Dear Bailey,
I'm sorry you aren't having a great time at your dad's house. My parents are divorced too. I don't really know my father. He left us when I was four. All I remember is that he was in the army. I think he might have hit my mom, but she would never talk to me about it.
You asked about my real home, but I don't really have one. The longest I ever stayed in one place was here in Florida when my mother and I moved in with my grandma. My mom passed away when I was a senior in high school. I spent a few months with my grandma before I joined the Marines. You asked what my business is here and she's it. I was informed early last week that my grandma passed away in her sleep. I'm her only living next of kin so I'm here for a few days to get her affairs in order.
What happened to those black glasses? You didn't have them on in the picture you sent. Tonight before I sat down to write this, I had to start sorting through a few boxes of my grandma's things. I found an old shoebox where she kept every pair of glasses she ever had plus some of my grandpa's. I thought of you right away. One pair had three tiny diamonds in the frame around the glass. She wore those before my mom was born because I can remember a picture of her with my grandpa in high school and she had them in it. I'm hoping I find that picture in one of these boxes.
I haven't had a lot of chances to read my half of the book, but last night I read until I fell asleep. I hope you're making progress on yours so that soon we'll have a reason we absolutely have to meet up. Forget fate or true love, one simply cannot leave a book ripped in half.

Tomorrow after work I have a few appointments I have to go to. I wish you were with me so that the whole thing didn't feel so morbid. There are many things I knew about my grandma, but what urn she'd like her ashes to be in is not one of them.
When can I see you again?
Love,
Lucas
P.S. Five Facts About My Friend Violet:
1) She loves comics-especially Superman.
2) She took high school math in 8th grade.
3) She is beautiful, but never wears make-up.
4) She likes girls. Really likes them....as in likes to kiss them.
5) She is not a threat in any way to you. (If you doubt that, please read #4 again).

I Can Hear Your Thoughts, but it's not like I'm Telling You or Anything!
''I can hear people’s thoughts without them having the slightest clue about it. And my goal to achieve in these 3 years of high school: Get rid of this ability until my graduation.'' The story begins with Yanagisawa Taichi as a freshman at Sakudai High, right before the entrance ceremony. He gets to meet a lot of people within and outside school; the seemingly overly serious and idolized class president, the constantly unpredictable and ruthless risk-taker, the twins no one can tell apart, the teacher that has given up on trying to find a spouse, and many more, yet no one seems to suspect his ability to read people's thoughts. Will he be able to keep it a secret? Is he really the only one with this bizarre ability? What's the reason of its existence? Everything will be answered in this light-hearted and comedic story that follows Taichi throughout his high school years as he struggles to cope with his ability to balance it and a normal teenager's life. NOTE: This fiction contains Japanese honorifics, so make sure you're a bit acquainted with them to fully grasp their meanings within the story! Also posting this on honeyfeed.fm

The Vampire's Pet
this story contains adult content!!!! read at own risk. I glared at the vampire before me, pressing myself against the bars of my 'cage' before dropping the glare and offering him my sweetest grin, "once I get out of her I'm going to kill alllll of you!" I swept my arms out wide, my grin turning feral, "I'm going to rip out all of your throats and see how you like your blood being drained from your neck." The vampire flashed his fangs at me in an equally menacing grin, "you can try that all you want, after the auction." I was tempted to spit in his face but I really did not want to be whipped...again. ~~~ Calla, an 18 year old human girl has always lived her life on the run, but was captured by vampires and forced into auction at a high end 'pet shop' where any wealthy vampire can buy her and proceed to do as they please until they decide to kill her. Pessimistic, rude, and short fused Calla is one hell of a handful, one most vampier's don't want to bother with...until him.THIS SHIT IS RATED MATUREin case you were curious this isn't labeled Mature on the wattpad rating thing because it won't let me change my fucking maturity thing.
