when I find some things to make a delicious sandwich with and then head towards my room to take a shower and then go to bed.
