《Wolf》Chapter 21- Wolf

After a loud screaming match Uncle finally agreed to us going out for dinner I wanted him to see the outside world wasnt as bad as he thought and that Reaper cared for me even though I didn't need him to fight for me or protect me in anyway. Uncle had prepared suits for us enough that we could blend in for dinner but also keep us bulletproof if we needed to be mine was a fitted jumpsuit that went up around my neck in blood red with a low open back it contrasted perfectly with my dark hair and sallow skin.
Thea had pulled my hair up into an up style allowing a couple of strands to fall loose framing my face she was excited it was a long time since anyone had left the compound. I gave myself one last look in my mirror I had tucked some blades away in my back holster in case they were needed being sure to tuck them beneath the top of the pants so they wouldn't be seen. Satisfied I left my room walking down the hall Bear came out of his room in a black shirt and pants "looking good Wolf" he smiled I blushed and he fell in beside me walking silently to the end of the hallway where Bolts and Reaper stood by the front door hands stuffed in their pockets. Uncle had insisted they loose their club cuts for the dinner instead he provided them with a leather jacket reinforced no doubt which they wore over their shirts and pants. Bolts was in a light blue shirt with beige pants and Reaper wore a white shirt with dark jeans.
I grabbed my leather jacket off of the hook and threw it on "let's get this over with" Beast muttered behind me catching Bolts attention he turned his eyes widening he gripped Reapers arm turning back around I heard him whispering

"Jesus christ. Ok if you don't fuck her soon I will. She looks insanely hot. When you turn around just try to play it cool cause the psycho is behind her"
"That dingbat knows the psycho can hear him right?" Beast growled "shut up Beast" I scoffed walking up to Reaper his jaw was clenched "hi" I breezed at him he leaned in to kiss my cheek "you're killing me" he whispered in my ear his eyes dripping in longing I flushed a shade of pink that most likely clashed with my outfit.
"Doesnt everyone look lovely?" Thea floated into the hall Uncle following behind her looking bitter he hates losing arguments and he hates doing things he doesnt want too "yes yes wonderful let's go"
The ride to the restaurant was a quiet one Beast sat between myself and Reaper Bear was beside Bolts Uncle drove and Thea was up front with him. Bear looked nervous we could blend in but Beast hadn't been around humans since he was a kid apart from killing them and he was normally sent in as a last resort if myself or Bear hadn't been successful Beast wasnt subtle in his kills he was an animal end of.
When we got out we all eyed him trying to gauge his reaction he growled deep into his chest snapping his eyes shut. Reapers arm wrapped around me putting himself between Beast and I, Uncle was watching us intently "Beast?" I peaked around Reaper who stared down at me like I was mad "it'll be ok Beast this will be good for you. The outside isn't so bad you'll see" I went to take a step towards him Reaper stopped me "are you crazy?" He barked at me I shook my head at him wiggling from his grasp I stalked towards Beast slowly his eyes were still closed and he was panting heavily I touched his arm gently "Beast?" His hand snapped to my neck lifting me off the ground in a death grip before I could even gasp for a breath Reaper had lunged at him right hooking him straight into the ribs before upper cutting him to the jaw once he had dropped me.

I landed on my hunkers my eyes shining a bright yellow breathing deeply Reaper wrapped himself around me his hand instantly went to my face "close your eyes baby people might see" he whispered stroking my back I took a few calming breaths before standing up his hands never leaving me.
"Yeah something tells me this animal should never have been let out of his cage" Bolts muttered "shut the fuck up man" Reaper snapped still holding me close "interesting" Uncle mumbled watching out closely I shivered under his gaze causing Reaper to glare over his shoulder.
Once Beast had calmed himself enough we walked inside Reaper still had his arm wrapped around me a young waitress with Auburn hair bright green eyes and freckles across her nose greeted us "hello table for 7?"
"NO!" Everyone looked shocked at my outburst I composed myself "a table for 5 and then a table for 2. I think it would be nice for Thea and Uncle to get some quality time" I smiled sweetly at Uncle who just scowled at me, the young girl led us to our table Reaper sat close to me his arm draped across the back of my chair "what was that about?" He muttered I noticed Bear and Beast tilt their heads so I shook mine watching Uncle out of the corner of my eye once they had been seated in the only vacant table on the other side of the restaurant I relaxed.
This was going to be hard enough without him overhearing anything I glanced at Bear raising my eyebrow he nodded in silent understanding we had done this trick hundreds of times growing up.
"So Mattie boy what're you gonna order?" Bear glanced at the menu "meat" Beast grunted back. I tapped Reaper on the shoulder "I'm going to the bathroom" I purred into his ear sliding off my chair towards the bathroom.
I had only walked through the door when he slammed through it behind me picking me up pinning me against the wall his lips crashing onto mine his hands gripping my thighs I wrapped myself around him grinding against his crotch his hands wandered my body his lips nipping my neck hungrily he reached up to undo my jumpsuit my hands grabbed his jeans undoing his buttons.
"REAPER GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE MAN" Bolts hammered on the door "I'm gonna shoot his fucking dick off" Reaper groaned into my neck I slid to the floor fixing myself "it's ok we need to come up with a plan on how to kill Uncle and save Beast" I mumbled kissing his lips frantically "REAPER!"
I laughed grabbing his hand "come on" I swung the door open skitting at Bolts shocked expression "oh shit did I interrupt again?" He glanced around him nervously "yes you fucking did"
I laughed and headed back towards the table glancing over my shoulder I noticed Reaper had Bolts pinned against the wall by his shirt his expression murderous.

What is your answer?’ Tus heard the ancient voice that sounded like sandpaper as he stared at the altar with the land and sky frozen in motion. The words repeated themselves over and over again, forcing him to answer without the chance of taking it back. Armed with a borrowed sword and cheap armor that looked like wood, he said aloud without hesitation, “Yes!” The altar hummed, a green light flickered in the surroundings, and Tus ceased to exist.

Crimson Gloom
Crimson Gloom. The time when the moon turns crimson, illuminating the landscape with its crimson glow. The time when the ‘doors’ to the Crimson Abyss open. One shall gaze into the abyss and gain its secrets and powers. Concurrently, the abyss also gazes into oneself, gaining one’s sanity and humanity. Dimensional rifts appeared spontaneously on Earth, bringing otherworldly demons along with the Crimson Gloom. Bloody battles were fought, noble sacrifices were made. Humans eventually sealed the rifts and successfully defended their homeworld. Alas, the seals were not perfect. The Crimson Abyss continued to exist, slowly influencing Earth and its inhabitants. Half a century of relatively uneventful years passed… humanity slowly descended into corruption, and the majority of them knew nothing of the effects of the Crimson Abyss. Is there only the dreadful gloom left to the world? Can one find brightness in the increasingly gloomy world? The youth who had gazed into the Crimson Abyss had no answer, nor did he care. He only wanted the Crimson Gloom to end, to forever seal the Crimson Abyss. A mistake and a twist of fate led the youth into a seemingly totally different direction. Will he forget his lifelong goal? Will he instead step back onto his initial path that he fervently pursued? Disclaimer: I do not own the image on the cover. Image edited on canva.com.
