We are currently sitting down in Jason's office and this girl which I've come to know is Jason's sister is still glaring at me. I don't know what I did to her but she clearly doesn't like me and wants to get rid of me. It's no problem. I'm already used to people hating me.

It feels weird that Jason's sister does not like me too.

I heard Jason clear his throat and I looked up from my lap to him. I avoided looking at Jasmine so that I'll not see her glaring at me but I can still feel it burning my forehead.

I just looked at Jason and waited for him to speak.

"I, um I just want to say congratulations to the both of you. Caleb I know you are a good person based on what you did for my mate. I just want you to promise me that you'll take care of my sister too. I know that she is very stubborn and strong headed but take care of her for me" Jason said while looking at BFG. I looked to see Jasmine scowling at Jason but you can clearly see the love in her eyes.

BFG nodded his head to what Jason said and was mind linking him I think because they both nodded after a while.

Concerning BFG meeting his mate, I would say that I'm more than happy for him. He would no longer be lonely and would have someone to love and also be loved.

I just realized that I haven't congratulated BFG on meeting his mate, Jasmine. Since Jasmine does not like me I'm not sure she would want me talking to her mate. To avoid problem, I'm just going to mind link BFG and congratulate him.

'Hey, um I just want to congratulate you on meeting your mate. I think she does not like me, so......' I said while trailing off.

BFG was about to reply when Jasmine suddenly stood. She was glaring at me and was crying at the same time. She immediately ran to the door and went out of it while slamming it behind her.

The three of us quickly stood up and BFG was about to run after her. I quickly held his hand and shook my head at him. It was my fault. I don't know what I did but she clearly doesn't like me. I have to fix it. I don't know how I'll do it but I have to try.

BFG was worried. It's showing in his face and his leg that was tapping continuously on the floor. Whenever BFG was nervous he does that.

Jason too was worried but it was just showing in his eyes. If you looked at him you would think that he's calm but he's worried too.

I quickly went out of Jason's office in search of Jasmine. I looked down the hallway and there was no one there. I was still searching when I heard the sound of sobbing that was coming from a room. I immediately knew it was Jasmine's room.

I went to the door of the room and knocked on the door. The sobbing quickly died down. She cleared her throat and said 'come in'.

When I opened the door her face immediately changed.

Okay! She was not happy to see me. Shocker.

I went in and closed the door gently behind me. I don't know what to do. Should I go and sit on the bed? What should I do?

I just stood there and avoided looking at her face because she was still glaring at me.

Suddenly she started crying again. She sat on the bed and covered her face with her palms.

"Do you know how heartbreaking it is when you find your mate with another woman after you've kept yourself for him? Do you know that?" She said while sobbing.

Wait a minute. She thinks I'm dating BFG.

I tried to stifle my laughter but I couldn't. I was laughing so hard that tears started coming out of my eyes. To think that I was nervous before. She was just jealous. How can she think that I'm dating BFG. Me and.... BFG. No way!

She thinks I'm dating BFG. No way. Jason is better. I was still laughing when she started speaking.

"What's so funny? Why are you laughing?"

"Sorry. You said that me and BFG are together but it's not true. He's my brother" I told her while trying to hold my laugh.

She blushed so hard and was almost looking like a tomato. I smiled at that and was about to go close to her when she started speaking.

"Sorry, its just that you guys were hugging each other and you have a nickname for him and you are looking at yourselves with lovey dovey eyes, so don't blame me for thinking that he's your boyfriend" She said while crossing her hands to her chest and was pouting.

Awwwn! Look at the girl that was looking vicious and I thought she was going to tear my jugular, look at her being cute and pouty.

I just went close to her and placed my hands on her shoulder and sat her on the bed and sat down beside her.

"BFG and I are not dating. Well we are not even related. It's just that he saved my life and we've stuck together ever since" I assured her.

