"You should sleep now." Y/n said as she covered me with the blanket.

"Wait." I held her hand as she was about to leave

She turned and looked at me .

"You care for me right?" I asked

"What type of a question is this?"

"Its a simple question, you have been feeding me , tucking me to sleep , sitting by my side , all of this shows that you care about me."

"I dont wish to answer this."

"You like me right?"

"I-."

"Jungkook?"before she could answer anything , hyung interrupted us.

I let go of her hand as i saw hyung looking at us with suspicion.

"Jungkook, i am going to drop her home and then i ll come back and stay here for the night . Alright ." He said to which i nodded.

To be honest, i was disappointed , i wanted y/n to answer my question but hyung had to come in between..

Brains : no matter whatever you plan for yourself, God always has other plans.

Me : tch.

They left in a while as i drifted off to sleep

After dressing in a nurse's uniform , she entered his room .

He was asleep , the IV dripped still attached to him , his condition was much stable now .

Beside his bed, on a sofa , slept his elder brother .

she quickly tiptoed towards his bed and looked at the IV drip.

This was one risky but best opportunity to kill him , she took out an injection from her pocket and started to inject it into the IV bag but it slipped from her hand making a tick sound.

She quickly picked it up but it was too late

"Who is it ?" Asked his brother who was up

"Its me , i am here to check his IV drip."

"Really?" He got up from the sofa , she knew he was suspicious of her .

"But a nurse just already checked it 20 minutes ago , why are you here then?" Is their some problem?" He asked and continued "plus there is only 1 nurse who is allotted to him and i recognise her but you seem new?"

Not being able to answer more of his question, she attempted to run away but he grabbed her arm and pulled her back.

"Guards! Guards!" He shouted as the two guards came in along with some other staff members.

"Is she one of the staff from the hospital?" He asked but none of them were able to recognise her.

"Who are you?" He asked and show me what's on your hand , she hid it behind her back but he forcefully took it from her.

"What's wrong hyung? ." It was the patient who spoke this time , he was up from all the commotion..

"Do you recognise her?"

"Rika?" He said confused

"Who is she?"

"She is in my university." He answered before speaking again "what are you doing here rika?" He asked confused as he noticed his clothing.

"She tried to kill you."

"Huh?"

"But thats not-."

"Look at this !" His elder brother showed him the injection.

"WHAT KIND OF A HOSPITAL IS THIS? IS THERE NO SECURITY FOR THE PATIENTS? CAN ANYONE JUST ENTER THE HOSPITAL AND KILL THE PATIENTS?!" His brother was angry as he shouted at all the staff members who were gathered there.

"AND YOU , are going to jail."

"No please , let me go." She started to plead him but he had already called the police.

"But yoongi-shi why didn't you call me at night?" I asked him as i sat on the sofa beside jungkook's bed.

"I didn't want to worry you."

"But-."

"Y/n , i am fine." It was jungkook who spoke this time.

"Anyways , are you guys on bad terms with This Rika girl?" Yoongi-shi asked

"I am not at least but i have been rude to her sometimes but i dont think that would made her kill me ." Jungkook stated.

"But she did try to kill you." Yoongi-shi said raising his eyebrow

"I thought she liked you." I said with a annoying expression

"She did !." Jungkook spoke

" also do you know that she is Namjoon sunbae's fiance."

"What?" Jungkook asked surprised

"Yes and in her own engagement, you did stuff with her." I said emphasising on stuff.

"I was not—."

"Jungkook you did stuff with someone else's fiance , not to forget who tried to kill you."

"Yes he did that stuff-."

"Oh God ! Stop it you guys - what stuff stuff?" He was annoyed "i didnt do any stuff with her , it was her , she tried to seduce me but it didn't effect me and i left." He pouted

"Oh.."

So thats what had happened!

Somehow i was relieved hearing that.

"Anyways for now she is in jail , but you guys need to think of a reason as to why she tried to kill you."

