I was getting hungry and Cloud doesn't look like he will be moving an inch in his sleep, so I forced my way out which is hard by the way and pushed Cloud to move at the other side of the bed

I woke Cloud up by violently shaking him in a state of panic "We're Late!!" I told him loudly and his eyes shot wide open as he sat up immediately to look at my phone that he grabbed from me

"Oh fuck, we are late" he said but he shrugged it off later on and his back hit the mattress, isn't he supposed to be panicked about this?

"Relax Angel we'll just skip school today" he said to assure me but that didn't assure me one bit

"But I have to maintain a record that I am always present every school day" I said, getting honours in my school needs a lot of requirements and it's not that easy like a walk in the park

One of the requirements so that I could at least have a chance in getting an honour is that I have to maintain a record that I was never absent every school weekday

If you have extremely high grades you could be exempted in that perfect day record because you could make up for it with your grades just like in Cloud's case

But I didn't have high grades, to begin with, and if I can't even perfect my day record I might fail at my streak. I bolted to the closet to take any outfit and ran to the bathroom to have a quick shower

It was very quick that I didn't have time to fix my hair which is the thing I always do before going the school but who cares?

The outfit that I randomly pulled out turns out to be a white short denim overall and a red sleeveless tank top

I opened the bathroom door to be greeted by Cloud who was eyeing me from the bed and was watching me go into the closet to pull out the grey cardigan that I rolled the sleeves a bit before grabbing my school ag and made a run for it to the elevator

I almost forgot about the key card so I ran back to Cloud to borrow his keyboard and he looked at me funny "Hell no"

"Fuck you Marshall" I said in desperation that I need to be in school because I'm late

He laughed hysterically before pulling out a card from his leather jacket that was on a chair beside his desk and gave it to me "that is your copy, I'm not giving mines"

I felt like I have acquired a great loot in a game and I was very relieved that I don't have to keep asking Cloud to borrow the card

"Maybe you are a teeny bit less of a jerk, Thanks!" I said to him before I ran to the elevator and did my best to catch up to a bus, the bus stop was a few blocks away from school so I have to make a run for it as I passed by many people

I realized my hair was a mess since I hadn't brushed it but I'll worry about it after I could reach my class, face slammed into someone and I fell backwards as my butt hit the ground. I groaned in pain and I look up to glare at the person and I saw Jane who immediately helped me up

"You're late too!?" She whisper yell at me as we ran side by side to our class, I nodded at her as my response and she was first to reach the four and open it to reveal that we ran in at the wrong class

"Wrong room sorry!" I yelled as I slammed the door shut, We finally went into the right room and I saw the teacher that I got angry at and went full-on French woman at him

He was the last one to look at us and I squinted my eyes at him like a threat and he got the memo so he ignored that we were there and continued like normal

The only two desks that were vacant is the front and centre of the class, we were late so we cannot be picky of our seats so we sat in the two vacant chairs. 19 minutes have passed then we heard the bell rang, I asked the quiet girl named Sara if I could copy her notes and she looked delighted to help me

Me, Sara and Jane stayed behind the class to copy her notes at God speed because we do not want to take up all of her time, she pulled out a game boy and was started playing games. I could hear the Mario game theme song playing

When we finally finished our notes we thanked Sara and she waved goodbye to us as she leave the classroom, both me and Jane sighed as we sat at the same time on the desk

"What got you to be this late?" I asked her, Jane was moving her feet up and down alternately "I slept late because Yara kept talking to me about some new novel release" she yawned which made me yawn

"I guess you slept late too huh?"

"Yeah I have to make somebody sleep first before me" I answered without giving my sentence a thought

"Make somebody sleep before you? Like a baby?" She asked me with a raised finger that was showing through her long-sleeved jacket that covered her whole hand

"Oh, so who's baby was that then?"

I panicked as soon as she asked that question to me, so I straight up lied about a neighbour who had just given birth and I babysat

"Aww, I want to see the baby too" she said with a smile

"Have you seen Cloud by the way?" She put a leg up on the desk that she was sitting on

"Oh he just doesn't feel like going to school" I answered, she giggled as her ears were a faint red

"That sounds like Cloud alright, how did you know that though?" She looked at me with her caramel brown eyes

Jane liked Cloud and doing this to her made me feel lesser than a cow shit, I fiddled with my hands as I stepped out of the classroom to walk into the next class
