"Get off of me you fat ass!" Adeline yelled at Nick who threw himself at her on the couch, I am in Nick and Nikki's home right now after school. Nikki was playing ping pong with Cloud; it's her favorite sport by the way.

Cloud was trying his best not to lose but Will can see it already "Dude just give up, you look like you're going to need a breather"

Cloud was focused on the ball "I don't care I need to win this one" he replied loudly like we are 10 feet apart but in reality, we were just watching beside him. Adeline was playing video games on the enormous TV in the living room, she was thrilled when she saw it as soon as she stepped in

I am not joking but she ran around to check out the entire penthouse, Nick didn't stop her when she wanted to see his room which made Nikki stunned since she was never allowed to go in his room; she couldn't even be bothered to just touch the door because that would cause a ruckus between them. I wander to the kitchen to see Jane making two drinks

I tried to get the other drink but she swatted my hand "Don't touch" she scolded me, I rubbed my hand "Why? Is there poison in it?"

She took a deep breath before glancing at me "That is for Cloud" she grabbed the glass and walked up to Cloud who as already finished losing to Nikki

She handed the drink to Cloud and he shook his head as he try to catch his breath, I was thirsty so I grabbed a small water bottle in the fridge and drank it. My hand went to wipe my mouth after I stopped drinking when I feel like someone took my bottle from my hand, Cloud almost finished the bottle that I had just drank in

He threw the bottle back to me and I finished it all before throwing it in the trash can "You could've just taken a water bottle in the fridge that is right in from of us" I patted the fridge door

"Yeah but I was lazy, taking your water bottle was quicker"

"Did you guys just indirectly kiss?" We turned our heads to see Nick was behind us, it's a good thing he didn't say it out loud because Jane was talking to Nikki who has the drink that was meant for Cloud

He didn't take the drink?

The moment that Nick pointed it out I quickly took the neckline of my shirt and rub it on my lips repeatedly, Cloud shrugged and opened the fridge to pull out a cup of chocolate pudding and walked away

Adeline shrieked loudly before dunking her face on the couch

"Did she lose?"

He nodded "She did"

We could hear Adeline curse in Russian loudly as she stomped around the couch and make her way to me and grabbed Nick's collar to drag him back to the living room

Nikki was not taking the scene in front of her well because she spat out the drink that Jane gave her, the drink was leaking from her hand and she has to run to the kitchen sink to wash it off. She turned her head to look at the two "Sweet baby dove, I did not just see my brother being forcefully dragged to a living room by the collar"

Cloud puts his elbow at her shoulder "You're seeing it correctly though Nikki, your one and only brother Nick Matthews is being dragged by a 16-year-old girl to the living room to play games"

"But Nick doesn't like being dragged by the collar or else you will get a beating from him" Will asked us as we moved back to the ping pong table, he overheard our conversation while he was busy playing games on his phone

"He fought with Dustin before and it did not end well for the both of them" Nikki pinched her nose and closed her eyes

"Do you wanna tell me what happened?" I took a seat on a bean bag chair and had to face up to Cloud who was playing with the ping pong ball with his hand, he grinned at me and shook his head

I pouted and turned to look away but when I turned to face him he was looking at me at the corner of his eyes before he started to play ping pong again but this time it is against Will, Nikki sat with me and watched the two boys play against one another

She was fiddling with her hands and was looking nervous to the point I could see both of her legs shaking, she was trying to hide it by putting a pillow on her lap but it was a bit obvious. She was staring intensely at her phone

"Nikki?" I tapped her shoulder and she was startled that she was breathing heavily

"Yeah?"

I pointed to her legs "Your legs are shaking from nervousness, are you okay?"

She wiped the sweat oh her face with a handkerchief "I'm fine"

Does she think I am blind? I could see that the handkerchief is already damp from all of her sweat

I squinted my eyes at her "Sure I believe you if my IQ was zero, so what's up?" I checked her phone and I was stunned she was chatting with Yara

"No way" I whispered in shock

Nikki asked for Yara's number!

Nikki looks a bit shy that I found out "She gladly gave me her number and we've been chatting a lot" she discreetly told me

"Have you asked her out yet?"

"No, not yet, I'm not sure how will she react if I am Bi"

From what I can remember, Yara is an open-minded person because there was a small accident that I found out she was reading Lesbian Ero-novel and she confessed that she might like girls but she begged me not to tell anyone. Right now, I could only support her because I should protect Yara's sensitive secret

We heard a notification bell from her phone and she shifted her attention back to the chat immediately, her eyes widened after she read the message "She asked me out" she murmured

She turned to look at me with her mouth slightly ajar "She asked me out" she repeated it again but this time a bit louder for me to hear, I couldn't believe what I was hearing so she showed me her chat with Yara

Yara asked her out to watch a movie, my subconscious made me slap Nikki's shoulder as congrats it happens sometimes when I'm so excited for someone that I have to slap them. We squealed and gave each other mini high fives

"Hurry up and answer her" I patted her back as Nikki was thinking up what is a great way to say she accepts the invitation to watch the movies. After Adeline left with Will volunteered to drive her home and come back to the penthouse right after

Nikki couldn't contain her happiness that she was just skipping to her room to chat with Yara on her phone while laying on her bed, Nick saw how weird his sister was acting and asked me what drugs did she snort to get her to act all giggly. I hit him at the back of his head "She's in love"

Cloud sighs at his best friend "I apologize on behalf of this idiot"

Nick responded, "Idiot my ass, you can't even seem to confe-" before Nick could even say it Cloud kicked the back of his foot, and Nick was crying out in pain

He pointed to both of us "You two abuse me!" He said loudly then whined about how it hurts to be the nice best friend in the group

Alice helped Nick up; when he finally stood up on both of his feet he ran to Cloud and they wrestled in the living room. We watched as they shifted from wrestling to a game of chess since I demanded a fight in a civil manner

Geez, my hypocrisy is showing. I'm saying do something civil yet I can't even help but hit someone whether I'm happy or angry

I like how Jane and Alice looked at me when I demanded they fight civilly, they know what I had realized and yet they kept quiet about that.
