"We are going inside, are you sure you wanna stay here?" Sarah asked again

"Yes, I'm sure" I smiled at her but even she knew it wasn't a real smile.

Brandon looked at me then pull his off jacket, wrapping it on me.

"Here, it will get cold out here" Brandon said

"Thanks" pulling the jacket closer

"I know I have toldl you this before but I will remind you once again. My brother really likes you, I think everyone can see that. He can be difficult sometimes but I hope you would understand" with that Sarah and Brandon left me with my thoughts

Sarah words were playing in my mind, "understand" I know Charles hasn't done anything to doubt him. I shouldn't think too much, if he feels comfortable he would share it with me anyway. I shouldn't push this topic.

I sat on the beach for few more minutes, which the sun was setting and the water shimmering from the golden rays of sun. Leaning on my elbow I closed my eyes, loving the sound of soft breeze and birds chirping in my ears.

Suddenly my phone started to vibrates, picking up the phone a message notification was there.

Charles: I'm so sorry for walking out so abruptly. It was an important call

He didn't mention the actual thing I was upset about. Not bothering more of it, I typed "no worries, where are you right now?" and press send

In few seconds, he replied saying about to reach our room.

"Yeah me too" I typed back as I gathered my stuffs and started walking towards the resort.

I smiled at every person who stopped at greeted me. Do they greet everyone here this way?

Unlocking the door, I walked in placing all the things on the round table. I went to bathroom to get changed when the door open.

We stood there looking at each other.

After a while I started walking to bathroom, when Charles stopped me.

"Wait"

I looked back at him waiting for him to say further.

"I want to take you somewhere" he said coming closer to me.

"Okay" I replied, as I inhale deeply when I felt the touch of his hands on my body.

"I'm sorry" he whispered resting his forehead against mine

"It's okay" I closed my eyes.

I felt a warm kiss on my forehead, making me smile.

"Now go get ready, I will be waiting at the lobby" he stepped back stuffing his hands on his pocket.

"Okay" I grin at him.

He walked out of the door and I went to take a shower.

As I was done talking shower I came into my room, searching for something to wear when I saw two box place on the bed. I pick the box and saw a small note on it.

I smiled and excitedly open the box to see a beautiful dress inside it. I pick the dress up, it was white and green color maxi off-shoulder dress with a front slit. Oh, how beautiful this dress is. Opening the other box, my mouth hang open as I saw the most beautiful pair of white stilettoes. But I can't wear it here because of the sands. I placed it back inside the box

I changed quickly into the dress. It perfectly fit me, to match with I wore a white flat sandals. I decided to braids the half side of my hair and then leaving it down in little waves. Putting a mascara and a lip balm, I picked my purse and phone and was about to leave the room when the door open revealing Freya

Whistling, she said, "where to hotay?"

"Charles is taking me somewhere" I chuckled

"Oh dateeee" she sing

"Maybe"

"I thought it's been a while we you know had a long talk. But I won't stop you, enjoy your date and I so hope you get laid today" she said grinning like a fool

"You have nothing else in mind. How many times do you and Aaron...? I trail off knowing she would know

"What do you guys think we do all day staying in room?" she said making my gag.

"Okay okay I don't wanna hear any of it. Now go I'm getting late" I said crunching my nose

"Wait, here wear this" she took a silver bracelet out of her wrist and then putting it on my wrist

"Thanks" I examine it, beautiful.

"Now go" she said, "use protection" she yelled across the hallway making me want to strangle her

I went towards the lounge area, to see Charles talking on phone. He was wear his suit today, not that I'm complaining. I might hate to admit but he looks ravishing in suits

I didn't know I was almost standing next to Charles when he turned his head back to see, he was speechless.

"I-i will call you later, Joey" he ended the call now turning towards me fully

"Gosh, you look beautiful"

I blushed not being able to say anything. It's been more than a month with him but I still feel intimidated by him. Like I used to be before. The fluttering feeling never goes away whenever I'm with him.