"Maybe she holds a grudge because i kept on rejecting her." Spoke Jungkook.

"Hey Jungkook!" It was jimin

"How are you?" He came inside as he sat on the chair on the other side of the bed.

"Better now."

"Why do you get in fights?"

"They were pissing me off." He said with angry expression.

"Y/n i heard you were involved too, are you alright?"

"Yea."

"It turns out Rika tried to attack me last night."

"What?" He looked surprised

"Yea!"

"Our university's Rika?"

"Ahan"

"The one who literally follows you everywhere?"

"Yup!"

"But Jungkook-."

"I know i know , its unbelievable."

"Maybe she holds a grudge because you used to reject her all the time."

"But this is no reason to kill someone." It was me who spoke this time "you cant impose your feelings on someone."

"Anyways , Hyung send her to jail."

"What about her family ? Do they know of this ?" Asked jimin

"I dont know and i dont care." Said yoongi-shi

It might not look like it but yoongi-shi and Jungkook cared for each other alot.

"When are you going to get discharged?" Asked jimin

"'I am still under observation so maybe tomorrow or day after." Jungkook answered

"Alright , i ll get you notes for your missed classes." And with that he left.

"Y/n i am sorry but i ll have to trouble you." Yoongi-shi spoke

"Sure."

"Can you stay here with Jungkook for the day , i cant miss work , i ll be back later in the evening and then i can stay the night."

"Sure." I smiled as yoongi- shi left the room.

"Lets continue our conversation from before."

"I dont want to talk about it ." I answered

"Listen-." Before he could persist me further i cut him off and spoke "why dont you answer my question first." I said as i sat on the chair on which jimin was sitting on earlier.

"Why did you get in the fight for me? If you hadn't none of this would have happened." I spoke with worry.

" dont you know it ?" He said as he took my hand and started to caress it.

"But Jungkook this is wr-." I answered

"I like you!" He said as he stared deeply in my eyes.

My heart started to beat faster at his sudden confession.

"No , actually its more than that." He had a serious expression on.

I gulped as i stared back at him , his eyes that once showed no emotion were full of emotions right now.

I was speechless, deep down in my heart i knew that he had developed feelings for me but hearing it made me blank for a while , it took a while for me to speak.

"No! Jungkook i am already engaged to your brother, and i might get married to him after i graduate and graduation is very near." I pulled my hand away from his grip.

"Y/n please." He spoke

"No Jungkook , we arent meant to be together."

"Y/n i know i did wrong , i hurt you and all but y/n i cant anymore, i cant watch you marry my own brother , hell , i cant watch you marry anyone." He confessed

"Jungkook dont say anymore."

"Why y/n? Dont you feel the same? I know you do right?"

"Jungkook stop now."

"I wont , if you are rejecting me because i was bad to you then i am sorry , i know i did wrong, i would do anything to make everything right!"

"But Jungkook oppa wont accept-."

"I ll apologise to him too , i was wrong i know but y/n i cant bear this anymore. I dont see you as my brother's fiance , Give me a chance to prove myself please." He spoke with sincere and pleading eyes.

"I SAID STOP! Its too late now , nothing can happen between us. Its too late , you should have thought about it when you were bad to me , when you tried to hurt me , when you disrespected my brother." With a cold tone I continued "do you think that with kust few words of apology i would forget everything that you have done to me uptil now , like l-leaking m-my pictures from the gym and what not." I could feel a knot forming in my throat .

"I dont want to be with you." And with that tears started to fall from my eyes one by one.

It hurt , recalling everything from the past hurt

His confession hurt , rejecting him hurt .

"Why are you crying?" He asked

"I dont want to talk to you ,y heart feels heavy right now , i am going out , you should rest , yoongi -shi might be coming too." Saying that i left the room closing the door shut.

I asked the security guard to guard Jungkook's room and went downstairs.
