I feel myself burying my head into something hard and my eyes squint open, a smile instantly plastered onto my face the moment I was greeted by the most beautiful sight.

My face remained on his chest as I looked up at him with awe, admiring him in his raw and vulnerable state, feeling the pride take over me as I was able to wake up next to this man.

My finger traces his chest, memorising how his skin felt against mine. I slowly glide my finger up his neck to his hair where I moved it away to give a quick peck to his forehead. He moves slightly under me and I couldn't help but smile.

"Good morning." I whisper, still laying on his chest as he peered through his eyelids that were barely opened.

The next second, the widest grin breaks through his lips as he wrapped his arms around my waist firmly, flipping me over.

"Taehyung!" I laughed as he got me under him. He started attacking me with butterfly kisses all over whilst tickling me. "Stop!" I screamed out through my laughter as we were rolling around under the blanket, struggling.

He goes still all of a sudden, his head popping up with his dishevelled brown hair crashing over his forehead. He looked me in the eyes, "good morning." He sang as his lips stretched wide, his eyes almost disappearing behind the wide smile that painted over his lips.

For some reason, I couldn't stop smiling. It felt great, waking up next to him without having to feel guilty about Jae. Finally able to touch him, kiss him, freely.

"What time is it?" He asked out, his low yet soft voice reverberated through me. He plopped onto the bed next to me as I reached out for my phone to check the time.

"It's 11-" I said and instantly shot up, "shit." I cussed under my breath the moment I notice the flood of missed calls on my phone from my father.

"What's wrong?" Taehyung sits up beside me.

As if on cue, my phone rings. "Pa," I answered the call and before I could get another word out, he bombards me with his worries.

"Where have you been? I've been trying to reach you for over an hour now. You can't just leave the house without telling-"

"I'm so sorry!" I quickly apologise before he could go on, "I just went out to grab breakfast, do you want anything?" I asked, hoping he wouldn't question me further.

He huffs, "a cup of coffee will do."

"Alright, I'll see you once I'm done." I hung up and looked at Taehyung, "you up for breakfast?"

"So we're still on for tomorrow's movie date right?" Taehyung asked as he stuffed a piece of of pancake into his mouth.

"Yep," I grinned as I sipped onto my juice.

"Great, at least I have something to look forward to tomorrow." He groans a little.

"What do you mean?" I cocked my head a little as I stared at Taehyung who was massaging his temples.

"Apparently the new CEO misplaced a renewal contract," he groaned, "which means more paperwork for me." He says cheerily with sarcasm.

"Aw," I pout. "Well, our date's going to be fun and I'll make sure of it." I smiled and he mirrors my actions.

"If you did what you did last night, I'm sure I'll have fun." He teased, his tone soft and teasing and I choke on my pancake.

"Taehyung!" I gasped and his eyes light up.

"That's what you said last night too!" He continued to tease, "just that you were screaming a little louder." Taehyung stated matter-of-factly, not even reacting to my blushing state.

"Oh my god." I feel my face go hot as he continued to poke fun at me.

He finally let out a chuckle as he reached out to cup my cheek, "I'm just messing with you." He grinned, planting a kiss onto my lips right before leaning into his seat. "You're so cute when you're all flustered." He went back to eating.

"As I was saying," I tried changing the topic, feeling the heat burn through my cheeks, "we're finally watching Rebel Without a Cause." I took another bite of my pancake. "It feels like it's been forever since we've had one of our old movie dates." I said and he nods.

"It really has. But can we watch Scenes From a Marriage instead?" He asked and I frowned a little in confusion. "I've been wanting to rewatch it for the longest time but never got the chance to." He pouts a little.

"Scenes From a Marriage?" I repeated, not being familiar with the movie.

"You've not watched it?" He gasped, "that movie has literally changed my life." He holds his chest over-dramatically and I laughed.

"Hey, I'm serious." He crossed his arms over his chest, pouting more than before.

"Okay, okay." I chuckled, raising my hands in surrender.

"I used to think that marriage wasn't for me," he said and I cocked my head to the side.

"Really?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Yea, long story." He brushes it off. "But after that movie, I honestly wanted to settle down as soon as possible." He says light-heartedly but I freeze and he notices it. "I mean obviously not right now." He quickly states and I gulped, nodding my head.

Taehyung and I weren't even officially together yet, so I was a little taken aback.

"But we are going to get there one day, right?" He questioned and I stared at him blankly.

"Taehyung," I chuckled nervously. "Don't you think it's a little soon to be talking about this?" I asked and he goes quiet, nodding his head.

We continued eating but I couldn't help but pick up a vibe from Taehyung. "You okay?" I asked and he sighed, getting ready to answer almost as though he had already been preparing an answer in his head for the past few minutes.

"I just don't see why the idea of us having a future together would scare you." He said, dropping his utensils.

My lips part as I tried saying something but I end up staring at him with my mouth agape.

"Forget I said anything." He sighed, shaking his head as he finished up the food on his plate and stood up. I remained silent, not used to seeing this side of him.

"I'll see you tomorrow." He let out bluntly, his mood obviously down as he grabbed his wallet and keys from the table.

I was about to stand up to give him a kiss but he turns around on his heel, walking away before I could even peep a word. I slump into my seat, groaning.

"What the hell did I do." I chastised myself.