"Shall we?" He placed a hand on my back as we started walking out, the sun was still shining

A car stopped at front of us, as Charles open the back door for me. The car started moving once we settled ourselves inside.

After 10 mins the car stopped in front of a beach. We stepped out of the car, when I felt a tap on my shoulder. Turning towards Charles my eyes open wide.

Flamingos.

Hundreds of flamingos, pink beauty and so graceful. Some were flying, making it look magnificent. I captured a photo, and the setting sun gave more amazing look.

Charles explained me that we can't go much near them as they are very shy, so we just click pictures together. It was so much fun to watch them flapping their wings and flying above in the sky.

I rested my head on Charles shoulder, sighing " thankyou for bringing me here. They are so beautiful" I hugged him

He kisses my forehead, "it's still not over. C'mon" he held my hand and we went back to car.

"I will have to put this blindfold on your eyes so that you can't see anything until I let you" Charles said making me more curious about surprise

"Is this all necessary? I will just close my eyes" I said as he started to put the blindfold.

"Yes, it is necessary"

I sat there as he put the blindfold on, asking me again and again if I can see anything.

"Here we are" he helped me to come out of the car.

"Can I open now?" I asked

"No not yet" he held my hands as we take small step. I can feel the sand beneath me and the sound of waves.

After a while, we stopped walking. When I felt Charles hands on my shoulders, "ready?" He asked

"Yes" I can feel the excitement in my body but I try to control it.

He slowly removed the blindfold, as I open my eyes blinking twice to see clearly.

"Wow" I gasp at the look in front of me.

The path was decorated with paper lanterns. A beach gazebo decorate beautiful with white curtains and lighting also the long stick torch with fire looking aesthetic where a table and chairs were arranged in the middle of it. The difference color of sky made the whole set up look more romantic.

He led me towards the center, as my eyes wandered around. My heart is beating wildly, it's overwhelmed by emotions.

"You did" I wave my hands around "all this?"

"I had some help" he replied as he pulled a chair for me and then took his seat

"Help?" I asked confused because Aaron and Brandon were with me all day.

When he was about to answer a man approached us. He is the resort manager.

"Mr Maxwell, Ma'am" he greeted us

"Mr Johnson" Charles nodded his head

"Hope you liked the setup"

"Yes, we did" he looked at me and smile

"Food will be here in a few minutes" with that he left

"I didn't know this resort helps to set up date night" I said sipping my water.

"Yes they do, if it's the owner of the resort" he replied

I choked on my water, coughing. Charles came and patted on my back.

"You own this resort?" I asked flabbergasted

"Yes" he smirked

"And I wondering why they were always greeting me and smiling at me"

"I thought you would knew, as the manager came the day we arrived greeted us and arranged all my meetings in my meeting room"

"I didn't notice, I didn't even know you were in some meeting room" I replied feeling stupid

"It's okay" he chuckled

"I can never get used to the lifestyle you have"

He grab my hand softly in his, "I'm happy that you're interested in me not my lifestyle"

I smiled at him. The helpers came and placed the food on the table. Ravioli with spinach pesto, lasagna, grilled veggies wrap, steak and some sea food I don't even know their names were now arranged on our table.

When they left, I was about to serve to Charles but I couldn't. Seeing my discomfort he chuckled saying he would serve himself.

We dig into our food and talking about the vacation and I tell him I loved this place.

"It's so beautiful and relaxing place, thank you for planning this" I grabbed his hand squeezing it. He bought my hand to his lips, gently placing a kiss on it. This little things make me feels so happy. I wish I could tell him, how much I love him but I'm scared what if he don't. It's too early to say this.

"Liv?"

"Huh? Yes" I shake my head

"Let's take a walk" he stood up. I take his hands in mine, intertwining it.

I'm glad I wore my flats, otherwise I wouldn't be able to walk.

"Thankyou for the dress and for this amazing date" I clutched his arms

We walked slowly towards the water as the sound of waves soothing our ears.

"My birthday is in 2 days" Charles speaks breaking the silence

I pulled back, "really"

"My mom wants to meet you"
