She hugged her knees keeping her gaze on the floor

"I want to go home"She said in her faint voice

" I can help you you just need to trust me"I said ,she looked at my eyes and my chest lightens when she nodded and took the hand I offered

We exited the building and to my car,she was silent very silent

As soon as we got home,she ran to her room while I went to my room and took a cold shower while her eyes and words traveled my thoughts

I sat in my office with my hand on the bridge of my nose my head rose when a faint knock sounded.Andrea with her suitcases in her hands,the other even has a part of clothes peeking out.

"M-Mr. Romano I -I just want to thank you and your secret is safe with me just please dont hurt me and let me leave in peace"She said fear and regret is seen in her eyes,she regretted everything...even meeting me

Seeing her in her suitcase was sending a pain in my chest.I breathed out hearing her words

"Who said I would hurt you?"I asked looking at her golden eyes silently pleading not to leave but I am sure I was confused

She was silent

"Good bye"She said then left

as soon as she went out my door my feet stood and about to run after her but I was halted by my thought

No one will love me...I am a monster...a bad person.I dont love anyone and no one loves me...Even if I force her to stay I will only bring her harm...

I returned to my seat and lit a cigarette.

After a while,I took another sip of my alcohol staring at the door,my phone rang

I pressed the phone only Cesare talks to me to against my ear

"Hey your wife is taken"he said casually

"What did you do?"I asked standing from my chair my heart pounding

"Well a group of men took her,you should hurry you know what happens when a beautiful woman like your wife is left alone with men like those."He said

I threw the phone and ran outside seeing her suitcases on the ground with a note

I crumpled the paper and get into my car and drove as fast as I can to the hotel that was owned by five brothers also called as five triangles.They build their money with pure dirty work.

I halted and ran inside,the place was filled with people,everything was normal.I walked slowly and cautiously.Then I caught a sight of a man acting weirdly,he was wandering his eyes as if he's looking for something as soon as he saw me he ran to the basement and I followed him.They are not trying to hide her,they are actually leading me to her.

I reached the place and saw Andrea tied to a chair crying

I looked around and saw a pipe,I quickly and grabbed it attacking all the people there.After a short while they are all on the ground in pain.I threw the pipe down and started to untie her.

"You came"A voice sounded and there was Cesare with Adriano who went to untie her.

I was right...its a test

After removing her bounds he took her out I moved to take her but Cesare stopped me

"Not to worry she is safe"He said with accusing eyes then I felt fear that he figured it out what I am feeling

As soon they are out of sight Cesare spoke

"You like her...You do know what will happen if you get yourself attached with someone...One must disappear and you know exactly who has to lose its life"He voiced

"You are mistaken,she is nothing"I said looking at him

He laughed

"I am not a fool boy,I saw the way you look at her and how you are determined to save her,I've seen the same with Selo,If she is nothing then why did you come to save her?"He asked

"Even if it is any woman put in that situation I will come and save them"I said

"Well forgive me for being shallow"he smiled but his eyes unconvinced

I gave him a last look then left

"You are warned boy,her death is in your hands"He said

She ran out holding her suitcases,fear took over her but her heart didnt want to leave.

She was about to put her suitcases in the car but Adriano stood beside her and held a cloth on her nose causing to faint.They covered her mouth and eyes.As soon as she woke up she realized she has been abducted. She struggled to break free but the her legs and hands were tightly held together

She started to cry and shout but her voice was weak because of the covering

The thought in her head was death...

The car halted and she felt she was transferred to another vehicle

She heard giggles of men beside her making her cry more in fear.

"Niccolo help me"she cried in a low voice while she cried

Then She heard grunts around her a smile floated in her lips knowing she is saved,she knew he came

He started to untie her but was stopped when a familiar voice talked to him.

But then the untying was continued.Her hands,legs and mouth are unbound but her eyes still covered.The man led her away from Niccolo

"No"She said and demanded to walk back but he held her

"You're okay you'll see him later"

"Adriano?"she asked

"Dont remove your blindfold"He said and she nodded in obedience.

She was sat into a car and felt Adriano leave

"Adriano?"she voiced

She squirmed hearing no one reply,she started to panic in her seat but a pair of hand held her

She quickly removed her blindfold and saw Niccolo looking at her in great concern

Tears starts to roll down on her cheek then hugged him but he pushed her back

"You are safe now Miss Frause"He informed coldly and formally fighting his urge to hug her

He clenched his jaw and walked to the driver's seat and drove her home.Andrea on the back spoke in her faint voice

"Thank you"She said looking at him in the rear view mirror

Their eyes met but Niccolo pulled away leaving Andrea looking at him with a pained chest.She thought she was afraid of him but now she's not,she felt nothing but great attraction towards him.

"You can safely leave now"He said as I held my suitcases inside the house

I dont want to leave ,Im scared what if someone abducted me in New York where Romano cant reach quickly?

I shook my head

"Then do you want to stay here?"he asked

I shook my head half heartedly,some part of me wanted to stay with him despite the danger in him because I am sure he will be there to keep me safe.

"You must be scared,the path is safe for you,now go"He said brushing me away"The contract is off"

Then I started to cry,this is it then the last time I am gonna see Romano

"But..."He spoke with great difficulty

"I-I love you Andrea,I thought I was just playing but I wasn't.I tried to kiss other girls to get you off my mind and for you to hate me but the thought of you bothered me more and I hated it,I hated that someone captured my heart,someone has become my greatest weakness..."

I was frozen in surprise

H-He loves me?

"B-but you said..."

"I pushed you away because I knew once you knew who I really was you would be scared of me and run away from me.But there was hope that you wouldn't but as soon as I saw how you looked at me in that underground ring I knew I was a fool to think that no one can love a person like me.There was fear in your eyes back thrn but it slowly melted away"he confessed

"Now go"he said opening the door"I cannot bring you any harm"

I tried to take a step but my feet froze in surprise from his confession

"Y-You loved me?"I managed to ask

He was silent

"Go"He brushed

I moved my legs and walked out

She left...

I closed the door slowly grabbed a chair and a bottle of whiskey and started to drink facing the door

if ever she would return and chose to stay with me I will defy my master's words and protect her with my life but if she chose to leave I will forget her and keep her in memory forever

She was walking to the bus stop in a daze,her thoughts full

She stood and rubbed her hands together then she felt her ring on her finger,she stared at it then her eyes rose seeing the bus.

She grabbed her suitcase and ran...