She looked at me and I knew she wanted to know how he saved my life but she also doesn't want to force me to say if. And I liked her for that. I just decided to tell her a little bit.

"Well my former pack wasn't very kind to me. They were not kind at all, so I um, I ran away and met BFG, I mean Caleb" I said while remembering that she was not happy that I call him BFG." He took me with him and saved me from rogues so we came here and I found out that your brother is my mate" I concluded.

"Wait a minute. Jason is your mate?"

"Yup" I can't believe that Jason did not tell his family that he met me. Is he ashamed of me? That's not possible because he has been taking care of me as if I was an egg. Fragile. So there's no way he is ashamed of me. It has to be another reason.

"By the way, I'm sorry for what happened to you in your former pack. And sorry for thinking that you and BFG are a thing. I shouldn't have jumped into conclusions". She said while mumbling the last part.

" No problem. I'll have thought the same thing" I replied while patting her shoulder.

"Now let's go and meet your mate. Oh! You should also know that BF..... Caleb is um, is mute. So you have to mindlink him. And please take care if him for me. He has been through a lot" I told her.

She didn't react when I told her that BFG was mute and her face didn't portray any emotions, so I don't know how she feels about him being mute.

"No worries, I'll take care of him. I promise. You have to do the same for my brother though".

I nodded my head at that as we moved out of the room to go back to Jason's office.

" Gosh I embarrassed myself by thinking that you and Caleb were dating, didn't I?"

I nodded my head and we both burst into laughter. It was hilarious.

We entered the office and immediately BFG stopped pacing and ran to us. Jason breathed a sigh of relief and motioned for me to go to him. When I got to him his eyes alone was still worried.

"I'm fine. We are okay. Just girl problem" I reassured him. I just said girl problem, didn't I? I'm already discussing girl problem with someone. I almost squealed. I swear. Almost.

Jason was looking at me as if I had grown two heads but I ignored him. I have to summon courage and ask Jasmine if she wants to hang out with me. I can't let this golden opportunity pass me by. We are already getting along so it won't be hard.

I took a deep breath and let then out and turned to Jasmine only to find her standing in my front.

"Do you maybe wanna hang out with me or maybe be my best friend. My ex- best friend don't think I'm cool anymore". She asked.

Guess what I did. I squealed loudly or we both squealed loudly when i nodded my head. The guys covered their ears at the noise.

Whatever!

"Sure. I'd love to. I was about to ask you that too". I replied her. I was beyond excited. My first friend. I'm not adding Bethany because I haven't asked her to be my friend.

" Well, since you already have a friend. Maybe the two of you could go shopping for your clothes,kitten. Is that okay?" Jason asked.

"Say no more brother. Hand over your credit card. I'll handle everything" Jasmine said while smiling so big.

Jason just shook his head with a smile. " Make sure you get everything she needs and if she tells you to stop do not listen" He said to her.

Why are they talking as if I'm not in the room? And I'm not sure I'm happy spending Jason's money. I mean he worked for it. I was about to say how I feel about that but Jasmine was already dragging me to the door.

"Bye Bro" She walked to BFG and gave him a kiss on the check and he blushed. Already? I've not even hugged Jason or held his hand. It's not my fault though. No one that wanted anything to do with me in my former a d if they did it was just to do their chores or for them to hit me.

But as Jason's pack is not like that maybe I should stop being scared. I'll take it one at a time though.

"Ken, Kenny!"

I looked up and blinked to see Jasmine waving her hands in my face almost hitting my eyes. I quickly removed her hands from my face while scowling at her.

"Oh please don't give me that face. I've been talking to you and you haven't been paying attention to anything I've been saying. So don't look at me like that" She said while rolling her eyes.

"Sorry. My mind was somewhere else".

" Yeah I figured. What's wrong?" She asked. Her face concerned.

I looked at her unsure. Should I tell her? Should I not?

