"I'm about to board the plane Papa."

"Oh my baby, you sound so broken! I'm going to make all your favourite meals. I'm pretty sure some home cooked meals will help you forget about he who shall not be named."

Bear smiled.

"Okay papa. I'll call you when I land."

With another promise to beat Mason for hurting his 9 months,and kisses, his father finally hung up.

Bear put his phone in his pocket and made his way to the departure line.

Bear was not going to let a stupid man ruin his vacation. He was going home and he was going to enjoy his time with his family.

"I'm so glad that you're here! Papa and Dad are useless."

Bear chuckled as he opened his arms for his younger brother. The small man jumped into his arms and nearly hugged the life out of Bear.

"Tanner!"

Bear's brother let out a yelp as he was pulled out of his brother's arms by his father.

"Ow Papa!"

Tanner whined as his ear was pulled by his father who had a glare on his face.

"That'll teach you to call me useless!"

Papa let got of his youngest's ear and hugged his eldest son.

"I'm so happy to see you again baby "

"I missed you Papa."

The older submissive looked at his son with a smile and led him to the car.

"Come on we have a lot to discuss and prepare for Tanner's Introduction ceremony tomorrow."

Bear nodded and followed his father to the car.

"You excited for tomorrow?" Asked Bear later that night as he braided Tanners waist length brown locks.

Tanner smiled with a tint of colour on his cheeks.

"I can't wait to meet him. I really hope he likes me."

"He'll love you. There's a reason he chose to do an Introduction. It's because he saw your beauty and just couldn't get you out of his mind."

Tanner giggled as he turned around to look at Bear.

"I can't wait for your Introduction,it's going to be spectacular,and fit for King."

An Introduction ceremony was when a dominant came to see the submissive with their family. The dominant would then spend a few hours with the submissive and get to know each other. And if he wanted to marry the submissive he would send a letter or confirmation within 5 days to the submissive's family. An Introduction was only done when a dominant wanted to take things further via the traditional route. Some still followed the tradition but it was usually done by those from influential alpha blood families.

And Tanner was so beautiful and lucky enough to catch ones attention. Bear couldn't help but to be a little jealous.

"I'm already 30 years old Tanner, I think that time has passed. I'll reside myself to my career and maybe adopt a pup or two."

Tanner felt his heart tear into pieces at his older bother's words. He felt bad that his brother had been so unlucky in love. All he wanted was to see the omega happy and with his own dominant. But alas he had not. And now here he was at only 23 years old and having his ceremony the following day. He prayed that his brother would find his soulmate soon.

"Let's go get ice-cream." Said the younger submissive as he stood up.

"It's almost midnight" said Bear in a disapproving tone.

His brother's eyes glinted with mischief.

"It'll be like old times. You and I sneaking into the kitchen to steal ice-crram. If my Introduction ceremony goes well tomorrow I'll be married within a week and we might not be able to do this ever again. So come on big bro!"

Bear shook his head as the submissive pulled him out of his childhood bedroom and downstairs to the kitchen. Where they stole some ice-cream and ate the left over pie from dinner before retreating to Bear's bedroom where they chatted until the wee hours of the morning,and eventually fell asleep cuddled up in bed just like when they were kids.
