As I walked inside the orphanage, I see children laughing and playing around. Seeing them so happy instantly brighten my mood.

"Olivia" Lily shouted as she saw me approaching them.

All the children stopped playing and came running towards me.

They hugged me and said they missed me so much.

"Did you bring cupcakes for us?" a little boy name Ryan asked.

"Yes, I bought them with me. But I'm gonna hand it over to Mrs. William okay?" I told them sweetly.

"Hello dear. How are you?" Mrs. William asked me while pulling me in for a hug.

Whenever I hug her, the warm feeling taking place. She was and will always be my mother figure. Everything I'm today is because of her.

"I'm good, Mrs. William. How are you?" I asked politely

"I'm good too" she said as we start walking towards the park area.

Jesus Orphanage home is quite a prominent orphanage here. It's beautiful and immaculate unlike some other orphanage home. People here make sure that kids are getting everything and are healthy. There's a park where children play, a small library too. Every year a charity event is held here and rich people donate huge amount for these kids welfare.

"I bought some cupcakes for children" I told her while handing her the package.

"You are spoiling them" Mrs. William laughed.

"Well what can I say, I love them" I chuckled lightly.

Mrs. William distributed the cupcakes to everyone and then we watched them eating happily

I smile while looking at them, they are so precious.

"Olivia, balloons. Balloons" Lily shouted as she came running towards me.

"I want those balloons, pleez" she said in cute little voice that I can't even ignore.

"Lily, that's enough child. Olivia bought you cupcakes now you're asking for balloons" Mr. William said in a not too strict voice.

The little girl Lily, looked at me with those puppy eyes with her bottom lip stuck out. Damn you can't ignore that cuteness even if you want to.

"It's okay Mrs. William. C'mon kids" I smiled at Lily as I held her hand and walked towards gate with other kids following me closely.

"I want the pink one" a girl said beaming

"I want the orange one"

I counted the number of kids and asked the man to give 10 balloons.

"These kids love you so much. They don't even love me a bit of it" a girl approx the age 15 said laughing

"Uhh yeah. I love them too. I see myself in them" I smiled at her then looking at kids

"By the way, I'm Sonia" she extended her hand.

"Olivia, nice to meet you" I took her hand and shook it.

We were so engrossed in talking that I didn't saw Lily walking towards road not being aware of the vehicles around her. But suddenly my eyes fell on her.

"Shit. Lily" I shouted as I ran towards her.

As she heard my voice she turned around and just then a car coming with high speed stop right in front of her. She fell down due to sudden act.

I ran towards her and kneeled down hugging her tightly.

I scanned her face to check if there's any injury.

"Baby are you hurt?" I asked her as she kept crying.

"My leg" she sniffles

There was a small cut on her left leg.

"Come I will clean this up" I told her as I carried her in my arms.

Suddenly a voice boomed from behind.

"What the fuck? Can't you take care of your own child?"

I slowly turned towards the person and saw a tall and well-built man about 6'2ft. His eyes are piercing blue and his jawline are so freaking sharp.

As I made eye contact with him, his cold hard eyes soften a bit and his tighten jaw loose up.

I cleared my throat and asked in a stern voice, "Excuse me? You were the one who was driving the car like a mad man as if you own this road"

His eyes shifted from cold to shock.

"You..." he was interrupted by Sonia who was calling my name.

"Olivia, is everything alright" she said as she came and stood next to me.

"Yeah, some people need to know how to drive in a normal speed rather than driving like a psychopath" I glare at the stranger.

"Listen up miss" the Stranger said in cold and bold voice. His eyes back looking dangerous

"I don't have time for your nonsense" I raise my hand up to shut him up.

With last look, I turned around holding lily in my arms and walked away.

"Sorry, Olivia" Lily said quietly.

"it's okay baby, just don't do it again. Okay?" I asked her softly.

"okay" she smiled.

As we reach the gate, I put Lily down and turn around to look at the road again.

I see that stranger was now in his car but I know he's looking at me through those windows.

Slowly, he pulled his window down, he locked his eyes with me and he did something that left me stunned.

HE SMILED.
