《Bound by Desire | Completed》sister affairs

Sundays were for relaxing.
I lay sprawled across Nasir's couch, telling him about what happened last night.
Nasir and I had been friends for a little over 2 years. He moved in down the hall from us and knocked on our door one night to borrow sugar.
He said he only needed a cup and he handed me the measuring cup to put the sugar in.
I honestly never expected him to come back, but two days later he showed up again with a bag of sugar and told me to go get a measuring cup because I wasn't about to rip him off.
We've been friends ever since.
"Ky I just feel like you fake as hell for not telling my good sis to tell her fiancé." He said while looking into the bag of chips he was eating, "He gone have an aneurysm."
He was well aware of what we did, and was also friendly with Ava, so there wasn't a problem with me telling him.
I laughed, "I did tell her to say something. She said she'll do it when the time is right."
"Did she give you a date? A time? Because listen, somebody needs to be on the scene when he has that heart attack."
"Maybe after the wedding?" I suggested.
"Securing the bag. I knew she had some sense."
Rolling my eyes, I picked up my phone to see if I had a message from Jaxon.
We'd obviously exchanged phone numbers so there'd be no need for us to communicate through email anymore.
My phone screen was empty, and I sucked my teeth before dropping in back onto my stomach.
Maybe I shouldn't have been expecting him to contact me if it wasn't concerning sex, but after our conversations, I kind of felt like we were friends.

He clearly didn't think that since he made no effort to talk to me since yesterday.
It was clear that we wouldn't talk during school hours but outside of school was up in the air.
Maybe this aspect should've been discussed too.
I looked up as Eric, Nasir's.... boyfriend, walked into the living room.
He didn't acknowledge myself or Nasir, instead looking through the peephole to see if anybody was in the hallway before slipping out.
Turning my nose up, I looked at Nasir, "Still don't know why you let him treat you like that."
Eric was as gay as they came.
Nasir was too but he was out of the closet, not trying to hide his interest in men, while Eric refused to acknowledge his sexual preferences. He instead chose to appear as straight to maintain his "image" in our neighborhood.
How funny.
So Nas was his secret. He slept here, ate here, even bathed here, but wouldn't be caught dead in this apartment by anybody.
"It took years for me to come out." He responded, not looking at me, "He'll do it when he's ready."
I kept my thoughts to myself, once again checking my phone.
"You got a new man I don't know about?"
"We're not together." I replied.
"But it's someone?"
I paused to think of what to say, "He pays me to only have sex with him."
I'd long stopped expecting judgment from Nasir. He wasn't that type at all, believing that people should do what makes them happy.
"So my sis went and got her a sugar daddy?" He closed his eyes and crossed his fingers, "Please don't let it be an old man with saggy balls."
The sound of our laughter was so loud that I almost didn't hear the sound of people yelling in the hallway.

I would've ignored it since this occurred often in our complex but then I heard, "Let me see my son Paisley!"
Standing up, I walked towards the door with Nasir behind me.
I hated that she always found a way to end up over here with all of her drama. My grandma had told her repeatedly to stop showing up causing a scene, yet she made it her business to continue to do so.
When I opened the door, I saw Jr's dad standing menacingly over her as they went back and forth.
I walked down the hall, "Can you please get away from my grandma's door? Go argue in the street or something."
"Kyser call the police." Paisley demanded.
"You call the damn police. Do it in the street."
There was no point in calling anybody since by the time they got here she will have had changed her mind about telling them anything and they'd have an attitude towards the person that called.
A.k.a, me.
"Man ain't nobody calling nobody. I just wanna see my son."
"Why?!" She yelled, "You don't do shit for him!"
Sighing, I pushed past her and into the house where my grandma was sitting in her chair looking sadly at the door.
I looked towards the couch where some man sat playing on his phone, and then back to her, who just shook her head.
So she didn't want to let him in because there was another man here, not because of his deadbeat tendencies.
My sister acts like how I imagined my mother must've been. An irresponsible woman who didn't need children but managed to have them anyway.
Paisley had the displeasure to have been raised for four years by her and I believe it shows.
I walked to the back where I shut my room door and pretended to not hear the continued yelling.
______
author's note: paisley as a character means so much to me bc this is the first time i've based a character off a person in my actual life. it makes me sad to write ab her lol.

Maybe it would have been a good idea not to wish for a harem? Completed
Mackay and Seff were two typical high school boys, happily making grandiose fantasies about their future relationships with girls. Of course, in reality, neither knew a single girl to even talk to, let alone do anything more. So, one day, in one of their reality free discussions, they each made a wish for a harem. They got their wishes. Sort of... Things get complicated. Very complicated. They may come to regret their wishes. Oh, they also get mixed up with at bit of a police procedural. This story has multiple characters and multiple Points of View. Every POV change is clearly marked with a new header. Inside each POV section, the POV character’s thoughts are in italics. This fiction is fully written and proof read (that is, a poor man’s proof read with the help of Word). It comes to about 90,000 words (about 330 RoyalRoad pages). It will be published in 19 chapters, roughly one chapter per day. Reviews and comments are much appreciated. And if you actually read all the way to the end, I will be extremely grateful if you could post a comment saying so. After all, the whole point of me publishing this is to share the story with at least one other person, and to know about it. And, yes, I don’t have any graphic artist skills. How did you guess?
