《Sleep With Me | KNJ x Reader》Ch 42 | King's Cup

"Wait, Nari is the one you've been all secretive about?!" Jin exclaims, softly punching Yoongi in the arm. They both look like twins tonight, wearing ripped denim jeans and loose white t-shirts.
"Yeah," Yoongi sighs, giving up immediately. "I'm dating Nari. It's been a few months. I'm sorry for keeping it a secret but she wasn't ready to tell everyone yet."
"Wait so [Y/N] didn't walk in on you changing? How did she see your d- Oh...." Jimin cuts himself off, his drunk mind putting the pieces together.
"Yeah I was buried balls deep in Nari when [Y/N] busted through my studio doors," he says casually, crossing his arms. "I don't know why she was looking at my dick though."
"Excuse me?!" you exclaim, turning to face him. "I tried to leave and you literally dragged me back into the room with that fucking cannon just swinging around."
The whole room falls silent before erupting in laughter, yours and Yoongi's faces turning pink.
"Christ," you groan into your palms, Namjoon laughing behind you. He doesn't seem to care much that you think Yoongi's huge — it's not really anything he can deny. But he knows what you look like shaking and moaning beneath him, knowing damn well you prefer his size anyways.
"Oh my god things are making so much sense," Taehyung laughs, leaning back against the couch. "Back when Namjoon couldn't sleep we asked Nari to try sleeping with him and she refused because she was dating someone."
You stiffen in your place and grip the edge of the cushion you're on, Namjoon noticing right away. You knew he only ever reached out because he needed you to sleep, but hearing that you were the last resort really hurts.
He quickly moves to sit next to you, grabbing your hand but you don't move, trying to remain unbothered to everyone else.
"You two kept such a straight face at the time," Hoseok chuckles. "I'm impressed. We kind of figured you were seeing someone but had no idea who."
There's a sudden knock at the door before Nari walks confidently through the entryway.
"Hey party people," she grins. "What are y-" she pauses as she sees all the curious eyes aimed at her. "Yoongi, what the hell?" she frowns. "Did you tell them already?"
"I kind of had to," he sighs, gesturing towards you and Jimin.
"That was your own fau-"
"What the fuck, seriously?" Nari scoffs, cutting you off. "I knew we couldn't trust you to keep your mouth shut."
Your face drops before your brows furrow in anger, your body tensing even more.
"Hey, watch it," Namjoon says to her, squeezing your hand tighter. "She didn't say anything. She didn't even tell me. I had no idea you guys were dating until a few minutes ago."
"Then what the hell happened?" she asks angrily.
Yoongi starts explaining everything and Nari's jaw slacks a little, taking in all the information.
"Aw man," she huffs, setting her bag on the counter. "Well, cats out of the bag now I guess. Let's drink," she grins, clapping her hands together.
You scoff to yourself. This bitch has no intention of apologizing.
"Can I talk to you?" Namjoon asks quietly, eyes pleading as you finally meet his gaze.
You let out a heavy sigh before nodding, following him to the balcony as he refuses to let go of your hand.
Yoongi's backyard is just as incredible as the rest of his home; a large wooden porch stretches across the back of the house and extends out over the creek, the tall green forest trees surrounding the area. The porch lights illuminate the area just enough to move comfortably.

Namjoon gently closes the door behind him, stepping closer to you.
"Will you tell me what she said that upset you when you met her?" he asks softly, tucking your hair behind your ear.
You bite into your lip, trying to decide if you want to tell him or not. You don't want to come across as that overly sensitive girlfriend towards his female friends. She technically hasn't really done anything. But her behavior just now indicates maybe she really did say it to upset you.
You take a deep breath, reminding yourself that communicating is always the better option.
"She told me that you tried convincing her you have no feelings for me," you mumble, staring at your shoes. "And that you only called me because she told you to."
You feel so small having to say it out loud, especially after hearing he'd asked her to sleep with him before asking you.
"It didn't really happen the way it sounds," he frowns, his thumb caressing the back of your hand. "I don't know why she phrased it like that."
"I hate that I keep being reminded I was your last resort," you say quietly, eyes still glued to the ground. You're not angry at Namjoon, but the weight in your chest is making it a little hard to breathe. "I know you didn't mean it like that but you said it to Hae-Ran too that night. That you only reached out because I served a purpose."
He squeezes your hand as you continue to avoid his eyes. "It's true that I was denying anything between us back then, and she did recommend I reach out to you. But that conversation was only a few days after I left your apartment, and honestly I was terrified of you."
You look up at him in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"When I met you I was still pretty shaken up about Hae-Ran," he says softly, tucking another strand of hair behind your ear. "I no longer had feelings for her, but I wasn't really over the whole situation. And when I met you, we had those crazy sparks flying out of nowhere and it freaked me out."
Your chest begins to ease up as butterflies flood your stomach, making you tear up for some reason.
"I know you might see yourself as a last resort, but the only reason that's semi-true is because I had to put you there. I knew you were going to tear down walls I wasn't ready for. The idea of Nari sleeping next to me was easy because I knew I wouldn't feel anything."
