《Sleep With Me | KNJ x Reader》Ch 2 | Your Name

"Hi, thanks so much for saving me back there. I'm Kim Namjoon."
What the fuck what the fuck what the fuck what the fuck-
You slowly reach out to connect the handshake. "You're welcome," you mumble, eyes still huge.
You're simply in autopilot mode.
You used to be a huge BTS fan. Well, you're still a fan, but not as big of a fan since you moved overseas. You suppressed your inner Army because you didn't want to come across as an obnoxious koreaboo. You also didn't want people to think you only moved here for BTS, which unfortunately, happens more than people think.
You both stand there for a second, and Namjoon clears his throat, snapping you back to reality.
"Oh wow, sorry," you nervously giggle, pulling your hand back. "It's just so weird seeing you with my own eyes. I mean I've been to a few concerts, but I was in the nosebleeds."
"Oh really?" Namjoon asks, lifting his eyebrows. "You're Army?"
Goddam he is beautiful. It's taking everything you have to not drool.
"Of course," you smile, pointing to your Chimmy pillow.
He turns and laughs, walking towards the yellow plushie. "Is Jimin your bias?"
"Yeah," you shrug. "Don't get me wrong I'm OT7, but there's something about him and I can't really put my finger on it."
You know exactly what it is. It's his body rolls that make you want to yeet yourself off your eighth story balcony. But you won't be admitting that to Kim Namjoon.
Namjoon stares at you for a second, the atmosphere shifting uncomfortably. He purses his lips together before speaking. "Did you know we were in the area?"
You immediately tense up.
Oh shit. Maybe admitting I am Army was a bad call. What if he thinks I purposely lured him in here?
You quickly raise your hands up in innocence. "N-no I swear," you stutter, taking a step back. "I didn't even know it was you being chased. I thought you were a trainee or something."
He eyes you up and down for a moment.
You understand why he's skeptical. He has to be. God knows what he's been through with toxic fans.
"How did you even get separated?" you quickly ask. "The reason I figured it was a newbie was because all of the bigger groups are heavily guarded."
He pauses again, just looking at you. This time you choose to wait in the uncomfortable silence. You don't want to word vomit and come across even more suspicious.
He then takes a deep breath, pinching the bridge between his eyes. "I'm sorry for being suspicious of you. I don't want to treat any fans this way. But the whole reason I got separated was because someone disguised themselves as a body guard and led me the wrong way. You'd think I'd be smart enough to realize that it was a trap but I guess not."

"Damn, you must've lied about that 148 IQ," you say with a blank face.
He freezes up, looking right into your eyes — his mouth agape at what you just said. A good 10 seconds pass by before you both erupt in laughter.
"It's totally fine, I'm not offended," you giggle. "You have every reason to be wary. I'm a stranger who dragged you up to my apartment. Living in this area, I've seen a fair amount of famous people and witnessed what they go through."
Namjoon gives you a soft smile that makes your heart nearly jump to your throat. "It really is unfortunate. 99% of our fans are so kind, compassionate, and respectful. It's just that 1% that pulls these kinds of stunts. It makes Army look bad and that infuriates me."
You'd forgotten that one of the reasons you started stanning BTS was their undying love for their fandom. The way that they make people feel worthy and appreciated. You love how eloquently they speak about Army, especially Namjoon. His speeches have always brought warmth to your chest.
"Well, not to sound like that 1% of Army," you say, "but you look like hell." And he really does. His skin is a bit pale, his eyes sunken in, hair disheveled, and still quite sweaty from his running. But even with all that he is still absolutely stunning.
It annoys you a little bit because you'd look like a New York sewer rat by now.
"Do you want to shower and relax while we wait this out? I have some clothes that my brother left here the last time he visited." You point towards your room across from the living area.
Namjoon pauses again. A shower sounds incredible to him, but he's still a little bit nervous about his situation.
"Ah, here. Take my phone with you. You can take my watch as well." You hand him your phone and start to remove your smart watch. "And my laptop is already in my room connected to the bathroom."
"A-are you sure?" he stutters, surprised by your gesture.
"Of course," you assure him. "I promise I won't be posting about you or letting anyone know your location. Whatever you need to feel more comfortable, I will do it. I can also sign a non disclosure if needed." You've signed plenty of NDA's before due to your line of work.
You start walking towards your room and grab your brother's spare clothing, laying them out on your bed. Namjoon slowly follows you in, setting your electronics down next to them.
Kim Namjoon is in my room. What if I just throw him on my bed right n-
"Thank you," he mumbles, snapping you out of your ungodly thoughts. "Now I feel even worse for suspecting you."
You squeeze his shoulder and smile up at him. "Again, don't even worry about it. There's men's shampoo and conditioner under the sink, but feel free to use whatever is in there."

