I watch the man leave the shop with his tall stature

"BOO!" Daisy yelled from behind me that scared me so much my soul almost left my body, I hit Daisy's shoulder that was now shaking from laughter

"Not funny, there was a creepy man that just bought ice cream here" I pointed at the door

"Penelope, everyone is creepy at night. That's just a tourist so calm down" she started cleaning the tables and puts the closed sign at the door

I don't think that guy came here for a vacation

We finally closed the shop after cleaning and head back to Daisy's home right after, it was nighttime at the seaside and the streetlights are also limited so the pathway going back was a bit dark since the streetlights are far apart.

The waves from the beach that I can hear soothes my shaky self

A lot has happened today

As we get closer I can see Olivia was waiting for us by the door "Dinner is ready" she lets us in and helps us with our bags

We changed out of our uniforms and wore something a bit more comfortable, while I was putting on my t-shirt I heard my phone ring on the bed so I finished putting it on quickly then answered my call

"Hello?"

"Hey, Pip did you get home safe?" I can hear him walking based on how he was breathing

I sat on the bed and hugged a pillow close to my chest "I did finish working at the ice cream shop just now, what about you? Did you get to your new place safe?"

"I did, the neighbors are extremely nice that they did invite me over for dinner" he chuckled, I heard a knock from downstairs

"Gotta go I have to help with dinner"

I ended the call and head downstairs quickly to answer the door because Daisy was preparing the played on the table while Ted and Olivia were busy with the food

When I opened the door I saw Aiden in front of me "What are you doing here?"

He has his phone close to his ear because I ended the call so abruptly, Aiden was surprised at first but then he gave me a wide grin and waved at me "Hello new neighbor"

I find it surprising that fate must be playing games here

"Who's at the door?" Daisy walked up to me so I opened the door wide for her to see, her dark brown eyes landed on Aiden she gasped in surprise "Holy shit, oh wow uh what are you doing here?"

"He's our new neighbor" I whispered to her ear when I leaned my upper body sideways

I did hear from Ted that someone just moved in right after I came here but I didn't expect that Aiden would be our new neighbor right after he asked me out

"Oh Good! You're here!" Olivia excitedly welcomed Aiden into their home, he politely greeted Ted and Olivia as he took a seat at the table

I'm had made himself at home very quickly once he entered

The Junifer's took interest in Aiden, I can tell because they kept bombarding him with a lot of questions. We finished eating dinner so me and Daisy helped in giving out the dessert "So Aiden when is your first concert?" Ted asked him as he started eating the tiramisu

Aiden thanked me as I gave him a tiramisu before he answered "It's the same day as the festival"

That's news to me!

Daisy jumped along with Olivia "It's gonna bring in a lot of people! More people more customers!" Olivia was over the moon of the news

Daisy was just excited that his first concert would be at the seaside near her home during the festival, when we all finished eating dessert Daisy and Olivia gave me a smug smile before they started to push me closer to Aiden by the door "How about you accompany Aiden back to his home, we'll tidy things up in here" Daisy winked at me before she pushed me out of the door and locked it

I don't mind accompanying Aiden back to his home since it's only next door

Aiden was standing beside the wall next to the door with an amused expression, he slowly walked up to me "Wanna come into my home?"

I am a bit curious what does his new home looks like

I nodded "Sure"

The walk was only 3 minutes before we arrived at his home that was in the middle of a redesigning to suit his taste, he puts an arm around me

Having his arm around me feels cozy because of the warmth that it gives that fought off the chill of the cold night

He inserted his key and turned it, I heard the door unlock so he pushed it open revealing the interior of his new home. Like a musician, I can see a piano at the corner of the living room and other instruments that are still packed

"I haven't got time to unpack my instruments yet" he looks embarrassed of his cluttered home, being the neat freak that I am I started to help him unpack his things "It's fine, you just moved in so it gets tiring" I walked up to a box to find a lot of CD's inside

