While walking to get breakfast I saw Aunt Copernia and Uncle Dmitry, they speak fluent Russian and know a little bit about English so when Uncle Dmitry saw me he happily greeted me in Russian "Пенелопа! ты выглядишь выше" (Penelope! you look taller)

My friends along with Abby we're all startled by his loud voice, yes, I'm isolating Abby from the word 'My friends'

Aunt Copernia came from my Dad's side of the family and she married Dmitry when she was touring Russia for a project during her teen years, she told me that Uncle Dmitry was a closed-off guy who unexpectedly talked to her first when they met.

A little fun fact about Uncle Dmitry is that he has a naturally loud voice that even if he whispers it sounded like an average voice good for conversation, his normal voice is almost like yelling.

Nikki was so startled by him that she unknowingly hugged Nick's arm, I gave out a small giggle

"Рад снова видеть вас дядя Дмитрий" (Glad to see you again Uncle Dmitry) I gave him and Aunt Copernia a small hug

I can hear Nick asking Cloud "Hey dude did I really just hear your girlfriend speak Russian?"

Cloud looked at me proudly "She did, she can speak a lot of languages"

Abby was a bit red from jealousy when she heard Cloud boast about me, she tugged at his sleeve a little "I know how to speak Japanese"

"That's great" Cloud complimented her then patted her head, he turned his focus to Nick who was asking "So how many languages does she really know?"

"French, Chinese, Italian, German, Spanish, and Russian. In total it would be 6 Languages"

Aunt Copernia looked at my group then gave me a sweet smile "Do you wanna join us for breakfast? Your cousin Juliet is already at the table"

Oh My God! Juliet is here!?

Juliet is my cousin who used to have heart cancer and we would rarely see her in reunions, she was the sweetest out of all my cousins. She is older than me by 8 years

She understood me like a sister even though we were cousins and would always help me when other kids would bully me, she is a strong woman that is how she beat cancer's ass

She told me "I ain't dying until I get myself a boyfriend and get married!"

She was into the idea of true love and was determined to find her partner, I remembered when I visited the hospital for her cancer treatment 5 years ago, she would always flirt with the hot nurse guy who was in charge of watching over her consumption of food and to give her medicine

She would always ask the guy out every day and each time he would always say no, but when it was time for her to leave the hospital after the successful treatment of her heart cancer he finally said yes

In my opinion, I think he kept saying no so she would keep fighting to live and beat caner so she can achieve her goal of dating him. The guy was a good dude and until now they are still dating

I sighed as we walked closer to the table

I want a love story of my own too

As soon as Juliet saw me coming closer, she stood up instantly to run to me. She gave me a big hug, her hair is now short

Before she was a cancer survivor she didn't have any hair during the treatment so she would often hide it under a wig or hat, she looked so happy when her hair started growing back after a few months out of the hospital that she video chatted me first

From afar I can see Romeo holding two plates with a wide grin on his face

Yes, it was a coincidence. Juliet was the cancer patient and Romeo was the hot guy nurse who treated her, imagine my surprise that he secretly told me he was gonna propose to Juliet on the last day of our reunion over the phone 8 months ago

"Romeo!?" Cloud looked at him when he finished putting down the two plates at the table, Romeo gave Cloud a bro hug "Dude! Holy fuck!"

Me and Juliet exchanged confused glances along with her parents. Nick, Nikki, Aiden, and Abby were left out

Cloud sensed the gaze from everyone so he let go of Romeo from the high and cleared his throat a bit "Guys this is Romeo, my cousin"

"WHAT!?" We all yelled at him except for Aiden, simultaneously that everybody in the area looked at us

Aiden raised both of his hands up in the air and said "That's it, I'm out. This is too much for me to handle" he walked away heading straight to get himself a plate of food for breakfast

Aiden and Cloud are close so it wouldn't be a surprise if he knew Romeo but what he didn't know was that Romeo was dating my cousin Juliet, it seems like even though Cloud and Aiden are not close anymore he still has a good friendship with Romeo because while giving Cloud a hug Romeo gave Aiden a small nod like a greeting

After we all find our seats around the table it was time for my group to introduce themselves to my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin

Juliet gave me a smug look while nudging her elbow at me "So who is that cute guy that is next to you?"

Cloud's sharp ears heard Juliet so he smiled at her "I'm Cloud, you cousin's boyfriend"

If Cloud keeps introducing himself like that to everyone in my family every time we meet them, he might as well wear a tag that says: "Penelope's Boyfriend, Cloud Marshall"

But then again he is crazy enough to do that too, he wouldn't mind embarrassing me even if he has to do something stupid. Juliet gave him a knowing nod "Please take good care of her, Penelope can be quite insecure about her looks"

Cloud's eyes then darted to me instantly "Oh really? I didn't know that"

Juliet, I beg of you, please stop talking

"Yes, there are times when she would cr-" I covered her mouth instantly

Romeo seems to catch on to what I was trying to do so he told his girlfriend "Juliet I think your soup is getting cold"

"Oh right, I forgot" she instantly ate it without finishing her sentence, the best part about Juliet is that it is very helpful that she can forget something once she shifted her attention to another

Romeo and Cloud started to talk with each other and Nick strikes up a conversation with both of my Aunt and Uncle. It turns out that my Aunt is a fan of his writings and was surprised that her favorite author is younger than her

Why do I feel like this reunion is for them than for me?

Aiden came back and handed me a bowl with fruit salad and gave me a quick wink before he found a seat next to Abby and he ignored her while eating his breakfast, Abby was out of place in this table setting.

Well, she did decide to join us on her own without asking

Can't believe I'm getting happy out of her awkwardness

She was so awkwardly polite to them that she didn't have time to sneak me a glare from the other end of the table which is great news to me. Cloud was sitting beside me and he can feel that I was a bit tense even though he was listening to Romeo talk to him, so he slide a hand from under the table and grabbed my hand to trace circles around the palm of my hand

I was a bit tense since in about 2 hours the reunion will start

How did he know? When and where on earth did he learn this sweet act!?

I can feel a blush starting to show on my face and Nikki noticed it instantly so she gave me a small smirk before biting into an apple slice, Aiden's eyes were gazing at me from his seat and he shot me a big smile

I did return the smile of course

Cloud saw it so he removed his hand from mine and laid his hand at my knee, he would slowly move his closer to my thigh every time Aiden would give me a smile

I swear to God, once breakfast is over I will smack Cloud at the back of his head