"Thanks," he nods.
You step back out into the living room and close the door, sprinting to your couch to maul your Chimmy pillow.
What in the actual fuck!? Our President Kim Namjoon is about to be NAKED in my SHOWER?
You're flopping yourself around like a fish.
I must have saved an entire nation in my past life. I can't believe this is happening. You're basically stuffing Chimmy in your mouth trying to contain your squeals.
After flinging yourself around like a toddler for 5 minutes, you decide to turn on the TV to distract yourself from the naked god on the other side of the wall. You settle on Crash Landing on You, one of your absolute favorites.
About 10 minutes later, Namjoon steps out from your room in your brother's gray sweatpants and light blue tshirt. Luckily they're similar in height so the sweats are long enough. The shirt is a little tight on him, since your brother's a little skinnier than he is, so you're able to clearly see his biceps and the outlining of his abs.
He's got the towel in his right hand, drying the side of his head, his dirty blond hair ruffling around — the sight almost giving you brain damage.
"Thanks for letting me shower and borrow some clothes. Where do you want me to put the towel?"
You don't answer. You're simply staring, eyeing him like he's dinner.
Namjoon clears his throat and laughs, bringing you back to reality.
"Oh shit sorry, I was mesmerized. I think I read about a scene like this on Wattpad." You say bluntly. "You can just hang it over the door."
Namjoon almost chokes on his own saliva, then doubles over in laughter.
You sit there confused, and then it hits you that you just said that out loud. Your hand slaps over your mouth while Namjoon goes back to put the towel over the door.
Tell my mother I love her. I'm leaving this earth. I no longer want to live-
Namjoon comes and plops himself next to you on the couch with your phone in his hand.
Never mind I can live now.
"Oh, can I use this to make a phone call?" Namjoon asks, choosing to move past your Wattpad comment. "I need to call the team and let them know I'm alive. I don't have my phone on me."
"Yeah go ahead."
He dials a number and puts the phone up to his ear while you mute the TV.
After a few rings, you can kind of hear a person on the other end of the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey Hyung, it's me, I'm oka-"
"YAH!!" You both hear very clearly. Namjoon pulls the phone away from his ear because it's so loud. "You bastard! We've been worried sick about you!! Where are you? Whose phone is this? What happened? Why did you take so fucking long to call m-"
"Jin-hyung," Namjoon sighs. "One question at a time please."
You can hear an angry huff coming from the phone, making you giggle.
You get up and go to your room to give him some privacy on his phone call. You hear Namjoon telling Jin the details of what happened and where he is.
After a few minutes you hear a soft "Hey" coming from the living room.
You walk towards his voice.
He sheepishly looks up at you, his cheeks a light shade of pink.
"Um... I'm sorry. What was your name?" he whispers, but not quiet enough for Jin not to hear.
"You asshole! This poor girl saved you AND let you use her shower AND her phone and you didn't have the decency to ask her what her name is?! I raised you better than this!"
This time you're the one doubled over in laughter. Namjoon's cheeks flush to a darker pink.
"It's okay," you say, wiping a tear from your eye from laughing so hard.
Jin is definitely the funniest.
"My name is [Y/N]."
"Did you hear that? Her name is [Y/N]."
You almost start floating, hearing Kim Namjoon say your name.
You hear Jin speaking but can't make out what he's saying.
"No," Namjoon replies into the phone. "I think I just need to stay here for a bit until the crowd dies down." Namjoon glances up at you. "Is that still okay [Y/N]?"
You can do whatever you want daddy-
"Yes that's totally fine. I have the day off anyways," you say before you sink deeper into your unholy thoughts.
Namjoon talks a bit more with Jin, saying he'll give him a call in a few hours once there's fewer people outside. You hear Jin telling Namjoon he loves him 17 times before he finally hangs up on him.
"Sorry about that," he grins sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck. "And I'm also sorry for not asking your name. That was embarrassing of me. You've really helped me so much, and I can't thank you enough [Y/N]."
You give him a big smile, putting your hands together behind your back. "Don't worry about it. I'm living every Army's dream right now."
Namjoon smiles and his shoulders relax hearing you say that.
You suddenly hear a stomach growl. At first you think it's coming from you, but then you notice Namjoon's face turning pink again.
God how is this grown ass man so fucking CUTE?!
You sit down next to him, grabbing your phone from his hand. "Let's order food, then you can have my phone back. I'm hungry too."
He smiles at you, making your breath hitch. "Yes please. I'll make sure to pay you back in full."