"Are these movies or music?" I grabbed a CD and raised it up to show him from the other side of the living room where he is removing the bubble wrap around his electric guitar, he squinted his eyes because he was a bit far "That's are some childhood video that Mom recorded, I think I have a DVD player in a box here somewhere hold on"

He left the leaving room to go upstairs, while he was looking for the DVD I have already fixed all of the books in the bookcase that I've cleaned with a rug. I sort of went all out because there were only half of the boxes left in the living room and I cleaned the windows since I saw that there were dust

Aiden hurriedly went down the stairs holding the DVD player "Found it"

I looked through the CD's and found one that is labeled "Childhood videos" so I gave it to him and waited for him to set it up

He connected the DVD player to the flatscreen TV that was already placed on the wall, the video started with little Aiden's face fast asleep on the couch

"Are you getting it? Are you? Are you?" I can hear my voice in the video

Who am I talking to?

The video was shaky when the person holding the camera started to turn it around to record himself

"I'm gonna put popcorn in the oven for us to munch on while watching, I'll be back" Aiden stood up and went to the kitchen

I looked back at the TV and after the shaky video the person who was holding the camera was finally revealed, it was little Cloud who had a grumpy face on "Stupid camera"

I saw myself lightly hit him at the head "Don't call the camera with swear words or else me and you might make mama angry" I was entertained that I was scolding Cloud even though we were the same age

I think I was around 5 years old based on the date of the video, Cloud was little but even then he looks grumpy. I saw myself wearing pigtails and a matching dinosaur overall with Cloud

Cloud rolled his eyes at me "Whatever"

Even back then he is already a troublemaker

Danny appeared in the video with her short hair that was styled with a uniform hair clip "Hi!" She waved at the camera

I saw that we were all wearing the same dinosaur overalls and I remembered it was a slumber party before Christmas eve, Cloud was running around holding the camera while I was running after him saying "Stop! Old people will hear us" I pointed up to the ceiling but I was referring upstairs where the adults are asleep

"Fine" Cloud's voice sounded annoyed, I chuckled a little

I thought this was Aiden's childhood video?

I stopped the video and checked the CD and there was small writing that says "Cloud's childhood video"

Oh...

I played the video again and I can see little Cloud walking up to the Christmas tree

If I remembered correctly the adults told us to put our wish on a card and hung it up at the tree, I might be wrong but my slumber party before Christmas was so memorable it's practically embedded in the back of my mind

Cloud walked up to the tree behind the tree was me putting up my card, he showed the camera his card that was already hung up "This is my card, I need to use a chair so it can be high up, Big sis told me the closer the wish to the star it will come true and also so that Penelope won't be nosy" he pointed the camera at me

I stuck my tongue at him and stomped away "At least I'm not small"

"I'm not that small!" Cloud retorted

"Yes, you do!"

He focused the camera on his card with his small hand that was a bit shaky so I have to try and pause the video to read what it says

I giggled a little at what it says

"I wish to become a king so I can order Penelope to marry me"

I guess I'm thankful his wish to become king didn't come true, how demanding

"Aiden and I had a fight because he told me he was gonna marry her, not until I marry her first!" He told to the camera

So marrying me has become a competition, can't say I'm surprised they both haven't changed their competitiveness until now

I can't remember that I was focusing much on Aiden and Cloud because I was occupied on thinking about what was my Christmas gift at that time

No matter how far I am from you, you always find your way to make me remember you

I always find a way to remember you even though I wasn't even trying

I felt a presence behind me and I looked around to see it was Aiden, he glanced at the TV than at me. He grabbed the remote to turn off the TV

"How annoying" he mumbled and I can see his one hand clenched into a fist then took a deep sigh

He changed his demeanor quickly once he faced me "Want some popcorn? I have other CD's we can watch" he handed me the bowl of popcorn as he went to the box to find another CD
