Both Dustin and Benjamin got bored since my conversation with Daisy was too long and luckily we were near the park and there happens to be a frisbee inside Dustin's car that he forgot to remove after his vacation with a girl, Daisy's eyes went to Dustin's back as he walked out of the shop

She leaned forward to me "Is he your boyfriend?" She asked me while wiggling her brows as her eyes glimmer with mischief

Why do I always have Cloud's face pop up in my mind when I see someone being mischievous?

I shake my head and my phone rang which was perfect timing that I can use it to change the topic but Cloud was on the caller's ID and disappointment ran through my face, Daisy glanced at my phone "Well? What are you waiting for? Answer it and put it on speaker just so I can hear it"

I gave her the "Are you serious look' to which she nodded in response, my lips formed a thin line and I hesitantly answered his call

"Angel, have you seen my leftover chili?" Cloud asked me and I felt a pang of small guilt in me because I ate it as my breakfast

I laughed nervously "Haha funny story, I kind of ate it as my breakfast and there are no more leftover chilis in the fridge" I imagined I was talking in front of Cloud and I made a sheepish smile that I unknowingly did In front of Daisy

She giggled quietly before I cleared my throat "But you ate three bowls of chili last night!"

"So? I like the chili you cooked and I want my chili back" he demanded over the phone

I feel like I'm talking to a toddler at the moment

I finished up my drink "Then why don't you make it yourself? I already bought groceries for today because I know how you three eat like there is no tomorrow"

I am not exaggerating that fact since I saw everything unravel before my eyes after I placed the last food that I cooked at the dinner table, though they have great table manners they eat like beasts

"Yeah and it seems like you are having a dandy time in a coffee shop"

I looked around me with furrowed brows as I scanned everyone inside of the shop "I swear to God Cloud if you put a freakin GPS in my phone I am not going to sleep with you tonight!"

It seems my words were misunderstood by everyone because they all gave me strange stares, I hid my face behind my hand and after a few minutes, everybody went back to their businesses. Daisy was more shocked because her hand almost lets go of the fork with the strawberry cake piece still stabbed at the end

She was trying to say words but they didn't come out of her mouth, I held my hand up to stop her from trying "It's not what you think Daisy"

"Then what on earth is my reaction supposed to be Penelope?" Her voice has a hint of sarcasm in it as she puts down her fork

Cloud ended the call as he stepped into the shop, everybody keeps taking second glances at him as he took long strides to get to me at my seat. He looks like a Greek God but with an attitude problem

Well nobody said that all Greek God's don't have an attitude problem

"I have arrived peasant" he jokingly told us as he took a seat beside me, I crossed my arms at him "I can see dumbass"

He pretended to act hurt by what I said by making the most annoying faces ever that he can still manage to look good, Daisy sipped at her drink loudly to make us look at her. She puts down her drink carefully and smiled at Cloud

"So...you sleep with my best friend" she cracked her knuckles

The mother vibes is strong in this one

Cloud sat up straight and gave her a big smile "I'm Cloud, your best friend's boyfriend"

The moment I saw Daisy's reaction to Cloud is the moment I have realized that she can see through his bullshit and damn that was a satisfying feeling to have

Cloud has that talent that he can convince anyone that he is an Angel on earth when technically he is the spy of Satan

She squinted her eyes at him suspiciously "Uhuh and I'm the daughter of Gordon Ramsay" she matched her tone of voice to Cloud's

She raised two fingers from her hand and pointed her eyes "You can't fool these eyes, your relationship is fake isn't it?" She looked at me

He gave her a confused face "What do you mean?" He was trying his best but it wouldn't convince no matter how hard he tried

We looked at each other like we are reading the mind of each other, he raised a brow at me like 'are you sure'

I tilted my head to Daisy's direction 'This gal will keep a secret and bring it to the grave if she has to'

He sighed and muttered "Fine"

He pointed his finger to her "I hope that you can zip lock that mouth of yours"

She scoffed "I hope you can keep that pants of yours zip-locked" she gave him her proud look like she won this petty argument, I tugged Cloud's shoulder "Don't say anything and just let her be, if this continues we might be here until sunset" I whispered to him

"I can keep up with her until sunset, I bet I could even reach tomorrow if I have to"

I slammed the palm of my hand at my forehead at his stupid pride along with my elementary best friend "If you guys say another word to each other I am leaving this place" I warned them which made them glare at each other

"She is supposed to spend the day with me" Daisy grumbled leaning back at her chair

"Well news flash bestie, I'm her boyfriend she is going to spend the day with me" he snapped his finger at her with sass

I just warned these two and they just threw it out of the window

While they were distracted at going up against one another I stepped out of the shop and strolled through the park to find Dustin and Benjamin, Benjamin was playing with a small puppy that belonged to a stranger while Dustin is sitting on a park bench under the shade of a tree as he was on his phone looking up to watch Benjamin time to time

I sat beside him to relax and enjoy the peaceful sights in the park, the fountain is always well maintained and they change the fountain water every week with additional cleaning so you can clearly see all the coins that are tossed in the fountain. There is also a small bridge that is used to pass over a creek where the children play with their paper boats

An old couple walked by us hand in hand as the old woman laughed heartily at what her husband told her, a small boy that picked a very tiny flower and gave it to the girl which earned him a kiss on the cheek

How adorable

School children playing hide and seek by the trees since my old preschool is also near to this park, my hand reached for my body bag and pulled out earphones to listen to music to make my day better. I started humming to the tune and I glanced back at the shop to see the two still arguing

I think they haven't noticed that I'm already gone