And just like that, Namjoon wiped away all of the insecurities you've been trying to keep buried for months. You feel a weight being removed from your shoulders, tears threatening to fall from your eyes.
Yeah, communication is definitely the right answer.
"I love you," you whimper, trying not to cry.
"I love you too baby," he grins, flashing his dimple before pressing a gentle kiss against your lips.
"And thanks for defending me in there," you smile. "You telling her to watch it made me want to rip your clothes off right there."
"We can arrange that," he chuckles, cupping your hand to lead you back inside.
The two of you are immediately met with Taehyung, Jimin, and Nanami in the kitchen who've started moving on to the hard liquor.
You glare at Jimin as he makes himself smaller, knowing he fucked up.
"Don't worry bitch," Nanami huffs, handing you a shot of tequila.

Gross.
"I told him off. I told him no pussy tonight."
Taehyung and Namjoon snort and look away.
"It's fine, Nans," you laugh, taking the shot glass in your hand. "I want you to punish him but I think that might be more of a punishment for you than him."
"Oh thank god," she exhales in relief. "I really wanted him to turn me inside out tonight. But I would've abstained for you."
Taehyung and Namjoon are now full on laughing at their tomato red bandmate while you just stare at her blankly, completely unfazed by her anymore.
You all down a shot before heading back to the living room to find everyone else playing King's Cup. You and Namjoon take a seat on the floor behind the coffee table across from the couch, Nanami and Jimin adjacent.
(: King's Cup is a drinking card game where each card is associated with an action: for example, 3 is Me. So if I pull a 3 card, I have to drink. 6 is Dicks. If I pull a 6, all the guys have to drink. Every time a card is pulled, it gets placed underneath the tab of a beer can. Cards get stuffed underneath until someone pops the can. Loser has to chug.)
"We already started but you guys can join," Jin smiles. "It's your turn [Y/N]."
You reach over and pull a 2. 2 is You.
"You drink," you point to Yoongi with a smirk.
He glares at you before taking a sip of his whiskey.
"Don't look at me like that," you glare right back. "That's what you get for trying to blame me even though you're the dumbass."
Everyone laughs except Yoongi, even Nari. You slip the card under the opener on the hard seltzer in the middle of the table while Namjoon reaches for a card. He pulls a seven.
Everyone immediately points to the ceiling besides Taehyung, who wasn't paying attention. "Fuck," he mutters, taking a swig of his beer.
Everyone goes around drawing more cards and laughing at each scenario. It's Jin's turn again and he pulls a Jack— Never Have I Ever.
"Ugh I always lose this," Nanami and Taehyung groan at the same time.
"Okay losers," Jin smiles, holding up all five fingers. "Never have I ever slept with anyone in this room."
"Yes!" Taehyung smirks, pumping his fist in excitement as the six of you put a finger down and take a swig.
"Okay," you huff, setting your drink back down. "Never have I ever slept with a celebrity outside this room."
Every single one of them takes a drink, including Nanami and Nari as you cross your arms in triumph. You glance up at Namjoon swallowing the vodka cranberry V made him.
"I don't want to know who," you say playfully. "Actually no wait, please just tell me it wasn't IU. I don't want to have to unstan my wife."
"It wasn't IU," he snorts as you sigh in relief. "Okay never have I ever had a threesome."
You, Nanami. Taehyung, and Jimin take a swig from your drinks. "Wait you have?" Namjoon asks you, surprised.
"Please tell me it was with Nanami," Jimin licks his lips, earning a punch to his thigh from her.
It wasn't. You had a drunken threesome with your ex Jungkook and his best friend one time. They Eiffel towered the fuck out of you. You don't regret it but you don't have any plans of doing it again. Ironically his best friend ended up fucking you way better than he did, and your moans made it obvious. It made the whole group dynamic uncomfortable after that.
You feel Namjoon stiffen next to you, but it doesn't seem to be from anger, it's more curiosity.
"Unfortunately it wasn't," you smirk, winking at Nanami. "But babe if you're ever down just let me know."
"We don't need the men," she says flatly, no ounce of humor in her voice. "Let's go fuck right now."
"No," Namjoon frowns, snaking his arms around your waist.
A smug smile stretches across Nanami's face as her arms cross over her chest. "Why? Afraid I'm going to steal your woman?"
"Yes, actually," he says, making the whole room laugh.
"Wait, Nari," Jimin turns to her, changing the subject. "Why did I think you and Jungkook had a thing?"
"What?!" she exclaims, looking mortified. "JK is adorable but he's almost ten years younger than me. I'm not into minors."
"JK is anything but a minor," Taehyung laughs. "That man is a freak. Plus he likes older women."
"Yeah I think you're lying," Jimin smirks with a hint of mischief behind his eyes, leaning forward on his elbows. "My turn, never have I ever slept with a man named Jungkook."
Nari confidently raises an eyebrow, staring into him as she keeps her drink on the table. Everyone but Nanami, who has an amused grin on her face, chokes when they see you raise up your rum and coke to swallow it down.
