"Angel, wake up" I felt someone kiss the top of my head and squeezed my hand tight. I noticed that I fell asleep on Cloud's shoulder throughout the bus ride back home

The outline of the buildings and houses from outside the window is something I missed when I was at the beachside.

You don't get to see very tall buildings there or even cars that much since locals use motorcycles or bicycles as transport

"I'm home" I mumbled sleepily while a smile formed on my lips

"You're back home, finally," Cloud told me in a relieved tone

Everybody on the bus fell asleep, both the driver and Cloud were the only people awake during those hours. The bus has parked at the station and we all hopped off

The guys helped me with my luggage while the girls with for us at the entrance with the van and cars

Cloud leaned close to my ear "Ready to see your surprise?" He asked, the warm breath hitting my sensitive ear that made my face go red

"Mm-hmm" I made a small hum sound then nodded my head

My family will head home first since I can see that all of them looks so tired on this trip, our friends, however, will be going to the mall to go shopping for clothes college

I just finished Graduating, please don't remind me of college ugh

Nick and Nikki joined us in Cloud's car on our ride back to the penthouse

"Finally we're back! This could've all been avoided if one certain guy had just man up and confess from the beginning" Nick eyes Cloud at the mirror

He gave Nick a sheepish grin "I don't see you confess to Adeline" he retorted

"It's because I don't! That girl is violent, MORE VIOLENT THAN GORGEOUS HERE!" He pointed his finger at me, Nikki hesitantly agrees with her brother

Nikki chuckled then looked at me "The Price family are all violent people not gonna lie, except for Laborè"

"She's spitting facts right now" Cloud added which he received with a violent smack at the shoulder from me

"See? You can't go on a day without smacking me! Just smack me with a kiss" he complained before parking the car in the underground parking lot

We left the twins in the living room while Cloud pulled me to the piano room where within it is the hazel door that he had forbidden me to enter before "If I remember correctly, you would forbid me to enter this door before" I said. I looked up at Cloud's green eyes that were gazing at me

"It's because I was not finished" he answered before dropping the keys in my hand

Not finished with what?

I slowly inserted the key to the keyhole then turned it making us hear a click sound

Can't wait to find out what's in here

Cloud's arm snaked its way around my waist as we enter the door together, the room was dark

"Stay here" he sets me somewhere inside the room and I can hear him run

The large curtains of the room were opened as the sunlight entered the room, my jaw dropped at the surprise Cloud made for me when the room was now fully lit up by the fairy lights and the sunset colors

"Hold on, is that me!?" I pointed to the large picture of me that was created by smaller pictures of when I was younger until now

"Yes and it's missing one piece" he said before gluing my graduation picture at the bottom corner of the large picture of me

I was skeptical when Cloud was so picky when choosing a background to take a picture of me after my Graduation, it turns out to be the missing piece of this giant artwork

"Do you like it?" He asked nervously as he bit the corner of his lip

I was speechless

How long did it take for him to make this?

My feet moved on their own as I stroll my way closer to Cloud and kissed him passionately "I love it, I didn't know that it would be even possible to make a huge picture of me out of small ones" My eyes wandered to all of the small pictures

"It was a lot of work since I have to print and plan out the layout of it, the frame was built and designed by me with the guidance of an experienced woodcarver. Also"

I glanced down at his hands as he remove the silver ring on his thumb and gently removed mines

He then held it side by side before showing the inside which made me gasp

There was the same red string engraved in his ring just like mine and the interior design of the rings was also the same than the exterior. "How?" These were the only words that came out of my mouth when I held the two rings

He scratched the back of his neck "My Mom indeed made them but I requested that I want the rings for my birthday and give the other ring to you through your Aunt Laborè"

So all this time, the ring that I have was a matching ring with Cloud. It was also the design based on the red string of fate

"You really do love me, do you?"

"More than you know"

Cloud walked to a cabinet inside the room and pulled out a box that was the size of his palm before taking a long stride back to me "Angel"

"Cloud"

"I didn't get to properly ask you before since I left you with no choice to play pretend with me but I'm serious right now, will you, Penelope Angel Price be my girlfriend?" He was trying not to cringe at himself from how corny he is being right now, a small laugh escaped from me

"Although the thing about the rings was weird, I'll accept since I love you," I told him before he hugged me which startled the heck out of me since it was out of the blue

I hugged him back anyway

We pulled away before Cloud opens the box to reveal that inside was a gold necklace with angel wings and a little heart that was forest green just like Cloud's eyes

"Can you help me put it on?" I asked him after I admired the necklace, he happily comply before going behind my back and pushing my hair to the side to help me wear the necklace easier

After I hear him say "Done" he gave me a peck at the nape of my neck which send shivers down my spine. My hand went to the spot where he pecked it

Cloud hugged me from behind and leaned his head on my shoulder "Are you ready for college?"

I rolled my eyes "Please don't remind me, I haven't recovered from all those sleepless nights for the exam" I leaned back to rest at Cloud's chest

"We'll enjoy our college years, just the starry sky and you" he kissed my cheek, and together we moved side to side slowly

"Cloud where the fuck are you- THERE YOU ARE!" Nick said when he saw us inside the room, he entered along with Nikki and saw the surprise that Cloud made for me

"You had time to create this but you didn't have time for grocery shopping, the whole fridge is empty! Now I'm gonna starve" he pouted at his best friends, Nikki hooked her arms with me

"I'm serious here right now! I'm hungry" Nick repeated himself before Nikki and Cloud rolled their eyes, Cloud pulled out his wallet "Just buy food for all of us" he threw his wallet at Nick

Nikki glanced at Cloud before me "By the way, Cloud has been getting longer sleeps recently" she informed me which made me jump up from excitement and accidentally hit Cloud's nose with the back of my head

"Sorry" I immediately apologized then kissed his nose before jumping at him and wrapping my legs around his waist "I'm so proud, you're slowly recovering!" I cheered happily

I have never felt so happy for someone, especially if that someone who was my former frenemy now boyfriend

Cloud spun us around the room while Nikki recorded us with her phone

I don't know what the future holds for us but I know it's going to be full of surprises. Me and Cloud saw our flaws and yet we accepted each other, if I was given a chance to repeat things over and start again, I would choose Cloud.

He may not be the strong guy that many people portray him to be, he is afraid of thunder and gets nightmares which made him get insomnia. He may not be strong in their eyes but in mine, I saw the guy fighting to live and be with me despite the odds

He is the strongest guy I know

They saw a golden child, I saw a person struggling to be recognized by his father. Everything that people would assume Cloud to be, he was the opposite

I can slowly see that he is showing his true self to the world

Except for his weakness of course

"Cloud" I cupped his face while he looks up at me lovingly because my legs are still wrapped around his waist

I kissed him once more "I love you"

"I love you too my Angel"
