《My Mate is a Monster》Epilogue

I had a little bit of trouble writing this chapter, but I finally decided to just make it short and sweet.

I was thinking about making another part to thank you all, but then I realized that no one ever really likes to read those parts, so I thought I'd just add it all here.

SO, THANK YOU ALL. I never thought that this many people would actually read this book. I feel sad to end this story, but I don't want to trail the story on and on, so I thought it would be good to end it here.

10 years later....

Nate had made do with his promise, and I was surprised that my down-there hadn't broken after having this many kids. We now had five little ones running around, the oldest one not so little anymore, since he had just celebrated his ninth birthday a few months ago. I had popped out four boys and one girl. I was hoping that the baby in my belly right now was a girl because I knew that all of my boys would grow up to be just like Nate. Not that I had a problem with that, but I don't think I could control five of him.

My nine-year old, Mason, had a bad temper, but he would definitely grow up to be a lady's man. I was trying to get him to be less mischievous, but his dad was trying to teach him how to flirt and fight already.

Jackson was the complete opposite. He was seven, and as sweet as sugar. With a smile on his face 24/7, he helped anyone. I was trying to teach him not to trust everyone, but he still trusted everyone. Thankfully, Nate and I made sure that no one dangerous came near him, but I knew that we had to toughen him up. As a werewolf, he couldn't survive if he didn't know how to protect himself.

I had a pair of twins five years ago, and that added two more boys to the picture. Cooper and Jake. They looked identical, besides the color of their eyes. I was extremely thankful that their eye color was different, I don't think I could tell them apart without that. Cooper and Jake were troublemakers already.

I finally had a girl two years ago, and she was secretly my favorite. It had taken me months to choose her name, and I finally chose to name her Amara. She never cried, and I loved buying clothes for her. Clothes for little girls were adorable, and I couldn't control myself when I went to Carter's.

I wanted Amara to have a sister because I don't think she will enjoy having four brothers to live with. If I do have another son, I'm going to make sure that Nate doesn't teach him where to punch someone if you want them to pass out. He taught that to Mason, and the next day he got in trouble for punching another boy.

Today, all seven of us were going out for dinner for Nate and I's ten year anniversary. Usually we just stayed at home and ate, but Nate thought it would be a good idea to eat at a restaurant. I sensed that there would might be a disaster. A disaster that would probably include food being spilled or thrown.

But I was trying to make sure that no disasters would happen as I dressed the kids up. Nate had no idea how to tie a tie, so I always helped the boys with it.

"Mommy, what are we eating?" Mason asked. He looked like a mini-Nate in his little suit.

"I don't know, what do you want to eat?" I was trying to do Amara's hair and straighten out Cooper's suit at the same time.

"French fries!"

"Maybe you should have something a little more nutritious?" I suggested.

"Like salad, bleh," he scrunched up his cute nose.

"How about you have some steak, potatoes, and maybe some veggies?"

"Okay mommy!" he wandered off, probably to go look for Nate. I knew that he didn't actually agree with what I said, he was just going to order whatever he wanted.

Thirty minutes later, we were at the restaurant. Nate and I were sitting next to each other, and all of our boys were actually behaving. I had Amara in my lap, and she seemed to be enjoying her mashed peas. It was a peaceful dinner.

While we were eating dessert, I put my head on Nate's shoulder and laughed as Jake started spreading chocolate over his face.

On the drive back home, I thought about how fortunate Nate and I were to have found each other. I never would've imagined that I would end up with him.

But, in short terms, I was happy, my children were happy, and my man was happy.

So, life was good.

Hopefully nothing would ever ruin that.
