At long last we have finally arrived in Banff, the journey to get here was hectic and we even got another baggage along the way

Which is Abby

The weather temperature when we got here was very cold, I checked my phone and it was 3°c outside right now

Any lower than the temperature and we gotta prepare for snow once it reaches 0

The train finally stopped and we all grabbed our luggage before going out, from afar I can see my family heading straight to the entrance where a van awaits them

"A car will be sent to fetch us so we can get to the hotel" Cloud told all of us as his eyes were glued to his phone

"This way" he walked and we followed him from behind, Abby looks like she is about to freeze to death and I'm not even exaggerating because her legs at shaking, and her mouth is shivering from the cold

Bruh, what the fuck?

I rolled my eyes and threw my other jacket at her that was tied around my waist, she looked at my jacket then raised her head to face me with a confused look

"Use it"

Her hand gripped my jacket that she held in her hands so tightly her knuckles turned white, she threw the jacket to me and glared at me "No need bitch" she muttered before catching up to walk beside Cloud who was at the very front

Well, that was ungrateful, hmph!

I tied the jacket back around my waist before catching up with the entire group, two white cars are waiting at the front of the station and the drivers greeted us before grabbing all of our luggage to put in the trunk. I went to the first car with Nick and Abby

Abby got in accidentally thinking that Cloud would join us but he entered the second car with Nikki and Aiden, so Abby was just grumbling to herself throughout the drive. The ride was a bit long but I manage to snap some amazing photos of Banff from my phone and the camera that I borrowed from Cloud

Soon after, we arrived at the hotel and my jaw dropped

It is called a hotel but it is a castle, IT LOOKS LIKE A CASTLE!

I was left speechless when we got out of the car, the hotel was enormous and I feel like I got transported back into medieval times where princesses and knights exist because that is the first thing I could remember when I saw it. The lobby has a lot of chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and a grand staircase leading up to the second floor.

I must have been lost in admiring the breathtaking architectural design of the hotel and the splendid view that it provides that I didn't notice that my family was also in the lobby.

Once we entered, I exchanged glances with my sisters who have surprised faces, and my parents along with Aunt laborè who was shocked to see me here.

I guess they were expecting me to not come after what happened

Before they could say anything I heard Cloud calling out my name

"Angel!"

I turned to Cloud who was walking to me then suddenly held my hand "You're gonna get lost if your mind keeps floating aimlessly, c'mon"

He pulled me to the desk to grab our keys before we all head straight to the elevators, Abby noticed that all of us have our room partner. Nikki and Nick got a room with two beds and I assume that Cloud and I are gonna share one bed because of his habit

Aiden would have a room for himself since he already paid for a room, Abby did get a room but it was not near to any of us in the group. She glances at the key that she is holding "Hey wait a minute, are you guys just gonna leave me alone in a room being far away from you all!?" Her voice was panicky

Nick puts an arm around his twin "Can't, I don't want Nikki to get in trouble with her attitude"

Nikki gasp and her eyes widened "ExcUsE Me!?"

"Now who the hell between the both of us has been sleeping around?! I certainly don't!" Nikki ran to me and hugged me "If I have a choice I would've chosen Penelope as my sister" Nikki pretended to whimper on my shoulder

Cloud rolled his eyes and removed Nikki off of me "If you guys are going to be all dramatic, me and Angel will head to our bedroom first" he said to them before grabbing my luggage in the elevator, he waited for me to get in with a confused look on his face "Aren't you gonna get in?"

I gulped a little from nervousness before entering

I slapped my right cheek instantly which startled Cloud who is now looking at me with wide eyes

Holy hell, Penelope, you can't imagine that far. Too risky

Cloud leaned in to check my face and last night's event came back into my mind that I can feel myself explode for beginning to remember those dirty thoughts, Yara must be laughing at me while on her bed reading Ero-romance books right now.

I can feel my other hand trying to slap my left cheek but suddenly he caught my wrist from doing it "Angel stop that, your cheeks are going to sting"

"Why can't I slap myself to stay awake?"

That was a lie, a last-minute lie

He let go of our luggage and turned his body to face me "I'll show you a perfect way to stay awake" he grinned mischievously

Here we go again

I braced myself for what kind of action he is gonna take so I closed my eyes, nothing was hitting me and it was odd. He would always either poke me, flicked my forehead, or lightly slap my cheek

What he did however is that he pinched my cheeks that it felt like someone puts clothespins on it and it hurts like hell

This suddenly reminds me that there was this one incident that I was truly in a deep sleep and nobody could wake me up, I was also snoring loudly so they were a bit annoyed. Will explained to me that everybody in the classroom was making a lot of loud sounds like banging the table like a drum, throwing the chair across the room, yelling at the top of their lungs and they even asked Diana the Dramatic to act out a crying scene

Yes, that was weird when I heard it too, Diana was in the ground acting like she is crying and making sure it's loud enough but it didn't work. Cloud although had enough of the nonsense so he strolled up to my desk and slapped my arm really strongly that I was jolted awake

My hand went to the arm that Cloud slapped before and I glared at him

You didn't apologize you little shit

"Angel you've been acting weird after we stepped out of the train- no scratch that, you were already weird even before we got on the train. What's wrong with you?"

He looked at my arm where my hand is holding "Did you break your arm?"

I ignored him and have my arms crossed like the sassy child in me demanded to come out "Why don't you apologize"

He combed one hand through his hair "Angel what did I do to your arm?" He asked me properly, he was getting a bit impatient but luckily enough he didn't because he tried to understand what is going on

"Why don't you ask your past self 3 years ago, he slapped me by the arm that I felt like I was gonna have a bruise"

He was quiet for a moment then laughed a little "You dumbass, have you forgotten? You fell asleep during our fire drill. If a fire were to happen you wouldn't even know because of how deep in sleep you were"

"Then why didn't anybody just wake me up nicely, a nice pat on the back would do, not slapping my arm like it's a fetish!"

"I do not have a fetish!" His voice was a bit louder as he was defending himself

"That doesn't sound right to me when you did it" it was exactly I finished that sentence that I stepped out of the elevator with the key to our room was in my hands and Cloud was catching up behind me
