He thrusts into me slowly and passionately, waves of pleasure surging through me by the second.

"Right there," I breathe out, feeling myself getting lost as I feel him in me.

He maintains his pace as he moved his hips against mine. He kissed his way down my neck to my chest, leaving love marks all over.

"You feel so good," he whispered into my ear and goosebumps prickle at my skin in response. I feel him go faster and I lose my breath.

"Fuck." He cussed as he started getting sloppy.

"Baby." I finally open my eyes to look at him and my whole world stops. "Jaesun," I whisper and he holds my gaze for a moment, still pounding into me.

"Jaesun?" I buffer for a second, staring at his face while he soaked in every bit of me. "No," I shook my head but I go unheard.

"No!" I jolt up on the bed, every inch of my body aching by the sudden action. "God," I groan leaning back onto the hospital bed, sweat trickling down the corner of my forehead as I tried catching my breath.

The dream felt so real to me but more importantly, why was I dreaming of Jaesun?

"It's discharge day!" Taehyung sings as he entered the ward, followed by a little dance.

I breathed out a chuckle as he sat himself in front of me. "You okay?" He finally notices my state and a frown crosses his face.

"Yea, I'm fine." I gulp a little, throat parched.

"Are you sure? You look a little out of it. Do I have to get the doctor?" He stood up, getting ready to leave but I shook my head.

"No, no. Everything's fine." I assured him. "I just had a weird dream." I picked at the knitted blanket provided, not daring to meet his gaze. I was nervous for some reason.

"It's probably the drugs you're on." He chuckled, sticking out a bag before me. "I snuck this in, I know you hate hospital food." He grinned and I took it with a smile.

"What did you dream about anyway? You seem a little flustered." He laughed as he stuffed the piece of bread into his mouth and I feel my stomach knot.

"Um, it was nothing really." I tried brushing it off, hoping that he'd drop it.

"Come on," he nudged me lightly, "was it a dirty one?" Taehyung arched an eyebrow teasingly, poking at me slightly.

"What?" I feel my face go hot as he continued pushing.

"I'm going to need the details, what were we—"

"It was about Jaesun." I quickly say with a pained look and he went silent instantly.

"Oh," he peeked into the paper bag, reaching for the bread. "Like I said, it's probably the drugs." He said with a nod, biting into the bread as his eyes now remained glued to the ground.

"Taehyung," I called, wanting him to meet my gaze. I knew how he felt about Jaesun and the last thing I needed was him doubting me with everything that was happening.

"Hm?" He hummed, eyes searching the empty paper bag, finding the slightest reason to avoid my gaze.

"Are you okay?" I asked, my voice low and soft.

"Yea, of course." He finally looked up at me and shrugged. "My girlfriend's having sex dreams about her ex, I'm swell." He enunciates the last word as he stood up, walking towards the window.

"Taehyung." I sighed. "I don't know what to say other than it was just a dream. Nothing to it." I shook my head lightly and he turned to look at me.

He breathed out stuffing his hand into his pocket, "you should eat that before the nurse comes in." He pointed at the sad brown bag that rested next to me.

I simply nodded, reaching for it and I stuffed my face with the bread. I understood why he was upset, I would've been too so I gave him his space.

After a few moments, I hear sniffles coming from next to me and I gasped. "Taehyung?" I looked at him wiping a stray tear. "Oh my god," I try getting up to walk to him but the stinging pain in my ribs prevented me from doing so.

"No, stay in bed." He waved me off, trying to get me to stay where I was.

"Taehyung, it was just a dream. What's going on?" I looked at him with confusion, not really sure why he was affected to this extent.

"It can't happen again." He whispered, massaging his forehead and I frowned.

"What are you talking about? Tae, please just come here." I tried getting him to walk towards me but he shook his head, rubbing his face.

"I'll be here to take you home when you get discharged." And with that he walked towards the door.

"No, Taehyung!" I yelled a little, taking in a deep breath and a sharp sting pierces through my chest. "Ugh," I dropped onto the bed, the pain getting a little too hard to bear. I turned to the side and noticed Taehyung's things on the side table.

His car keys and wallet laid next to the crumpled paper bag and I stared at it, puzzled. Where was he going without his keys and wallet?

"Hey," I quickly sit up straight the moment Taehyung walked through the door. "Where were you?" I asked and he brushed it off.

"It doesn't matter, let's go get you discharged." He took my hand but frowned the moment he sees me struggle to get up. "Are you sure you don't want to stay in another day?" Taehyung cocked his head to the side as he eyes my form.

"It's fine, it's just a minor bruising to the rib." I wince a little as I stood up. "Doctor Song said the pain will subside overtime so it's okay." I said and all he does is nod, remaining silent.

I got discharged and got into Taehyung's car. The ride back home was silent, none of us peeped a word. I didn't know what to say, especially after seeing Taehyung in that state.

"What happened back there?" I finally spoke out the moment we reached my home.

"Nothing, I'm sorry. I was having an off day." He ruffled up his own hair as he stared at the steering wheel.

"Taehyung, come on. We don't hide things from each other." My eyes pleaded with his and he sighed, turning to face me.

"Do you remember, some time last year you asked me why I was all about trust?" He asked and I nodded, wanting him to go on. "There was a girl, before Aera." He paused, leaning back into his seat.

"She lied about her feelings towards me. Using me just to pass time, I guess. But I was oblivious to this, I didn't see the red flags." He breathed out with a shrug.

"Then one day she left," he lets out bluntly as he looked at me, "found out she left the country with a guy she told me not to worry about." He licked his lips, pressing it into a thin line as he nodded to himself.

"Taehyung," I sighed, my heart sinking at his hurt. "Why haven't you told me about this?" I reached out to hold his hand, intertwining my fingers with his.

"I don't know, I guess I felt like I didn't need to? Don't get me wrong, I don't care about her but when you said you dreamt about Jaesun, it just brought me back to that low state." He sighed. "I'm sorry," he threw his head back, closing his eyes shut tight.

"Hey, hey. Don't apologise." I reached out to cup his cheek to get him to look at me. "Taehyung, I love you." I assured him, staring deep into his eyes and I notice tears start welling up in his eyes.

He grips onto my hand a little tighter, leaning in as he placed his forehead on mine. "I can't do it." He whispered. "I can't lose you."

. . .

A/N: sooo apparently the book's not ending so soon ahh.
