The girl named Abigail was taller than me and shorter than Nikki, she was thrilled to see Cloud across the train station that she ran and hugged him. Nikki, Nick, and I looked at each other with confused faces

"It's been a long time" she grabbed both of Cloud's hand and squeezed them, her eyes showed more than warmth, it was filled with love

This Abigail is in love with Cloud and it was very obvious

Her eyes were twinkling and her face has a pink blush, Cloud smiled at her "You've grown"

Abigail chuckled "So do you" she used her hand to compare her height to him, she glanced at us and grinned widely "Hi I'm Abby, and you guys?"

Nikki waved at her and Nick decided to introduce the both of them "I'm Nick this is my twin Nikki" Nick puts a hand on my head "And this is Cloud's girlfriend Penelope"

I was not even planning on telling Abby my status with Cloud but Nick decided to draw the line so she wouldn't cross over, don't get me wrong but I am feeling weird inside the moment I saw Abby being close with Cloud

My chest tightened a bit and my hand that was playing with my scarf is now clenching it that my knuckles hurt so bad, this is a new feeling that I have yet to experience now with a new person but I know all too well

Is it jealousy?

I almost laughed at myself for even thinking such a thing, why would I feel jealous of Cloud being close to a girl that he knew. Even Nick; his closest best friend didn't even know the girl before, Abby talked to Cloud like they had a history together

"So what brings you and your friends here?" She hooked arms with him and Cloud didn't seem to mind her intimacy with him, Cloud would never allow a girl to touch him unless he has formed a strong bond with them. Forming a strong bond with Cloud is like forming a strong bond with a cat

It will take a long time and you just assume you have formed that bond once you feel like it has warmed up to you

I'm gonna put an emphasis on assumed because it's hard to tell if he considers you a close friend

Like how he chooses his clothes he is very choosy with his friends which garnered him a small amount but loyal group of people which are the majority of my friends

I will be baffled if he even added me to that 'friend's list', I'll just think he will add me in the 'possibles' and throw out the possibility of even becoming my friend

He harbors hate feelings towards me and he wasn't even hiding it when we were kids and yes I am that petty so I am not letting that experience down, I know people can change but goddamn I dig up the past much better than paleontologists these days. I still don't know why he even hated me before and acted as if nothing happened when we meet again

We all stopped at the front entrance of the train station

"Do you guys have a ride and a place to stay? Because I know someone who can" Abby happily offered her help to us but Nick declined and Nikki follow her brother

He showed the hotel logo to Abby on his phone "I already booked an overnight in one of the hotels near the train station, it's only a 5-minute walk"

Her eyes went wide in shock "That's the hotel where I am supposed to refer to you guys! I know the owner cause I am his adopted daughter" she proudly said to us as she skipped closer to me and grabbed my luggage "I can help you" she said before putting an arm around me

Abby is a bit too nice to me for a girl to know that I have a (fake) relationship with the boy she likes

But like in the books and all the drama that I have absorbed throughout the years, it is telling me not to trust this girl. Call it mean but it is a preventive measure

She might consider me her love rival even if I don't have such feelings towards Cloud, I might get myself in the drama that I shouldn't be involved in

Since Danny and her cliques are already a handful

She was dragging my luggage while humming a happy tune to herself, Nick walked closer to Cloud and whispers "Bro do you know this chick?" I was behind them so I can hear what Nick is telling

"We met after you lend me money for the train ride" He answered before catching up to walk beside Abby

Cloud looks eager to spend time with Abby

We've arrived at this cottage-like hotel that is near a convenience store and the owner was at the front reading a magazine, she looks like in her early 20's because of how mature she gives off

Abby rang the small bell at the desk and sat beside the lady "Mom I'm back"

So this woman is her adopted mother

I grabbed my luggage that was near the desk where Abby left it and pulled it closer to me, it got the attention of Abby's mom

"I see we have customers, welcome, it seems you are the people who reserved a room here?" She checked the computer to her right and there was a lava lamp right next to it, even though I just slept at the train I could feel like I can sleep again since my eyes are becoming droopy again

Nick nodded, Abby went to the key rack and grab our room keys that were at the very top that she has to be on her tippy toes to reach it

A yawn escaped from my mouth and Cloud who was standing beside me turned his head to look at me "Angel you just slept in the train"

I gave him the look "What are you, a stranger? Cloud you know darn well how I always sleep in the most inconvenient of times, how are you not used to it?!"

He removed his beanie hat and shoved it in his bag "I know that already but it always amazes me how quickly you get tired, we just walked!"

"I'm amazed at that fact myself but thanks for pointing it out captain obvious" I grabbed the key that Nikki handed to me then went straight to find our rooms after we took the elevator to the 2nd floor

Me and Cloud went to room 2308 while the twins will sleep at 2309

"We'll meet at your room after we leave our luggage and change out of our clothes, I smell like a rotten onion that is shoved inside of a smelly sock" Nick told us before he inserted the keys and ran to the room to throw himself on the bed

Nikki grabbed the handle of her brother's luggage "So we can eat out for dinner later" she entered the room right after

Cloud already went into our room and felt like we were more in a cabin than a hotel because of the wooden style everywhere, I entered the room and closed the door. He was getting clothes inside of his luggage and grabbed the towel that was neatly folded on the bed "I'm gonna shower, wanna join?" He smirked while asking me

"Haha, no thanks" I gave him a deadpan look before searching for clothes I can change in for the night

He shrugged "Suit yourself, you're gonna miss all this hot glory" he chuckled before entering the bathroom, he closed the door and I can hear the shower running

"I don't think so" I mumbled to myself

There was a TV in the room and me being a bored person I am decided to watch cartoon channels on it, Spongebob was airing right now and it was the perfect time for me to lay at my side on the bed

Squidward was becoming more and more relatable as I got older and it makes sense why he wanted to get away from Spongebob, you would think he is a bad guy but he just wanted to have a peaceful day without hearing Spongebob's annoying laugh

I was in this episode called 'Pretty Patties' this is the episode where there is the Mr. Krabs meme that is widely known on the internet

My eyes were glued to the TV but when I heard the bathroom door open I grabbed my clothes and towel, I was so fast at speed walking that I bumped myself to Cloud's chest as he was about to walkout
