Tall, black wavy hair covered his forehead, fair skin and frosty blue eyes which were currently starting at the pocket watch in his hand. He looked like he was in his mid 20's.

A sigh left his pink thin lips and a frown found its way on his handsome features.

I stared at him. It was hard not to.

His beautiful eyes met mine and at that moment, time stopped.

Wind rushed through us (again),ruffled his wavy black hair......

And.....

I could hear the wedding bells.

Soon a breathtaking smile took place on his lips, his face lit up as he made his way towards me.

My mind was blank and all I could imagine was my wedding with this piece of art.

And when he reached in front of me, he hugged me.

Fucking hugged me.

"I missed you..." His deep voice whispered in my ear.

That's it! I'm getting my wedding gown ready and we will go to Japan for our honey-

"...my dear sister."

Crack.

If you're wondering, that's the sound of my hopes and dreams getting shattered.

But wait.....

Adailia has a brother?!?!

Isn't that illegal? Only one child is permitted by the laws of Obelia. And he looks older than Adailia, that makes Adailia an illegitimate child. Wow! This can be one of the ways Traashid can use against Adailia and kill her in future.

Besides, was he even mentioned in the novel? Hmm... Was he the one who kidnapped people and then tortured and killed them? Wait no! That's a different book I read on the same day (the day of my death). Ugh- reading so many books always ends up with me getting the plot mixed up.

Not to mention, they look nothing alike. Aren't siblings supposed to look at least a bit similar?

I looked up and examined his handsome features. He has frosty blue eyes like the Archduchess and black hair like the Archduke.

Wait a second... Don't I have the same hair colour as the Archduchess and same eye colour as the Archduke?

I can't believe that the author of this novel made their characters look like that? I mean normally sibling would look similar, not just a younger version of their mother and father with a few features swiped. Things like these always remind me that I'm stuck in a novel.

"Lia?" He said giving me a confused look and I snapped out of my thoughts.

Quick say something!!

"I missed you too, Oppa*!" I said smiling.

He stiffened instantly and that's when I knew, I said something out of character.

Shit! But how am I supposed to know what Adailia acts like around her brother? I don't even remember his character.

Maybe saying Oppa was a wrong move. This novel has a western setting, but I think a few Korean words were used here and there since the author originally wrote this novel in Korean, though I was reading it's translated version.

But what's done is done.

"....Say that again." Adailia's Oppa said.

"I missed you."

"No after that." He said.

".......What did I say after that?" I asked, isn't that the only thing I said?

"That..o-o"

"'O' what?"

"That-that!"Adailia's Oppa tried to say something but didn't.

" What are you trying to say Oppa?" I asked him, accidentally adding the 'Oppa' even though he looked younger than my previous self.

"That!" He exclaimed and that's when it clicked me.

"Oh, Oppa? You want me to say Oppa?"

His face beamed and then he nodded.

"Oppa." I said and he smiled brightly and then in a swift move he lifted me up by his muscular arms and he started to turn me around like a baby.

"I'm so happy!" Said Adailia's Oppa, still twirling me in the air.

Normally, this would have been a super cute scene and would have gotten a lot of 'aww's from me.

That's if I wasn't the one experiencing that.

First of all, we were still in the parking area and a lot of people we're looking at us ( like we both had godly looks so it was hard to not to look).

Then this twirling thing was making me nauseous and I felt like throwing up, cause never in my 29 years of life, had I been lifted like a baby by a handsome stranger (who also happened to be my Oppa).

If I hadn't died from embarrassment yet, I'm sure I will when he accidentally drops me.

Shit! How do babies deal with this? It's so scary!

"Stop!" I said, angrily.

But he didn't.

"Lord Aiden, please let go of lady Adailia. She might-" A knight who always escorted me said but was cut off when Aiden hissed, "Shut up! I'll do whatever I want with my sister."

And twirled me even faster and that's when I lost it.

"Brother," I said sternly, "Let go of me before I kick you where it hurts the most."

I think only close friends and family can call someone without the use of their title and since I'm younger than him (though not mentally) so it might sound rude to just call him Aiden.

