Brooklyn Brown was your normal American girl. Raised by a priest for a father she's lead to believe that gay is sin and 'black' isn't normal. So when a African-American family moves to their hometown, her dad isn't very happy.

Amani Keita has a hard life. Because of his race he is constantly picked on and it doesn't help that every town he moves to the people are racist Catholics. So when he moves to this town there was no exception.

Can Brooklyn overlook her beliefs and get to know Amani, or will it keep getting in the way?
