Aria's pov:

Tonight, is our engagement party.

To be honest, i am freaking out would be an understatement.

Allesandro told me that all the business associates, partners of him will be there as well as other big business tycoons.

Paparazzi would also mark their presence there.

I mean i should feel happy as today the world will know that finally We are together but instead i am stressing out.

Right now, Anna, Neelam and I are in my apartment getting ready.

Neelam hired makeup artists and hair stylists for us who are helping us getying ready.

The makeup artist did a soft glam makeup look and to my suprise i am liking it. Wearing too much makeup is not really my cup of tea but she did not caked my face with tons of makeup, but kept it light yet glamourous.

My long hair was in old hollywood style curls.

As i saw myself in the mirror, i was impressed.

Damn! I looked good!

I went ahead and put on the dress.

As i got out of the bathroom, Anna said.

"Oh my god, you look so pretty." She came and hugged me.

"I feel like a proud mom whose daughter is getting married." She said and wiped an imaginary tear.

"Damn how i wish i was a man, you looking ravishing." Neelam said.

I laughed and sat on the edge of the bed and put on my shoes. I then added the earings that i bought and my engagement ring.

As i was waiting, i looked at my ring, a feeling of warmth and full of love erupted inside me. I unconciously started playing with it. A little smile formed on my lips.

The door bell rung and Anna was quick to go open the door.

Allesandro came in. He was wearing a 3 piece black tuxedo, with a crisp white dress shirt and a matching black tie.

He was looking as handsome as always.

When he saw me, he sucked in a deep breath his eyes roamed over my body and stopped meeting my eyes.

"You look ravishing." He said.

I blushed and Anna tried to supress a laughter.keyword tried.

I narrowed my eyes at her, she cleared her throat and vanished in the bedroom.

He took long strides towards me and wrapped his arms around me.

"I can't belive that you are actually mine. This feels like a dream." He whispered and i blushed.

He pecked my lips and said "shall we go?"

"We shall." I giggled.

We proceeded to go downstairs. Anna and Neelam are going to go a while later.

There was a black limosine waiting. The driver opened the door for us and i muttered a polite 'thank you' as i got in.

We sat in the luxurious limo.

Dude i am getting more and more nervous.

Allesandro placed his hand on my knee and asked.

"Nervous?"

"Yeah." I let a shaky breath.

"I am here." He assured and draw circles on my knee.

"I know." I placed my head on his shoulder.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." He answered and kissed my temple.

After about twenty minutes of drive we finally arrived at the venue.

Even though the window glasses were completely tinted. I could see the harsh camera flashes.

I took a deep breath and Allesandro rubbed my knee, trying to make me less nervous.

The limo was already surrounded by photographers and paparazzi, the driver honked to clear the path. But they were not even moving.

Guards came and managed to get a space for the car to enter.

Ooouff! I felt my heart beating more wildly.

One of the guard opened the door and Allesandro got out first. He put his hand forward for me to take.

I took his hand and i got out of the car.

He wrapped his hand around my waist and whispered in my ear " just look straight ahead and don't pay attention to them."

Gradually, we walked towards the entrance. We stopped, before entering the hall for them to click pictures. Questions were thrown randomly even stupid ones. Allesandro ignored all of them and after a few pictures he guided me inside the hall.

Gosh my eyes started to water with the harsh flashlights.

The hall was already filled with people dressed in dresses or suits.

The hall was huge. It was decorated simply yet elegantly. It was really sophistacated and beautiful.

I saw my family, and we went towards them.

Allesandro and my family came yesterday from london.

"Ariiia...you looking so pretty." Sofia squealed.

My mom's eyes started to water and i hugged her while chuckling.

My cute weird ass family.

We then met his family.

"Mio dio! You both look so good together." Mama said.

I blushed at the comment.

We spent some more time me meeting his buisness partners and associates. I was bored in their business talks.

We joined Luca who was sitting at a table sipping whisky. His eyes were red and he looked in a certain direction.

I followed his gaze and it stopped at Anna flirting with a guy. Typical Anna i smirked.

But what is wrong with Luca. He does not even seem to acknowledge our presence.

"All good brother?" Allesandro asked as he patted his brother's shoulder.

"Huh-yeah." He said with difficulty.

We sat down and he closed his eyes for a moment and cleared his throat.

"Dear sister in law did i say that you look absolutely stunning." He said in his habitual jolly mood.

I let out a small laugh and said "thank you brother in law." I said cheekily.

I started to feel really comfortable with him in this short span of time.

He showed his boyish grin popping his dimples that were a bit deeper than Allesandro's.

"Heyy biish." Neelam said as she pulled a chair, i saw that she was holding Anna by her forearm.

"Sit your ass down." She ordered to Anna.

Anna sat down and glanced at Luca.

When their eyes met Anna diverted her eyes.

Ok, something is wrong with them.

We were eating as a woman came and hugged Luca from behind.

"Lucaaa" she said as she placed a sloppy kiss on his cheeks.

Eww that is gross. What is wrong with that woman. Not trying to judgemental or anything but what in the fucking world is she wearing? She wore a golden dress with a cleavage going down to her navel, both sides had slits and lets not talk about the back because it was non existant.

"Congratulations, on the engagement both of you." She said.

"Thank you." Me and Allesandro said and i diverted my attention to Neelam's plate stealing the fried wonton from her plate.

She slapped my hand but i still took it.

"Theif." She said.

I stick my tongue out at her.

Neelam took the one from Anna's plate but it seems that she did not even notice.

I glanced at Anna and saw something flared in her eyes. Hurt and jealousy?

She was looking at Luca and that woman who now were heading to the dance floor.

Ooooookkkkk.ook.ok. wait whattt???

"Can i have the pleasure of a dance with you, my lady?" Allesandro asked.

"Um yeah." I wiped my hands and took his hand.

He proceeded to the dance floor and we started to dance.
