Aria's pov:

"Aria, Mr chris Edwards wants to see you." Lauren, his assistant said to me.

"Yeah i'll be there." I said and fetch my files.

I walked to the head of architecture department's office and knocked on the door.

"Come in." I heard and opened the door.

"Hi Aria." He said as he saw me.

"Hi chris." I smiled politely at him.

"Congratulations on the wedding." He said.

"Thank you." I smiled.

"Please have a seat." He told me and i sat down.

"Aria, i know you just got married and you must be really busy and on top of that you were handed the biggest project of this year.

"But there is this other project, and i thought you would be the best to hand you over this." He said and pass me the file.

I looked though the file.

"You don't have to agree to it as you must be busy already and this will load up your work. But as i said you would be the best for this, or reccomend someone else."

Thinking about it, Allesandro also will be working late nights, this will keep me busy for a good time.

"No, i'll work on it." I said.

"Are you sure, i mean-"

"Yeah i am sure." I said.

"Ok then." He said and looked relieved.

"Ok, i'll take your leave, bye." I said and went back to my cabin and start my work.

When i looked at the time, it was already 3 p.m. oh shit! I missed lunch time.

I checked my phone and did not see any message from Allesandro.

Just as i was going to call me, i saw 'Hot stuff' on my phone screen.

Yeah Allesandro went there and changed his name on my phone. And changed my name to 'mia tesoro.' On his phone which means my treasure.

"Hello, husband." I said cheerfully.

"Hi, my love." He said making me smile.

"Did you have your lunch?" I asked him.

"Um-ye-yeah." He stuttered.

"You are lying right." I stated. I know he might be scratching the back of his neck, one of his cute habits.

"I haven't have lunch yet. What about you?" He asked me.

"I already had mine in the office cafeteria, and please go have your lunch before you forget." I lied to him because if he gets to know i haven't had lunch yet, he would come and bring food as if i haven't ate for an eternity.

He chuckled and said "ok, i'll have it. I love you."

"Love you too, bye."

"Bye." I hung the phone.

I searched my bag as there is always something to eat in there. I found a pack of oreo and kitkat.

Great!

I had my oreos as i did my work.

Soon, it was already 5 p.m and everyone was leaving.

I took my bag, my laptop and my files so that i can do some work at home as well.

I went on the last floor to Allesandro's office.

Again the receptionist glared at me.

"Biiissshh." I heard someone calling me.

Anna came and hugged me.

"Damn, you glowing, girl. Tell me your secret huh." She nudge me.

The receptionist was looking at us as if we were performing a live circus show for her.

"Oh, i know sandy bear is giving you the D." She said.

"Anna!" I yelled at her and she just laugh it out, i quickly made my way to Allesandro's office but not before hearing her screaming out " I need all the tea!!"

I opened the door and saw Allesandro going through some files.

"Hey!" I said and his attention shifyed to me.

"Hi, love." He said.

I placed my things on the small coffee table and went to him.

"Late night?" I asked him.

He smiled at me and motioned me to come to him.

I went near him and he pulled me on his lap.

"I'll tell Damien to drop you." He said.

"No, i also have work, i'll stay with you." I said.

"No, go home and relax." He said firmly.

"No, i am staying. If you don't want me to stay here with you, it's okay i'll go in my office and do my work there." I said as i got up.

He held me tighter, making me smile on victory.

"You'll stay here." He said.

I placed a kiss on his nose, he is so cute when angry.

"Love you." I said and he hugged me.

I ran my hand through his hair and he sighed.

He nuzzled my neck. He placed a kiss there.

We stayed for a while in each others arm.

When he broke the hug, i pecked his lips and got up.

I went to the coffee table, removed my shoes, and put my hair in a bun.

I sat down on the rug and removed a paper sheet from my drawing sheet paper container and started working on my plan.

After a few hours, i glanced up and saw Allesandro looking at me.

I smiled at him and he got up and come towards me.

He sat on the sofa and i placed my head on his lap.

"You hungry?" He asked and my stomach rumbled.

"I'll tell Damien to bring us food." He said and chuckled.

He called Damien to tell him to bring us food.

I let out my hair from the bun as my head started to ache and placed my head back on his lap.

He run his fingers through my hair.

"Tired?" He asked.

"Not really." I laugh out.

He kissed the top of my head and relaxed himself on the sofa.

A while later, Damien came with our food.

I cleared out the table and placed the bag of food on it.

There was chinese take out, we ate our food and went back to resume our work.

"Are you done?" He asked me.

I looked up at him and then at the time it was past 11.

"Let's head back?" He said.

"Ok." I said and gathered all of my things.

We got in the car and he drove to the penthouse.

We got inside and i went directly in the room.

I took a shower and went to sleep right after.

Working, after so many days off is really exhausting.
