The whole ride was quiet so I put on my headphones and plugged them in my new phone, luckily there were some downloaded songs. I gave the bus guy my ticket and ate the snacks in my bag

All of the passengers were fast asleep and only a few were on their phones trying to fight off the sleepiness

I wonder how Cloud is doing, is he sleeping well? Did he have a panic attack? I hope not

I was alert the entire time so I could watch over my belongings, the sun was setting as I am 3 hours in this bus ride. My butt was becoming numb and I can't feel my legs anymore

This will be awkward and embarrassing once this ride ends

If I left my home at 1 PM it was already 4 PM so by 6 PM I will arrive at the bus station at the seaside, I checked the messages on my new phone where Aiden added his number along with Yara and Peter's

I added Daisy's number so I can update her on the time I will arrive, there was a new message from Yara and I opened it

One of your sisters asked me if I have seen you and I told her I didn't, Cloud was with her and he looked panicked

This is so freakin entertaining to watch and more drama than my books can

The view at night from the bus window is amazing, the sun sets behind the mountains and hills at the far distance. We were in the rural area now and the place at the seaside has a population of only 100,000 people

It means they all know each other and Daisy told me she can help me enroll in one of the high schools she is at, she did warn me that even if it was not a private school they have given their students uniform to wear

I don't really mind wearing a uniform since it will lessen my problem of thinking about what I should wear every day to school, 1 hour and 30 minutes have already passed

I'm getting close to seeing Daisy, I can't wait

It was hard leaving home at first but for the first time in my entire life, I felt free, it was a feeling I longed for ever since I was tied down in everyone's stupid expectations of me being the stupid girl I was

It felt like the chains of expectation and disappointment that used to weigh me down has now been broken and now I can renew myself, just the thought of reinventing myself to Penelope 2.0 is making me giddy and excited

I will change a lot to the point they won't recognize me anymore, that stupid, frail, and ugly Penelope is long gone

The bus has finally arrived at the bus station and everybody is getting off one by one when I stepped out Daisy was running to me

"Penelope!" She said loudly then jumped to me giving me a tight hug

Mrs. Junifer would always love to be called casually as Olivia and Mr. Junifer liked being called Ted

"Olivia! Ted!" I greeted them happily

Olivia wiped her eyes "Seeing you two together made me realize that you two have grown quite a lot"

Daisy was their only daughter and seeing her grow up was heartbreaking for them, Ted patted my head "You look tired kiddo, we have prepared a place for you at home" he grinned at me

Since Daisy was their only daughter they could do this much since they were financially stable, the ice cream shop they own right now has many branches so business was booming. Daisy hooked her arms with me and Ted helped me with my luggage

Olivia started to explain to me their house rules and how I'm gonna help Daisy manage the ice cream shop while they were going to visit the other branches, I nodded and cooperated with the people who open their arms to welcome me in their home

Both Olivia and Ted heard what happened from Daisy, Olivia slammed her hand on the table in their dining room "How could they say that to their own daughter" Ted, Daisy, and me can sense her frustration and anger

"But I'm fine now" I good her to calm her down but she shook her head at me

"No, we need to help you until you can stand on your own and face them one day" she answered as she stood up straight

Olivia was a tall thin woman while Ted was taller but chubbier, both of them are a loving couple who are well known for their kindness

Daisy raised a brow at her mother "By helping Penelope stand up on her own feet you mean?"

Olivia clapped her hands as she puts on a proud face "We help her break away from everything that she was known of back at her home since she will start living and studying here we might as well help her image"

Ted came back "Your room is ready so follow me kiddo" he is almost like a Santa clause with how jolly he is all the time

Daisy held my hand and pulled me excited to a door that was the very last in a hallway, the door was made of wood and painted in white "You ready?" She asked me eagerly and I nodded to her with a wide grin on my face

She held the doorknob and turned it to reveal a simple bedroom that was decorated by Daisy, it has all of Daisy's feminine touch in every place. The curtains were beige and light pink and so does the bed the walls are white and fairy lights were hanging on the walls

"Welcome to your new place Penelope" Ted told me and I couldn't help but run to Daisy and cried happy tears

I am thankful for meeting you Daisy

"It feels like we have another daughter now" Olivia sighs as she rested her head on her husband's shoulder watching us

Daisy helped me in unpacking my things while Ted and Olivia told us we were going out to eat as their treat to welcome me, truth to be told Daisy may be loved by all during our elementary year's but that doesn't mean everyone does so she does get bullied time to time

She was defenseless so she would always hide behind me when a bully comes, I can fight a bully by fist not by words though. Her parents seem to have caught up the news of me getting hurt to protect Daisy so they wanted to thank me as much as they could

I wore a simple black t-shirt and pants with white rubber shoes before coming out of the bedroom, Daisy wore a dress that reached her knees and flows every time she turns around

"You look pretty in a dress"

She pouted "No you look more prettier than me"

We heard someone clear their throat and we turned our heads to see Ted and Olivia "I think I'm the prettiest end of discussion"

Daisy gasped "No fair Mom"

Ted chuckled "You are the copy-paste of your mother, after all, she's the original"

Daisy crossed her arms and pouted at her parents, I giggled and patted her back. She could come off as childish sometimes

Why do I keep thinking about him? The more I try to forget the more I keep remembering

I felt a small pang in my chest once I have realized something

I miss him

I was starting to miss Cloud and my family, Cloud must be with Abby once I was out of the picture. Just like Abby wanted

Am I the only one feeling this way? I highly doubt he would miss me since I was only a person who help him sleep

This is getting a toll on me

Is this how it feels when you have come to terms with and realize that you have fallen for somebody who doesn't care for you? Because if it does, I salute those people
