Soon after I was given the music notes we started playing the piece, Aiden helped out a little since he told us that the song felt a little off. Of course, I saw that everyone was a fan of Aiden and was listening to his every word like he was preaching

I noticed that Evan was the most amazing violinist the school orchestra has that is why when he heard about me his mood was sour, after classes ended and I was on my way to the next class I heard someone calling out to me

"Hey Mia" it sounded like Evan' voice and I was right when I saw him leaning at one of the lockers with one hand holding his violin case

I gave him the cold look "Evan"

This guy gave me a hard time and I hate it

He looks aware as to why I was giving him the cold look, he gave me a small bow "Sorry"

The sudden small bow and apology he made caught me off guard "Hey what are you-" "I recognize people with talent, I hate people who only get a free pass because they are good at something that is not even related to music"

This fucker is not even letting me finish my sentence but at least he apologized

When he played the violin I can tell he played it with his whole heart and soul, the girl who helped me before that was named Tiffany told me that Evan was a violin prodigy so he was used to getting the most attention

I know one person who hates losing attention and no it's not Diana the dramatic at my old school, it was the guy who is planning to tear down one city after another in search of me

When Aiden has my attention he kept trying to shift it to him

He was almost like a cute angry pup that needed attention

Here we are again remembering Cloud, just when I was about to not remember him for a day

I was still pretty pissed at him so I ignored him and walked straight to my next class

Cloud is a golden child but I don't see him act all haughty when he meets another golden child

What a petty excuse to cover up jealousy, people can lose confidence because of it

I was eating lunch and waited for my group to come back after they said they were going to buy lunch, Even walked in with the other orchestra members and we made eye contact

My first reaction was to flare him before looking away, he destroyed my mood that I was stabbing my food with the fork in my hand

"Pip are you planning to commit murder?" Aiden asked as he sat beside me while putting down his tray of food

"Evan annoys me, he gave me a hard time" I grumbled then shove the mac and cheese in my mouth

"Calm down, it'll pass he will learn from his mistake" he handed me a popsicle

I might have been a bit overreacting, the open space in the school orchestra is a coveted spot so I think he was acting logically

As if I'll think that about him what a load of bullshit

Max and Daisy came back with Mira holding a bowl full of salad that was dressed in ranch

"What's got her into a bad mood?" Mira pointed her fork at me while facing Aiden, she took a bite of her salad

Aiden drank his soda before saying "Evan gave her a hard time"

Daisy stopped eating her hotdog "I swear I always hear lots of complaints about Evan after every music class" she complained

"Thankfully Tiffany was there to stop him"

"Tiffany is Evan's girlfriend" Max told us

That was news to me, no wonder Tiffany can scold him all she wants and stop him if the argument gets heated

I feel like I wanna go to bed right now after the long classes and a few gossip about myself that I heard from someone

The rumors say that I was faking my multi-linguistic talent just for the attention but for fucks sake, if I did want the attention I would have rubbed it all over their monolingual faces

Aiden waited for me at the school entrance when I stepped out of the building, he was playing with the strap of his guitar case and he kicked a small pebble on the ground

"Aiden"

He stopped fiddling with the strap and looked at me "Pip"

I took a step closer to him "Ready for our date?" I asked and he nodded quickly "I am, let's go" he grabbed my hand as we walked to the fair that was near to the ice cream shop coincidentally

I can hear carnival music playing loudly at the large speakers at the entrance, Aiden handed the tickets to the guy in a uniform with short sleeves and a bowtie. The guy puts the ticket in a box and lets us in

We were looked around to find what we will do first and I pointed to the merry go round

Me and Aiden played some carnival games and we even play on the bumper boats that they have which were fun, it did get me a little wet though from the splash

We ate a lot of junk food and lastly, we got on the Ferris wheel where we got to see the sunset on the very top, the ride was slow and we got to enjoy every second of it

"Pip"

I glance at Aiden as I break away from admiring the view outside of the window "hm?"

Aiden was seated across from me and he looked nervous that his eyes were darting at every corner of my face "What is it Aiden?"

"If I did succeed in this deal, you are not gonna regret your decision are you?"

He seems aware

Aiden is a smart guy so he knows

"Will you hate me if I say that I still have him on my mind?" I asked him in my most softest voice possible to lessen the impact on hurting him

His eyes became glossy as he looks down at his hand "I see"

I'm sorry Aiden, I hate to see you be sad but I can't forget him yet

He took in a sharp breath before facing me again "I understand but remember that I will still be here if he ever hurts you again"

This deal was ending before it even began

"Aiden, I'm sorry" I went to grab his hand and held it tightly "I know you can find someone other than me that you can love someday"

He shakes his head "I can't force you to love me, it isn't right" he sounded frustrated as tears started falling out of his eyes

"I know from the start that this deal was impossible but I was hoping for a chance that I could be with you but when I saw you forcing yourself to be happy I knew I feel like I was forcing you" his tears kept falling

"I'm sorry Pip" he apologized as he held my hand tightly bringing his face close to it

This scene that was happening before me was breaking me

He raises his head slowly as he finally calmed down "Hey Pip"

"Yes?"

"Can you do me one last favor before this ride and our deal ends?" He asked me with a small sad smile on his face

I suppose I should let him

"Sure" I nodded

I felt his hand that was holding mine pull me to him before he leans in to kiss me, tears keep streaming down his face and one of the tears fell on my hand

I guess this is a Goodbye kiss

We are not gonna part ways but he is going to stop forcing me to like him, that is what he says because of how he views our relationship

I didn't return his kiss and let him lean back after kissing me

His eyes still bear the same warmth he has given me before "Pip, please don't hurt yourself. If that idiot hurts you again I'll break his face"

I let out a small laugh "I will"

He kissed the back of my hand "I love you Pip"