"If you don't want to tell me it's no problem"

"No. Its just silly. I haven't touched Jason since I came here, you know. It's just that this pack is different from what I'm used to. You guys are so kind and all, so I don't want to get attached too much and have my heart broken. When I saw you kiss BFG. I was kind of sad that I haven't even hugged my mate. So... Yeah. That's it" I said while looking down to my feet.

"It's not silly. I understand where you are coming from. My brother and this pack are not like your former pack. And Jason would never hurt you like them. So don't be scared of getting attached. Just take your time. Just go with the moment. No pressure" She said.

I nodded my head at her words. Yeah, I can do that. I'll just go with the flow. No pressure.

"Thank you so much. I'll do that"

It was then that I noticed where I was. It was a garage with up to five cars in it. The cars were all black. I was about to ask ask why we were here when I heard someone call my name. I quickly turned to see Bethany standing there.

"Hi Kenzie, Hey Jazz. When did you come back?" She asked.

"Hi Beth".

" Hey Bethany. I arrived few hours ago and guess what?" She asked with excitement.

"What's that?" Bethany replied.

"I found my mate. He's Caleb. You know him right?" She said with happiness oozing out of her.

"Really! Oh my God. I'm so happy for you. Congratulations" Bethany replied with the same amount of happiness.

"Thank you" Jasmine replied with a blush adorning her cheeks.

"How are you doing Kenzie? Hope you are good?"

"I'm doing okay. Thanks for asking". I replied.

"Alright. I have to go now. I want to rush to the stores and get something's for Lizzy".

" Oh really. We are going there too. We wanna get some clothes for Kenzie too". jasmine told her.

" Oh that's good. I can go with you guys right or is it a problem? ". She asked, worried.

" No no no, its not a problem". Me and Jasmine rushed out.

"Alright, just gimme a minute. I need to take Lizzy to the daycare and tell Andrew where I'm going to so that he'll not worry about me" She said while running back to the pack house.

"Who is Lizzy?" I asked turning to Jasmine. Bethany has mentioned the name Lizzy for like two times now.

"Oh! She's Bethany's daughter. A very cute little girl. She's just Four month's old" She answered.

Oh! That explains it.

"Is Beta Andrew her mate. I heard when she mentioned the name. Or is there any other Andrew" I asked.

"Yes Andrew is her mate and we have another Andrew but we call him Andy instead to avoid confusion" She replied.

We stood there talking about minor things before Bethany came out.

"Okay! I'm back. Let's go"

"Alright, which car are we going with?" Jasmine said while rubbing her chin. I laughed at that. I always laugh when someone does that. Don't ask me, I don't know why.

Jasmine turned to me and repeated the question when no one answered the first time.

"Um, which one is Jason's. Let's use Jason's car" I said. It's better to use Jason's car. So if anything happens I'll know how to explain it to him.

Bethany and Jasmine started laughing when I asked the question. What's funny?.

"What's funny?" I asked. I really wanted to know.

"Darling this cars are for Jason. Just pick one". Jasmine said.

Oh! Wow.

I just pointed to one of the jeeps and we all entered it.

" Let the fun BEGIN". Jasmine screamed and we were off.

Its been three hours. Three long hours. We are still here. Jasmine and Bethany have been selecting clothes off almost every rack in this boutique. They made me test everything and chose the ones they deemed fit. I've just been changing clothes over and over and over again and I'm very tired and thirsty.

I've tried to tell them this since but they aren't listening. I can't move any further so I did the best thing I know that'll get me out of this torture. I sat down on a chair there and refused to get up.

"Ken, don't do this. Just give us thirty minutes and we'll be done". Jasmine said.

I don't believe her. She has said that like twenty times today and all were lies. I'm not believing her time around.

"No way. I'm not asking for food, just water. You've said I should give you more time for like twenty times today. I'm not going to believe another".

Jasmine and Bethany huffed and roll their eyes.

"Alright, alright. Let's go and pay so that you can go eat".