He stopped and then quickly put me down.

Adailia must have done it before if he reacted like this.

"Why aren't you calling me 'Oppa'?" He whined.

"Because I'm angry. I'm a grown-up now. How can you embarrass me like that?" I huffed.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I was just so happy to see you after such a long time that I forgot my manners." He said and got another huff out of me.

"What can I do to make up for that?" He looked at me with those pleading eyes which I couldn't resist.

That's when an idea clicked me.

"Buy me new clothes then." I said, all those clothes in my closet are so revealing that if I bent even a little, my front will me exposed.

"Of course!" He beamed and then extended a hand to me which I took and he escorted me to my carriage.

When I was about to get in, a voice came from behind.

"Big brother Aiden?"

Aiden quickly turned and then beamed. It was Seanna.

He then walked to her and crushed her into a tight hug, "How have you been, my little Anna?" He said patting her head affectionately.

"I've been fine, how have you been? You've been gone for so long." She said.

Wow! Now those two look like real brother and sister with same black hair.

"I know, I know! I missed my two little sisters all the time!" Aiden whined.

Then they kept on talking and talking ignoring my entire existence (which I didn't mind). Finally one of my knights interrupted them (earning a glare from Aiden) and told them that the Academy gates were about to close and we had to leave.

All of us hopped into the carriage and it started moving.

After a bit of silence (in which Seanna was finding something in her backpack to show Aiden) I asked, "How old are you, Oppa?"

"26. Why?" He asked.

Because you are exactly my ideal type and I would've married you if my luck wasn't so cruel and make me your sister. God Damnit!

"What?" I faked a shocked expression,"But I was sure Oppa was at least 31." I said gasping. Heheh. Now I'm gonna get my revenge.

He looked shocked himself and asked, "Do-do I look that old?"

"Of course! Even older than father.. Oh my God! Is that a white hair?!" I faked a gasp and pointed at his black hair.

He himself gasped.

"Where?" He said and before he could touch his hair, I said, "Wait Oppa! I'll pluck that out for you."

I plucked out a black hair and was satisfied when he yelped in pain.

If he does something like that to embarrass me again, I'll handpick every hair on his head till he goes bald.

I heard a snort and looked at Seanna she looked like she was barely holding in her laughter.

"Don't laugh Anna! It hurts!" Aiden whined.

Then the rest of the ride was basically him telling me how much he missed me and Anna and his family while he was away in Arlanta, another major city, for completing inspection, assigned by the Emperor. Seanna also participated in the conversation while I just nodded here and there. The two of them had real strong bond which made me realise how nice Seanna's life would've been of Adailia wasn't so keen on ruining it. Though half of her life was ruined when her biological father decided to sell her to the Archduke. Sigh. Such is the cruel fate of this female protagonist.

After we stopped, all of us hopped out of the carriage and made our way to a very fancy looking store. Aiden also insisted that Seanna should also buy something for her and when she looked at me to see my reaction I just casually waved her off, my face basically saying, 'I don't care'.

I quickly picked up few pretty and decent looking clothes and Aiden was speechless when I only got myself 20 dresses.

"Are you sure they are the only ones you want and nothing else?" He asked.

"Yes."

"No pink?"

"Yes."

"How long was I gone for?" He questioned more to himself. He must be surprised by the sudden change in Adailia's behaviour as well as sense in clothing.

"Let's get going. I'm done here." I said and left the shop, letting the knights carry my shopping bag. I never had such luxury in my previous life, might as well enjoy this while I'm still here.

When we were almost seated in the carriage a butler arrived in what I suppose was Aiden's carriage and informed him that he has been summoned by the emperor. That meant he had to leave immediately and he apologised to me for that, promising to be there for the dinner.

Once he left another idea clicked me. I could get some wigs and hoods and stuff and sneak out of the mansion to go to some bar or something. I really need some alcohol, it helps me relax.

And so I quickly made my way to one of the shopping streets located a few miles away from that fancy shop.

Never thought I'd stumble upon one of the men involved in the slavery system....

.....and almost get killed by him.