"Wait what the fuck?" Nari snaps her head towards you.
"I'm out of my drink," you frown at your empty cup ignoring her, Nanami busting out in laughter. "I'll be back."
You stand up to walk towards the kitchen before Namjoon grips your wrist. "You're not going to explain anything?" he asks. You look down at him and his eyes don't show any anger, just pure confusion.
"Jungkook is her ex," Nanami snorts, confusing the room even more.
"Wait, what is happening?" Taehyung asks, rubbing his temples. "[Y/N] fucked our golden maknae without telling us?"
"Not Jeon Jungkook," you laugh, tilting your head back. "I've never even met your JK. I dated a guy named Jungkook when I first moved here." You move your gaze towards Jimin, "Your statement was you've never slept with a guy named Jungkook so I drank."
"Oh god," Hoseok exhales, everyone else following suit. "I thought this was about to get weird."
You laugh as Namjoon releases your wrist. "Anyone need anything while I'm up?"
You head to the kitchen to refill your cup and grab a few beers for the table. You decide to make your drink watered down, knowing you can't get drunk since you drove.
"Where is Jungkook anyway?" you ask, returning to the room, handing Namjoon the beers in your hands to pass around.
"He got stuck at the studio but said he's still coming, he just doesn't know how late he'll be," Jimin answers, taking a beer from Namjoon.
Leaning over he hands one to Nari and she smiles at him.
"Thanks, Joon."
Namjoon stiffens as soon as that nickname leaves her mouth, your body instantly filling with rage.
This bitch must be out of her fucking mind.
There's no way she just called him that. That's your name for him. You haven't heard anyone else call him that until now. Also, why the fuck is she thanking your boyfriend when you're the one who grabbed her the drink? You tense your jaw and press your tongue to your cheek, Namjoon feeling the hot anger radiating off of you.
He grabs your hand and sets you back in your seat as everyone else starts talking about something else, leaning over to your ear to whisper, "I swear to you she has never called me that before."
He thinks that statement helps but it doesn't. Because now you really think she's doing it on purpose. You grip your cup and stare down in anger, unsure of what to do. You aren't about to cause a scene at the first BTS get-together you've been invited to, so you take a swig of your drink and decide to ignore it for now.
Namjoon scoots himself closer and puts his hand on your thigh. You look up at him and see nothing but nervousness and confusion.
"I'm not going to be mad at you, Joo- Namjoon," you say quietly, grimacing as you correct yourself. "As long as you continue to handle her appropriately, my irritation will only be directed at her."
He relaxes slightly, trying to remind himself you are not his psychotic ex that would get angry at the drop of a hat.
You feel him snake his arm around your waist, pulling you closer and pressing his soft lips against your cheek before hovering his mouth over your ear. "I love you so much," he whispers, causing your breath to hitch and goosebumps to spread over your skin at his sudden confession.
You grip your cup tighter as he rests his other hand on your inner thigh, giving it a light squeeze. "I can't wait to take you back home and prove it to you all night long."
I'm going to fucking explode. I don't know if I can handle drunk Namjoon.
His hot breath tightens the skin around your neck, making your chest constrict from the butterflies — making you feel like a nervous high schooler again. You smell the liquor on his breath, which is probably what's prompting him to say this, but you don't mind.
Jhope looks over at the two of you, noticing your face turning the same shade as your outfit.
"Can you guys not?" he huffs. "You two always remind me just how single I am."

The Emperor's Concubine
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] The heroine is good and the villainess is evil. That was the absolute truth. That rule was undeniable as well as the fact that only the heroine would receive true love and her happy ending. Likewise, the malicious villainess would always suffer and leave the stage to clear the path for the perfect heroine in the end. So, for Blanche it felt like her world came crashing around her when she remembered the truth about her life. As the villainess in the typical romance novel “To Be Empress” she was fated to be condemned and abandoned by her lover. No matter how devoted she was to Theodore Estien, the emperor of Artias, she would only be the bratty concubine that would obstruct the heroine, who happened to be Theodore's lawful wife and the empress. In the end, the villainess would be deserted and executed. It was destined to happen like this, and yet she couldn't give up. She had to change the future. Preventing the romance between the main characters would get her killed. Much like trying to steer away from the enemies' intrigues, in which she was already caught up, would. But neither the heroine nor the emperor's political rivals would change the fact that Blanche loved the man that was supposed to be the heroine's. And no matter what happened she would always stay by her lover's side. So she wouldn't just follow the book's storyline and let her own doom arrive. Blanche would survive while trying to suppress all of the selfish desires that had made her the villainess. But was she truly fine with that? Did she not desire more than just surviving? Did she even have the right? Could the villainess ask for a happy end? Was she too brazen if she just wanted to stay with the man she loved and receive his affection? And wasn't there a bit more to this novel than she remembered? She didn't know and in the end that mattered little when the world around her changed with each day as more and more questions about the future and the past arose. "The Emperor's Concubine" will be updated thrice a week (usually on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) *The Profanity tag was added due to the characters' occasional swearing, which should not happen too often.