Finally! We started moving to the cashier when I noticed the two men that has been following us right from the beginning of this trip. I didn't want to say anything then because I wasn't sure if it was is they were following then. But now, I'm sure.

" Do you guys notice that those two guys have been following us since". I ask Bethany and Jasmine just to be sure that I'm not the only one that saw them.

"Oh them?" Bethany asked.

I nodded my head at her.

"Jason sent them to make sure that we, especially you are okay" She continued.

Oh! That was why he was not worried when we were going.

I felt for these guys because they have been following since noon and they must be hungry like us and bored out of their minds. I'll have to remember to get something for them too.

We hot to the cashier and paid for the many, many, many clothes that we bought. We weren't carrying any bags, the workers were.

I removed my eyes when they were calculating the total. If I look at the price, I'll faint. Jasmine took the advice Jason gave her very seriously. She didn't let me see the price tag on any cloth and chose many.

Our bags were taken to the trunk of the jeep and we went off to eat.

We decided to buy food to go. I also got food for the guys whose names where Derek and Alex, they were shocked but very grateful. They devoured the food in less than two minutes and I knew it was not enough for them.

We got to the pack house and Bethany carried her bags which was four and Jasmine's eight shopping bags. Mine was, well close to twenty.

The guys helped me carry the bags to Jason's apartment and I thanked them. I'll have to remember to cook for them later.

I took the few bags that I was carrying up to Jason's room and dropped it off in the closet. I need to go and thank Jason first.

When I got to the door of his office I saw Jasmine coming out of it and was looking very tired. I stuck out my tongue at her and she scowled at me. It serves her right. Next time she won't spend close to four hours shopping.

I went into Jason's office to see him sorting out paper works. He was looking tired too.

Grateful for what he did today and what he has been doing for me since I came here, I went to him and gave him a hug. He tensed at first, as if shocked that I was hugging him but relaxed later and wrapped his hands round my waist, drawing me closer to him.

"Thank you for making me spend your money" I said into his warm and very, very comfy body.

He chuckled and replied " You are welcome angel. I'll do anything to make you happy, love". He said and kissed my forehead.

That gesture made me feel warm and mushy inside. I felt love oozing from him and it almost made me cry. I blinked rapidly to stop the tears from falling.

Thanks for giving me Jason. I said to whoever is listening up there.

I moved back a little from him and looked into his eyes.

"Thanks for saying that. It means a lot to me"

He just hummed and his arms that were around my waist held me tighter.

I remembered the clothes that I kept in his closet. I need to go and arrange it.

"I need to go and arrange the clothes in your closet. I can put it there, right?" I asked him, suddenly unsure.

"Of course, yes you can" He said with furrowed brows and was nodding his head rapidly.

I quickly nodded my head.

"Alright. Don't spend much time here, okay?" I told him with a blush.

He nodded his head while smiling at me.

I turned and was almost near the door when Jason called my name.

"Hmmm?"

"Um, I'm very happy that you are already coming out of your shell,meaning that you are getting comfortable here. Do you know how that makes me feel? It makes me feel so happy that I'm doing something right. I just want this place to be the best place for you, love" He said it with so much emotion. I swear I cried.

I didn't have time to reply him because Andrew came into the office to tell Jason something. I said 'Hi' to him and left the office to Jason's room.

I was done with arranging my clothes in the closet. I kept my strawberry scented soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Even the make up kit that Jasmine bought for me was on a table inside the closet. When I told her that I haven't used make up before she almost had a heart attack, then she spent like thirty minutes explaining how each one works. I can't even remember anything she said except for how to apply lipstick.

I shook my head at that and started picking up the shopping bags. I packed everything and took them outside. After putting it in the trash can I went back inside. Jason have not still returned.

I am now lying on the bed bored out of my mind. I don't know what to do. I can't even take a nap because of the many thoughts going on in my head. Most especially what Jason said.

"I'm happy that you are already coming out of your shell, meaning that you are comfortable here"
